In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme in two different areas. First, it is a two player game, that is purposely very difficult, if your playing with only one player, this highlights that the players are "stronger together". Second, in the games story the player must collect all three chains to bind fenris, Alone the chains are not strong enough to do it, but *together* they are able.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
No, none of the assets were made by us, however all of the scripts and level design was done by us.

This is a really nice game, shame i never got around to playing it on stream. It can be a little awkward to remember all of the controls and the both cameras felt a little janky, but once I got them down I was able to complete a couple of levels. Keep up the good work!
I loved the SFX that the right player got to cast down. Art was all super cool and the animations were impressive. Was a little difficult for me to multitask playing both parts but if I had someone to co-op this with would be fun!
A good game. I really wish I had someone to play with. I think the music, the art, and the music are very well arranged. And fits the theme nicely as well.
The game captures *cold viking atmosphere* really well. It's fun to slice bad guys with an axe but it gets extremely hard if you're not using the second player. The lack of a proper camera rotation on the first player is not benifiting the game since the other half of the screen is occupied by the 2nd player, it's hard to keep track of everything that's happening. It's possible that with 2 players as intended the experience would be drastically different.
I tried to use both players with no success in that department, but my micromanagement is not that good. One of the strong points - the game has a plot and dialogues with characters speaking vernacular of the time the game is set in.
I really appreciate the feedback! By lack of proper rotation what do you mean?
Very cool game! The visuals are stunning! Hard to imagine it was made in a week! :D
we didnt sleep much lol
Really unique game with a lot of polish. Very impressive game here.

Awesome character rigging, fun overall. Very impresive.
this game is fantastic in visuals. it reminds me of horizon zero dawn lol.
but everythings's really good although some parts are confusing but i hope you can fix them :D
good luck!
check out my game if you have the time :)
thanks
This game looks fantastic! I love the level design and how everything seems to be put together so seamlessly. Amazing job to everybody involved!
Cool idea! Camera is a bit janky at times but my brother and I had fun playing it.
Really good stuff! At times it does keep you a little confused on what to do but overall very well made! Also maybe next time make it so that pressing G doesnt completely skip to the next dialogue, but rather completes the typing animation and pressing G again then skips to the next one. Music and Graphics? 5/5
The game just had small things that needs to be addressed but other than that the sfx and the graphics are amazing!
I'm playing it alone so it is very difficult. :P
The idea of having two players with different roles is an interesting one, and the magical abilities are a nice touch, but I think having the game be split-screen takes away from the overall experience a bit. Especially when it comes to keymapping and controls. Using U and I (inverted) to rotate the camera is a bit clunky, and the lack of rotation on the x and z-axes along with the split-screen makes it difficult to see where you're going or what's ahead. Seeing as this was a game jam though, I get the decision.
On the other hand, my first impression when starting the game, seeing the menu, setting, animations, dialogue etc. were very positive.
A week isn't a long time to develop a game, and I definitely think this is something you should keep working on. With a bit of polish to the controls and combat, it could turn out great! Overall, well done! :)
Also, keep in mind that I haven't tried with 2 players (the intended way, I presume), and I might've had a different view if I had.
Thanks for the feedback! I actually hadn't realized that we had the U and I keys inverted lol. Part of the second players role is to guide the warrior though the lv, which is why we didnt improve the view of his surroundings ;)
You did a great job man that´s impressive! Unfortunately i didnt had anyone to play with, but still was awesome.
this game is great in all aspects, the only thing to complain about is that i don't have friends :(
also the wolf camera on the second level was very small and it was quite annoying tbh :(
other than that, this game should win in specially the graphics and audio
Thanks Man! I'll have to take a look at that lv 2 camera. If you really do want to see our game win I would appreciate it if you shared it around :)
