How does you game fit the theme?
A giant eye makes creatures appear and disapear depending on your progression in game.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code besides NavMeshPlusPlus. The assets besides some made by my girlfriend are from others. I was alone.

Great atmosphere and narration for this game, nice game :)

I like the story and the ambiance and feel of it
The main menu was a bit of an eye sore for me tbh so I feel like it could be a bit easier on the eyes
Courage was not very explained. I also think it drains super quickly and also if I take damage I have to wait till the animation is done to use it which usually leads to me taking damage right after bc I couldn't activate it.
The eyes add nice suspense to the game but they spawn in too quickly and too randomly some basic Ai-assisted spawn system would be nice to ensure the player has some advantage since we can't really fight back.
Also, one final thing, Idk if it existed and I missed it but some small UI to tell that the object near you is interactable. In most cases, it's easy to tell but sometimes giving a small UI hint that you're near an interactable is nice.
All in all, it's a really nice game with good art and I enjoyed playing it. Good job!
The menu is a bug actually, oups :{ i added the quit button too quick before the end and forgot to deactivate.
I completly agree with all you said! Although for the placement they are not random, you can see their shadows on the ground to help you.
At first i wanted an easy mode that courage would be doubled and enemies/2 but instead i opted for a not-really punishing death. It only increments and change the ending. You even keep the items you had.
For the objects, i wanted, like you said, that they are obvious in on itself, giving point and click vibes if that makes sense. But i can see that was perhaps not entirely ร good idea.
Overall, i hope you had a great time playing and i can't thank you enough for this great feedback ๐

Nice work. Has a sense of dread. May want to give more information about courage. I thought it would make the dark eye effect open back up.

I enjoyed the exploration in this game! The house had a lot of interesting spots and stuff to interact with, I would say that the eyes mechanic is a bit unfair sometimes, like one time I was going to exit a room in the house and suddenly eyes spawned from both sides of the door, and there was nowhere too really escape to, So maybe a bit more Assisted spawn control would improve on that front.

Game was great! graphics , animations and sound design was amazing, I did get lost accouple of times but other than that it was great.
A really fantastic game. Really really great graphics and the music fits perfectly. I really enjoyed playing this game. Best game I tested in this Game Jam so far. :)
