In what way does your game fit the theme?
My game fits the theme through the character needing the spirit in order to progress the landscapes and it also makes sense story-wise with the bond of the spirits being closer than first realized
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, with exception of what is listen at the bottom of the game page. I have created all assets and I do have the rights to the following that I did not create

That was a beautiful game. Not something I would expect for this theme, but fits it well.
I'm just disappointed I got teleported before jumping on the last scene.
Congrats! Rated!
What an incredible take on the theme. Mostly I expect the theme coming back in the form of game-play. But a sibling bond that has been broken is a very unique angle. I absolutely loved the ending, it gave me goosebumps all over my arms.
Now as for critique. The overall levels sometimes felt to "bland", they had pretty colors, but there was no general "pull" that kept me wanting to explorer this weird mystical world. I simply followed where the butterfly told me to go, but often times I was already at the "checkpoint" myself before I knew it. I would have loved to be able to get lost inside the levels and explore the dreamy landscapes (although this might simply be a time constraint issue, it is only 5 days after-all).
I would also focus a bit more on audio immersion, next to lighting audio is THE most important part in a game like this to really pull the player in. Make the player feel the difference of materials he/she is walking on or through by using different audio clips. There was wind and stuff, but use much more ambient audio! The water that softly hits the edge, the bristles of the tree rustling against each other, the sounds that might appear in a distance giving space to your environment.
Story telling wise definitely something with potential here! Would love to see more of it.
Thank you for your compliments and feedback, I was planning on adding more to the environment but as you guessed, I couldn't because of time constraints, I was going to add more little audio to enhance the ambiance but it was 2:00 AM and I had finished everything else and I just wanted to sleep XD
But I'm really glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate all the feedback given!
Wow that was great! The sounds and graphics are good. The vibe was also so good.

Absolutely beautiful experience. Perfect in every aspect. Gameplay, story, graphics, sfx, music, colors. And the ending... Really touching!
You made a beautiful piece of art in such a short time. Congratulations.
I have nothing else to add that no one mentioned already. I really enjoyed playing through it!
I had this tab open for about two hours, because the screenshots intrigued me so much and I didn't want to forget to play this game. And god, did it deliver.
The atmosphere is just unbelievably good, especially for a game jam. The way you used the assets was amazing. Never really did my immersion break or did the journey feel tedious or boring, it was engaging 'til the end. This is one of the games where I barely run, just so I can deliberately take the game slowly and take in the world.
And the end was overwhelmingly emotional. I can say without exaggerating that it nearly brought me to tears. While it was obvious that your "Guardian Spirit" was more than just some magical butterfly, the delivery at the end of the game really made me feel melancholic. I didn't even want to switch out of the last screen to write this comment, because I didn't want to stop the music.
I added this to my collection. I want to play this again at some point when I actually have the time to properly experience it. Until then, keep up the good work.
Very beautiful experience. Very relatable and strong representation of the theme in past tense. I really really enjoyed it. Thank you.
This is beautiful, and inspiring. You’ve really done a great of showing what an effect color choice can have while playing a game. Fantastic job on this.
Here’s my game if you’d like to give it a play.
Wow. Really beautiful game. I really like this unique take on the theme, hits home a little bit. The visuals are great and simple and the story is too. The music drops in and out at the right times. Good job!

I just played through this and it was awesome. Dude, I really think you should've sold this instead of putting it for free. Anyways, I'm following your projects from now on... Fantastic job....
WOW! Very very very very GOOD! This is the best game I've played from this game jam yet. You deserve to win! The music, the story, the graphics, the gameplay... It just fits together really well. Good job!
