How does you game fit the theme?
You are in mysterious place, in the dark, not alone. Follow signs and find a way out to the light again! If your mouse won't go all way around, just resize a window, and it will work.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I use few assets: infinity PBR gargoules, bomber bug...

visually, the game has great atmosphere, the gameplay is good and the concept is great however the sounds get a bit repetitive and they sound a bit crunchy(?) which kinda breaks the immersion. although the great decisions made for the lighting compensate for that greatly, the game wouldve been a bit better with clearer and less repetitive audio! i saw a bunch of comments talking about the mouse control, but imo its pretty fine, it matches the style of game surprisingly well, great job!

Edit: just saw how incredibly close to the deadline that was lmfao, glad u could submit it

Darkness is all I see! Played and rated, would appreciate if you do the same for us!

Execution of idea is really nice.... Keep It Up☺

The visuals were really nice! I liked this harsh, graphical style with the torchlight.
It took me a while to figure some things out, like being able to jump on the bugs for a jumping boost (nice trick!) Having to find skulls to keep the torch lit was cool, although it took me many attempts of failing and retrying to begin memorizing the maze.
Since I wanted to run all the time (I didn't see any reason to just walk) it was annoying to have to hold down a key the entire time to do that, instead of just auto-run. Running also felt too slow, considering the size of the map.
Despite the difficulty and somewhat buggy and frustrating controls, I had fun! I kept trying over and over again, wanting to beat the dang maze.  XD  Thank you for sharing this game!

Great work, i had some issues with the controls tho, i wish it would continue to turn when im on the edge of screen with my mouse. I also got a little lost, but i believe that is part of the experience ! Nice game.

Wow nice! Great lighting, characters and environments! Great job!

At first I thought that monsters inside the labyrinth will kill me. Anyway cool design and I like these kind of escape room games!

Simple idea, really good execution! Adding roofs to the rooms would make the game more claustrophobic and scarier.

Omg, this sound, when the game is over, is really scary. I like the lighting and the sounds. They make very stressful atmosphere which perfectly matches the situation when you are out of light and the skull is too far away

If you goal was to scare the s--t out of people, It worked on me D:

The atmosphere is suphocating, well done

In the beginning my camera wasn't rotating 360 degrees but after a few tens of seconds it was working. Lighting is nice and I really liked animation of the enemy when I was jumping on it! 3D models are cool. I enjoyed! Great job!

Didnt get very far kept dying. The lighting was great though.

Great game! I really like the atmospheric light conditions. :)

Nicelly done, it was a fresh thing having to use an enemy to solve the jump. Great work.

I struggled a bit with camera but it was pleasure to play this game.

Super atmospheric and theme related, nice touch.

I had some troubles finding the light, probably since the mouse sensitivity was a bit off for me as someone mentioned here already. But I was pretty invested!

Good use of atmosphere. The use of the constant footfalls was unnerving. However it gave the misimpression that there something was in the room that was not illuminated  by the torch when the game started.  I ended up running past a few messages as a result.

For the tutorial messages, I would recommend placing them near the skulls so that players are more likely to encounter them: I only read the message that explains what the skulls did after I backtracked to check for a path that I might have ran past.

The use of a limited torch duration is good because it kept me moving.

Encountering the few power ups that I did find did encourage me to backtrack and look around more for more potential goodies, which did add to my internal struggle of "Do I continue searching and be forced to traverse around blindly or retreat back to the skull and potentially not find my way back here?". The duration of the power ups felt low and that made the margin of error for the last section feel a bit tight.

Overall, a good concept and game.

Thank you very much! I will look to improve some of those things.

Great game! I have some tips to improve the game.

-I would not use cursive on the walls since it is difficult to read the texts.

-I didn't understand if the bugs were enemies or not, since I jumped on one and it didn't do anything to me hahaha

-I would try to add a sensitivity function, in my case I had to increase the mouse dpi to play.

Good use of theme, good atmosphere. I really feel like I wasn't alone.

I really liked the game, keep it up!

Thank you for playing and usefull tips!

The graphics were good, however there is a lot of room for improvement. For example my cursor was not locked in the screen so I could only see half of the room. Updating the Itchio page in order to explain the goal and the controls might be an idea too.

Developer

Thank you very much! I found cursor bug, the fix is just to resize window from full screen and back.

Theme wise, spot on. I truly did not feel alone. It was a bit of a shame that, if a new message was written on the wall - I knew that if I stayed a while to read it, the torch would soon go dark.

You had some intriguing graphics here though, a unique atmosphere and honestly some pretty creepy monster sounds

Developer

Thank you so much!
