Hoo boy this is a big file! I came over from the other thread because your game seems cool! I think the barrier of entry from the fact that it is downloadable and multiple gigabytes might be the reason this game is having trouble getting traction. The graphics and menu on this game are really well done! I especially like how you stumble around in the dark before you find a light switch. I did a spoiler-free playthrough, and I was unable to make it out of the first room unfortunately. I think I kept on running out of time on the steam engine? The reset was disorienting and I thought that I bugged the game or something by picking up the shovel lmao. Anyways, I fiddled with the switch on the wall, put coal and paper in the steam engine and tried to light it with a match and nothing happened. The switch didn't seem to do anything either. Definitely seems like you got a cool game here, but I think you need to limit the amount of options available to the player until they get their bearings in the game!
Thank you for checking out!
Yes seems like there is not enough input for players in the first room. I think you are correct, the steam is running out in the first room too fast and there must be a few hints to help the player with what he supposed to do. Once first room learned, other areas is pretty easy)
The game is pretty good, I had to watch it since it has certain bugs like: The big Steam machine that is supposed to move the huge wine barrel, he moved it but afterwards both reset to the default position, the wine barrel it's still blocking the pathway and the huge steam machine has the steam container (probably a bug that doesn't transition properly from the animation to the end result??).
I needed to reset the level to try again and it worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't (at least you added a checkpoint, which is pretty nice, so you didn't frustate people completing the same thing over, thumbs up for that :D), another bug: you can interact the gear with the robot lying down and it would consume it. I didn't find any other bugs because I had enough with the wine barrel bug but still nice premise for the game, and i guess you intent to make it better so I hope seeing more quality content 😄👍.
Overall it's a impresive game because the amount of quality for 7 days is pretty good in my point of perspective and with good sound effects, and visuals makes it better, and talking about visuals, can you make it so it doesn't consume a lot of graphics resources😅.
Oh sorry for the bug, I saw the same on my girlfriend's PC already, but then tested on mine and nothing appeared. I took it for granted.
It is definitely to do with sequence resetting for no reason to the beginning (I suppose where walkthrough is good haha)
Hahaha, very good job finding the gear interaction on the lying robot hand, I wouldn't even think to try to put it there!
In fact, graphic resource consumption can be reduced by adding graphics settings. The next thing I will do for sure!
Big thank you for the nice review, it does help to understand the future potential!
Oof, first of all, I love your lighting, it adds so much to the gameplay!
My internet sucks so I couldnt download the file, but I watched your walkthrough! Another thing I like its your sound design, well done there! plus the camera movement feels so smooth and works perfectly for the game! I would like to know more about the story and universe of the game, so maybe you could think about adding some cinematics explaining the story?
Great work :D
There is definitely what I believe an intriguing story exists on the paper! I think you are very right and it is a key element to this type of game.
Would be awesome to squiz it in during the game jam, but no possible haha ;)
Above all, a big thank you, your review is very valuable!

Great game but maybe move that download size down a little? .-. Cool game overall though, good job

Thank you for the review! Yes moving the file size down would be great, no idea how, yet
The game didn't load for me.
Did it crash? Do you need any help with loading so far?
Check out the walkthrough ;)
I really liked it! Cool concept!
Thank you for review!
The first thing I would say is try bumping the file size down! Its such a big file to download (1.8GB!) The most impressive game jam game completed in 7 days! Although I am confused on the "Play Demo" button and I am guessing theres multiplayer? The graphics were really good, great job!
Thank you for your comments. Yes sorry, file size is way to big, I am using a lot of 2K assets. I brought it already from 5gb to 1.8 unpacked. Sadly don't think I can cut it even more, I am not 100 percent familiar how it can be done so far.
There is only a demo level so far available, I hope bringing more in future though
Multiplayer was an initial plan, it even had a second robot spawning and rolling around, but feels impossible for 7 days to polish it)
Added trailer! Check it out
Very cool game!
Thank you!
Having trouble downloading or solving puzzles? Let me know and I will help
I will review your game later! It's going to take some time to download 1.8gb. My internet is not really fast.
