In what way does your game fit the theme?
Harold and The Magic Drawer was borne of the idea of causing chaos around the workplace--a place that would usually be very stuck-up and orderly. By disobeying the rules and destroying everything in sight, the player is essentially LETTING there be chaos.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I used Cinemachine and Astar Pathfinding Project; I also borrowed certain royalty-free sound effects from sites such as OpenGameArt. The rest of the SFX and all of the VFX were made by me, as was all of the music. All of the art and animations are courtesy of my partner, the very talented Natalie Baublitz. And, of course, the game was made using the Unity game engine.

Funny ^^ I must say it's not that challenging, as the boss is pretty slow, and a bit empty, would be nice to be able to destroy a bit more than desks, but fun to play. The music is good, the art too, but I had some lag problems once in a while.
Fun game! Kinda same concept of mine but in 2D, Well done!
Fun game!
Fun game! Harold has quite the magic drawer. I feel like i got a lucky draw with that party cannon!
Nice game. Once suggestion, have a different affect on the desk when you use different weapons. Fun trying to destroy as many as I could while avoiding the boss. Might have been more fun to whack the boss too! (could this be a feature request?) :)
Very interesting concept, I really enjoyed it. Athough when you pick wrong weapon it could be really challenging. Anyway, good job, keep it up! :) (And is that remix of Tunak tunak tun on win screen? XD)
Nah, lmao. Glad you liked it tho! :)
Nice idea! Think it could be good if there was some visual feedback when you're close enough to destroy the desks
Nice work! So many ways to explore this concept!
I would recommend a faster swing or allow me to supercharge if I get many in a row.
Harold's gotta find another way to party besides just the party gun, hitting the desks ain't cutting it.
Nice work!
I did find it a little hard to break the computers at some points. It did seem like there was a "sweet spot" I had to stand to get the hits to register.
Overall, good job with this!
Yeah, I'm aware. xD
I think most of the weapon's hitboxes made SOME sense, at least. Like, the broom only works if you hit the desk with the very end of it, because that's the way it would work irl. I do agree that larger hitboxes would make more sense gameplay-wise tho.
Thanks for the feedback! :D
fun concept with the random objects from the magic draw :).
I could have done with more feedback on how damaged desk were getting from different objects hitting it.
I had some trouble landing blows, getting draw open etc, at first, but got the hang of it in time.
Well done!
Thanks for the feedback! :)
Cool art style! Love the music!
Oh thanks--I made the music myself ;)
Cool art! Enjoyed the game :)
Thanks!
I really love the art, music and overall idea of this game! Fun implementation of the theme. Nice job!
Thanks so much! I'll give your game a shot when I can ;)
Aweome idea! Im looking forward to a full game now. I'll need it to keep myself of dreaming about sawing my coworker's desks in half!
Lol, maybe one day! :D
Love the concept of busting up the office... not that I've ever thought about that or anything.
xD
Thanks for playing!!
Its a bit weird but funny and i like the end with the jukebox and dancing :D
Thanks for playing! :D
I like the game! I just would think its cooler if the Boss cant rebuild destroyed Desk :) But the People are looking Nice :) And the music fits to the game ^^
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I considered taking it out, but it made the game feel too easy. I think it makes the game cooler in the sense that the player has to lead the boss away from the desks they've destroyed. And you can always find neat little items in the drawer that will make things a whole lot easier! ;)
Fun little game. Art looks very nice. Also, who hasn't dreamt of doing this at your workplace at least once xD.
Lolllllll. Thanks for the kind feedback! :)
