Cool!

Great puzzles, cool spritework, loved it

Only issue I had was going through a portal kept the momentum, so I kept falling off the ledge when I came out of the portal.

Developer

Oh, first time I hear about that, could you let me know which level it was? Like level 10 maybe?

Submitted(+1)

Not sure which level it is, but it's this one here:

Walking to the left through the portal I kept falling, just had to slow down a bit before getting to the portal though so it was all good :)

Developer

Yes, I know the situation, it was planned like that, sorry haha :-)

I like the visuals and interesting gameplay.

Great game we kinda have a similar game.

The movement is kinda annoying because the player slides too much and that makes it hard to control the player.

Developer

Yes, we noticed that too, but to less time to make the small bot walk/run more precise. Will change that in the next update. Thank you for playing!

That was pretty cool! I really liked the art style and music, but maybe you could have explained how things worked more. I got to the second level and got one of my robots to the very right and there was this symbol that seemed to do nothing. I assume it did something, but I couldn't tell what, so I got stuck and had to quit. Despite that, great job with the game! (:

Developer

Yeah, we will update the game and tell more about the mechanics. Level 8 imo is the hardest. Keep on playing everything is solvable. Thank you for playing!

Love the art style,

Submitted(+1)

Nice art but controls are little bit wierd.

Check also my game.
if you are true ape.

nice art work and well thought game. congrats.

It gives me the same vibes as those mario maker levels where you have a buddy goomba. It really nails that arcadey feel.

Developer

Thank you, you nailed it too, as that was our attempt. Fail, repeat, solve, success. That is what games in my youth teached me. Thank you for your positive feedback :-)

Submitted(+1)

This is strongly following the theme, good job! Sliding movement is a bit annoying and jump is a bit unforgiving, but otherwise amazing!

Developer

Yes, we will polish the game controls, mostly for the small but fast bot soonest. Thank you for your positive feedback !

Really liked the art and the theme of the game! Felt like 2 forgotten robots in a lost factory. Felt very nice to play and I liked the box puzzles. I did manage to get into the floor at one point because a lift pushed me down in it :P Overall cool game and great potential!

  • Unrelated to the game itself but I really like your game studio’s splash screen (I refreshed the tab several times so I could see it)

  • I’m not a fan of how big the window size is (scrolling is a pain since I can’t scroll while my mouse is over the game window). I would prefer it to be smaller but with a fullscreen button added. I also can’t see the entire game at once so I ended up zooming out to about 80%

  • This is just a nitpick but the main menu’s title animation has some weird pixels near the bottom of some of the letters

  • I don’t know how but when I started, I had already switched character (I must have pressed left control by mistake) so I was really confused until I died

  • I found myself bumping my head a lot when jumping (I think the collider is a bit too wide)

  • It’s very easy to soft-lock yourself. For example, on the first level I accidentally blocked off the exit using a block

  • Sometimes it’s not very clear what the pressure plates do until you stand on them

  • It took me way too long to beat the first level because I didn’t realise the blocks could activate the pressure plates but it was very satisfying when I finally beat it

  • Related to the collider issue I mentioned earlier (with the head-bumping) but I think the player should be able to fall down in this scenario

  • Maybe I missed it in the first level but I don’t think the game explains that the other robot can use left shift to create a platform for the player (I used it for the beginning of level 2 but I only realised because I had misclicked at some point)

  • Perhaps I’m just bad but I found it really difficult. I wasn’t able to get passed level 2 and I didn’t understand what these squiggly tiles above me or the computer-like thing closer to the right-side of the level were

  • I really like the music. Despite it being a bit repetitive I didn’t get bored of it

  • I don’t know if this was intentional but it looks like the robots are dancing along to the music which is cute

  • The art style is really charming. I wish some things were more emphasised though (like how you made the player sprites use a contrasting color) such as the info signs in level 1

Wow, thank you for your detailed review. We are three guys and we had a lot of work to do all the days, yes, we will polish the game with more time, like when a bot gets pushed into the ceiling. I'am sorry for that glitch, but we are on it.

Yeah, the basic idea of the game was not to be beaten too easily, like many games today are too easy imo. Some details we can explain better in a future update, like the small bot can jump on top of the big bots shield.

The issue in the title screen is just happen in the web version, not the desktop version and we did not found out the solution in time.

You should not see the entire scene, that is why you can jump between the character with left control. It is more the way, the play should play around and learn the game his own way, make mistakes, learn out of it and get better, as level 9 and 10 needs full knowledge of everything.

When you push a block too early it is exactly like that what should happen, the player must restart the level, learn and repeat. And yes, it is the feeling what we want to create, when you solved the puzzle, you exactly described it yourself. It is uplifting, that is how games decades ago were created.

Hope you manage to see the outro and check out if the bots can manage to escape.

Very nice theme, the graphics are simple but get the message through easily. Great game overall!

I love the graphics! It seems a little buggy. I got my bots stuck and had to restart. Did you ever play Lost Vikings? Reminds me of that gameplay mechanic. Well done!

Mind giving my game a try?

Developer(+1)

Yes, the game is based on the Lost Vikings games :-) Would be cool to know where the bots got stucked, so we can fix it right away. Thank you

The very first game screen I failed to jump over the gap to get the card, and got somehow stuck next-to/on-top-of the platform bot but under the ceiling. Seemed my collider was jammed.

Submitted(+1)

Cool game! The graphics are great! The platforming is meh and the puzzles ramp up in difficulty too fast and are too long. But the core concept is great and cool! Great job!

Submitted(+1)

Such a great game! I really enjoyed it

Submitted(+1)

Good game!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool style, very strong theme

It is fun game the sound and sfx are good. The controls feel tight and good. The puzzle are clever and fun to solve. onIy one problem is the there should be a way to pull back blocks but it is up to you.

Developer(+1)

Yes, we wanted to make it a classic game, where the play has not too much of freedom, so he should think twice before his action. Thank you for your feedback :-)
