Very fun and addictive! Would love something to help collect coins, and some of the red fish wouldn't take any food and die, but still was very fun. Don't know about insaniquarium, but I'll check it out now.

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Very fun game! I had lots of fun maximizing fishing profits. Spearing is OP and tuna are GREAT. I have two suggestions, that the spearing tutorial can be skipped (and text in general can be skipped, unless there is some control I missed) and that you can go home even if you have spears left, because at one point I only had spears left but couldn't spear anything so I had to wait until the end of the day to progress. I also had a bug where the game crashed while spearing things (like another guy mentioned I think, and this was in the .exe version not the web build). Nevertheless, this is one of the most fun games I've played in the jam, great job!

Nice game! I think the section before the boss is a little drawn out as others have said but I still had fun, good job especially for your first game jam!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I am surprised about the levels because I was just winging it, but I'm glad they progressed well enough in difficulty lol. The UI is definitely one of the weak points as I never really got around to it (I will update it in a later update) and the name does sound like flappy bird, I'll look out for giving the wrong impression in the future. Thank you very much!

Thanks for playing! Good job with proving your intelligence, the fish will prevail! Im happy the fish sound effects me and my dad made were of high quality lol.

Thank you so much! I’m really glad you liked the game, this made my day!

I jumped when my fish Sussus Amogus ran into me after I sacrificed myself.

I think an in-world line telling you where you are pointing the fish would help. Still though, great game!

It was very fun to destroy those boats >:D

Very fun, easy to pick up game :)

Thanks!

Thanks for playing and leaving a comment!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Don't forget some of the difficulty also comes from my bad interesting level design.

What everyone else said, great game!

np, our first projects are bound to be full of bugs. Well, all games are filled with bugs aren’t they really lol

I love how the girl's name is fish in Japanese and her brother is called 'koi'.

Just replayed it, and I believe it is the 4th level after the first orange seaweed (sorry for the cryptic count lol). The Restart and Home buttons disappear,  and the game over screen doesn't show if you lose so you get stuck. There is also another bug which I assume you may already know about, but if you don't its that up until the 2nd level after the first orange seaweed, when you go to the rightmost side of the screen you go down. After reaching the 2nd level after the first orange seaweed, you can go all the way down by going to the right wall, then left wall, then right wall etcetera. I'm assuming this isn't intentional.

Good idea to keep the scope small at first!

Its surprising how many strategies you can do with one button, good job! Very replayable and the art style is really cool, very pleasing to the eyes lol. Not to mention that this is your first published game :0. Same critique about level similarity as other comments have said, I would also like to see more stuff in the levels (maybe a few other sea creatures swimming around and stuff).  I finally achieved 20 seconds on Seaweed Forest.

Very cool! The art and animations are really good and they give a lot of character to the game. I like how you can use the attack as a dash as well. I think the pufferfish could have a longer vulnerable state seeing how it takes a bit to position yourself to attack, but I could just be bad lol. Music is also good, but I think I had a bug where the music doesn't restart after I die. Good game.

This is really good for your third game! There are a lot of bugs, I didn't reach the end because there was a bug where the ball went under the screen but I didn't lose, but it is still pretty fun and I would've finished it if not for that.  I think you could make it more fair, limiting the max speed of the ball for example, while keeping it difficult.  Still though, very nice! Shark animation is great too.

Thank you!

Thanks! Hopefully I will make some more games from now on. Definitely going to check out your game, gonna do that for all the comments.

Thank you for the suggestions! Some signs would be good, watched my parents play it and they got confused at certain parts on where to go. Ill check out how 2d Mario's camera works too. Thank you for playing!

Unpolished as you've said but surprisingly fun! Dodging the balls (sea urchins? idk) was very satisfying for some reason. It feels like your fighting Sans underwater at times lol, very challenging. I did manage to complete it though, good job for the time you had.

I really like the 3d pixely art style! Sound effects are great. I feel like the controls were a bit too slippery though it might just be a skill issue. I like how the boat struggles to pull the big fish, makes trying to catch it a lot more interesting (though I haven't caught it yet). Very cool.

This shark is eating well tonight. The beat is very groovy.

Thanks! I joined late and I've never fully finished a game before so this is definitely very rushed lol.

Very fun little game. I never felt so rewarded after I found the shortcut.

I like it a lot! Was very intense near the end with little time. The atmosphere with the background music is also good lol, and it was very easy to follow the path I was supposed to go. The only bad thing I might say is that I wasn't sure exactly how to change between the powerups (I held the Q or E to change between them, though I didn't fully know when I had changed and stuff).  Still, great job.  I am proud to say I have found the shortcut.
