Surprising to see a typing game in the jam, but it was integrated quite well here! The play on words of the title definitely adds to its charm. Great work!
Never thought I'd play a typing game here, but here I am. And I'm not upset about it which is good. Got 37 complimented when I beat it, which is interesting because it sounds like you'd want a higher number, but the better typist you are, the lower score you'd get... Also I found you can spam spacebar with no penalty to catch the fish. Maybe there would be a delay of the line reeling in if you miss a fish to prevent rapidfire spacebar? Audio is quite relaxing, Art is great. Not much more to say, it's good!

This is cute! I really enjoyed playing it. Though the more I played, the more frustrated I got that i couldn't get the remaining fish down to zero. I was trying to time it right, but it seemed nearly impossible >_<

Thanks for the feedback! I tried to make it more possible to catch all the fish by making the fish spawn timer longer when you have more difficult fish spawning, but it sounds like I need to refine it a bit more.
Such a wholesome idea! :D I managed to compliment 50 fish before I started misspelling every word lol! There were a few words that felt like they didn't completely fit (though I must admit calling a fish 'durable' is hilarious to me) but as a whole such a nice and cute game! :) 🐟🐠🐡
Thank you! I definitely need to go through the list of words and take some stuff out, I just pulled an auto-generated list of words and then briefly looked through them for anything offensive. My favorite one is calling a fish "humane" haha

This is a nice concept, great job!, I just wonder, how to finish the level, I got like 70 complimented fish but still the remaining getting grower
Thanks for playing! To finish it you have to get the "fish remaining" counter down to 0, but the timing is a bit difficult since new fish continue to spawn every x seconds. That is something I want to work on, maybe I would add levels with a set amount of fish in the future.
I really like the idea of 'fishing for compliments' but its you giving fish compliments! Very wholesome game
I do wonder if there is some ending after complimenting all fish?

What a fun cozy game to learn typing, I was trying to speedrun type it haha!

Beside the bugs loved the game, tho some visuals could be better worked out some bubble animations, but it's actually a good game I enjoy!

Quite fun and relaxing, good practice for typing! I feel like it'd be cool as a kid learning to type. Good user feedback (color of letter changing when you type a letter).
