  • Awesome well polished game. I'm hungry now ! A lot of diverse gameplay, the tutorials were great and very welcomed, the difficulty ramp up was on point. At the end I was real chef, ready to do all the things asked. I liked that it turned a bit into a memory game at the end where you would'nt have access to the patrons orders and had to remember and optimize the stations. The art was great, the settings was super cute, the music was great, the audio as well. My only nit picking would be that some input were a bit awkward, shift to go back but then TAB was a bit weird and felt unatural, same for VBN, but I'm nit picking. Also at the very begining I though the "1" button in the tutorial for the grilled cheese station was a "I", so I was kind of stuck and though the game was bugged XD, maybe making the 1 a more apparent 1 character would help. Awesome entry !

The amount of buttons that I have to know is a bit overwhelming at first, it's a bit slow, but I am glad I don't have to worry about timer, because there's no timer. It's fine for me since I don't usually use mouse, but It can be a bit overwhelming.

This is an incredibly polished game to have been made in 10 days, wow! It was a lot of buttons to keep in mind but thankfully the button indicators made it easier. Also very grateful for the generous speed rating as trying to get used to all the controls took me some time 😂

Don't know if it was intentional, but at the end with the VIP when it said Space to continue, nothing happened so I'm not sure if anything was after that? Would've been maybe cool to see an average rating or something but that's just a nitpick.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing till the very end :D
Yes the comic with the VIP is the end of the game and nothing's after that - my mistake 😅 Yeah a high score or average would have been good but we ran out of time unfortunately
Thank you for the feedback!!

Help! I've been transported to my elementary school computer lab!

Seriously, this feels like something that would have been made in the 2000s to teach kids how to type and I love it. The art is absolutely adorable. The writing is cute and funny. The gameplay is engaging, and though I wasn't used to using left and right shift to do different things, it makes sense for the game. Good work, everyone.

If I had to complain, I guess I'd say I associate toasties more with Britain than New York, but that's such a minor detail.

This really doesn’t feel like a game made in 10 days, it’s so complete. A very well executed typing tycoon game with a great theme and visual style. Great job!

I love this game! I played it until the end, even though I usually don't do that when rating games!

Whoa, I'm actually amazed! The audio design and artwork were both very polished and lovely, and the gameplay ramped up the perfect amount over its runtime, almost making it feel like a real, yet rewarding, kitchen job. When you've made me perservere despite my 5 key being broken, that's how you know you've done a good job. (Also it made me hungry for chicken and corn.)

Really cute artwork, the artstyle is very cohesive and polished, the gameplay is fun  too.

The only thing i felt is that the controls where a bit too complex, once you play a little you can get used to them but ad the beggining felt a bit overwhelming.

Overall great cute game :D
