Seems interesting. The slapfights against zombies and skeletons were pretty amusing, and I like the subtle communication of where the traps are. I think the combat is slightly too abundant for this kind of game -- I wonder if it would work better if enemies were less frequent, but more dangerous. Overall, good effort.

Well the tagline didn't lie lol. Nice cohesive design, the graphics fit nicely with the sound. The foot step noise was perhaps a little harsh after a few minutes of walking around but great entry.

as advertised, the game was hard. why did the skeleton take more punches than the guy who was not a skeleton?

it depends on the stats you get when you first start the game mainly, then each time the levels load every grid square has a random value that is multiplied by your luck to see how much damage you actually do.. moving to a new grid can change how easy or hard each enemy is to kill..

Thanks for playing though. And I will be doing at least some bug fixes as soon as I can.

So there's a flashlight in the very first room and batteries here and there but...how do you use the flashlight? Mashed all the keyboard and nothing. And nothing about it in the controls?

Otherwise this was pretty good, but the pitch darkness made it a chore to explore and find things. I was probably missing something about the flashlight. Going to go back and finish this as soon as I figure out the flashlight thing.

select it in the inventory using bumpers, roll mouse, or press number on the keyboard.. then press E, right-click, or B on your gamepad... but thanks for playing.

Good looking game with some solid mechanics. Nice inventory system. I found the game to be very difficult from 2nd level and out but that is perhaps intentional :D

Hi. Thanks for playing. Yes that is intentional. Did you complete the game? Each of the 4 main levels is progressively more difficult and larger. The boss level at the end is actually pretty easy tho if you find all the weapons and get good stats at the start.
