Neat prototype! I think the autobattling worked pretty okay, especially with potentially so many crew members. Impressive amount of items and kinds of crew and enemies and equipment! I had difficultly getting myself healed (could afford medkits, didn't seem to be any other option?) after a bit of combat, so got caught in a death spiral. Would have been nice if there was a cheap heal at your ship or something like that.
Oh hey, you’re that Frankie! I saw some of your pixel art streams a long time ago. Great art, man.
I think it does honestly work as an autobattler. With a short look it seems like a really mechanically deep submission. Do all these character skill levels actually do things, or is it just a bit of fakery as a taste for a larger game?
I was a bit lost without a manual. No idea what an autobroker does, but selling it sure nets me a lot of cash for hiring much better crew right out of the gate… I didn’t get very far before it crashed on me, though. No idea where the theme plays in.
I did not see the theme.
But I really like this game.
I even like the autobattling.
Tate kept hogging all the loots.
Selfish tate. No wonder he died first.
Keep going with this one, its got some good potential.
This is great! I love the purple palette in the first zone. I love the smooth movement. It's great how enemies creep closer toward the camera as the fight progresses. Well done!
Loved the graphics and the mechanics, good sfx, good setup, would love to see it fleshed out a bit more. Felt like a classic (albeit sci-fi) dungeon crawler in all regards.
I'm wondering : is there an ending? If there's one I might investigate further, but if there's none I probably won't.
I mostly mapped the northern (mostly still purple part), did not really explore the eastern outdoor area to the right and even less the western one.
After realizing accessories sold for a big amount of cash, I started to build crews which still got defeated easily but at least they got defeated in a presentable suit.
The environment, the enemies, the portaits, the UI, everything looks pretty good. Music fits and is atmospheric.
Movement is good. Party management takes a lot of pressing buttons but I am not sure you can really do with less, it's just management of a big party.
The class roster is intereseting, now I want to play as a full party of stamp collectors. I love the different number of arms and feet between the races.
I think you mix fixed encounters with random ones whose rate is not too low, I like that.
Not sure how ammo exactly work, probably exactly just like ammo, in the end my bottom dudes owned guns but combat ended stuck when they could not hit the enemies anymore while the enemies could not hit them either.
Basically, I just want more!
Good job, the game’s got a great atmosphere. A honestly appreciated the auto-battle :)
I love the crunchy big pixels of your “dungeon”, well done!
Very cool atmosphere. All of the systems seem promising, though just being dropped into the game with no explanation for them feels a bit rough at first
I love the artstyle and the mechanics were complex but also easy to understand, i was just having a bug where the game crashed when i am clicking the buy supplies button. but besides that i enjoyed it :) Thanks Frankie
