Heavily modified script to synchronize rhythm. Some Apple loops were used in the music.

Happy to see that we were not the only one to incorporate some rhythm mechanics.
I really like the concept of an enemy that shoots from an untouchable turret, that's pretty original! I can see some inspiration from just Shapes'n Beats with the visuals, which is smart since it's a game jam and you can spend more time on other stuff. It wasn't too long nor short. It's a fun little game!
If I had something to criticize, maybe it lacked a bit of juice?
But all in all good job!

Another seemingly unique take on the theme, really cool. Some more juice on hits would be nice and it took me a while to notice the health bar in the middle of the character. But overall a cool idea executed really well.

The gameplay is simple but efficient ! It forces you to take risk to progress in the game. I am very bad and fortunatly you made dash invincible. Great times on this game !

Pretty fun, would've loved more sounds and the dash kinda felt choppy. But a cool idea, good implementation of the theme and simple but good looking visuals :)
thank you! we were aiming for a dash that felt more like a teleport (sort of like Celeste's). We probably should've given it an audio queue.

This is cool! really fun and nuanced for the simplicity. Sometimes had a bug where i stopped being able to shoot at all.
been chasing that bug all week! It's got something to do with the tempo being thrown off after unfocusing..
The mechanic of only being able to shoot from certain zones is really nice and the art style looks great.
Not sure if just the web version but being able to shoot, even with in the box, felt inconsistent to me. I don’t recall it being like that in an earlier version so not sure what’s up there.
Hmm. Shooting is activated within rhythm, so usually click-holding is the best way to go. Trying to tap shoot gives varied results--that may be what you're running in to!

SO. GOOD. Incredibly fun and great execution of your limitation idea. Love the dynamic music that shifts as you progress makes you feel like you're progressing ever closer to the boss and the balancing is tough but in a good way like it's a good pacing I feel and just overall it's incredibly solid and just a really well made and fun bullet hell with an interesting mechanic that makes it stand apart on its own! :D I got through the first 2 bosses so as of writing this I want to see how far I can get later on.

Resolution for the WebGL is set way too big (I'm guessing its developed in 4k or 1440p). Its so big that I can't hit the start button! I had to change my display scaling and still half the game is cut off. The gameplay is pretty unique however the enemy shooting behaviour could be tweaked to make it slightly more interesting. However well done! amazing how you could produce such a product in such a small time frame
yeah, the resolution and WebGL was put together in the last hours, which lead to a couple issues. I think pressing F11 to fullscreen it adjusts it to your monitor tho (for any other players that might run into this issue)

f11 doesnt work on mac but ill try it the next time I boot up my windows pc
