How does the game fit into the theme?
The potato knight never stops moving. It will bounce off walls to keep its speed and confuse its enemies!

We used premade assets for the sound FX. The assets are licensed under Creative Commons 0 and Attribution 4.0 licenses, and we have the legal rights to use those assets. The creators are listed in-game and on the Itch page.

The movement mechanics are very interesting; I found them very original.

It's actually a lot of fun, although I would have preferred to boost with another button and attack with the left click. Also, the music could have been a little more energetic; I think it was a bit slow for the situation. Still, it's a very fun game.

It looks unusual and the mechanics are interesting, but you can move the camera a little further away or do something else, because when you go down, you can't react to traps at high speed.

Well, you also can't see where the end is, but everything else is fine!

The controls are interesting, but VERY hard to master.

I'd like for the camera to move a little bit in front of the player so it's easier to tell that a hole or enemy is coming.

Other then that, interesting idea!

The music is super cute too. I  cant get past level 3 but I enjoy it nonetheless haha

This is delightful. I think you made a good choice giving the player health so they don’t die in one shot. I found that I could just keep spamming left click and bypass the main mechanic of bouncing off the walls, so I would suggest putting a cooldown on that. Great work!

The visuals are so cute! The music goes very well along with it.

Gameplay wise, I like the mix between arcade-y and puzzle-y, it reminds me a bit of necrodancer in that regard, except there are no rhythm mechanics. One thing that might've been interesting would be an incentive to minimize the number of clicks, because it's very possible to just keep adjusting your route/spamming clicks to get where you need to.

The combat visual effects are cool and it's nice to have a clear feedback of when you're being attacked or when you hit an enemy, kudos for that.

wow, that movement is awesome! easy to understand, but super hard to pull off well. and the animations on the potato are so cute!

Ok first off the simple hand-drawn makes it feel fun right from the start! The jumping needs to be a little clearer than it is atm BUT I haven't seen this type of movement before, I think this is a pretty neat idea with room for expansion. I imagine more enemy types and hazards could spice up different levels. It just has a really nice flow especially with how you just bounce off walls and keep going. Pretty high skill ceiling too as I imagine pros could try challenge runs where they minimise clicks as they careen around the level... Also its a little touch but I love how the enemies explode into stars when I get em xD, good game guys!
