In what way does your game fit the theme?
You create copies of your main character. The copies rewind and then replay all your actions for the last 4 seconds. You use these copies to defend from waves of enemies in a tower defense game.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I made all the code myself and all the art myself. I did use a few free sound effects.

Nice game, I really like the idea. It can surely be expanded a lot, with different enemy types, and especially different player attacks. Oh and also other things to use the money for :) Like for buying better attacks and stuff.
Overall, cool game and idea.

I liked the tower defense idea. At the end suddenly appeared "you won" without a hint or something. I thought it is endless for the highscore. I could play longer with some variety of enemies or levels :)

Developer

Yeah that would be a good idea for me to add, thanks for the feedback!

I like the idea and the aesthetics! I missed some background music and the hitboxes were a bit off, but well done!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! yeah those would be some great ideas, ill take a look at the hitboxes.

A nice combination of TD with the theme. Definitely expandable, perhaps with tricky enemies and levels, or new tools for player. When combined with the rewind mechanic, player can make each copy to be very unique. Ooh, the possibility will be endless :)

Certainly will challenge player to be creative. Good job!

Developer

Thanks!! yeah i had a lot of ideas for how i could build on the idea, i think i will have to give some of them a shot after the jam and polish it up.

The idea is really great and creative! It is hard to tell when you hit an enemy, but nice game!

Developer

Thank you! i agree with that, would be a quick improvement.

Really cool game with an interesting idea!  Some effects signifying a hit would be a good possible improvement.

Developer

Thanks man! Yeah I agree with you on that.

The core idea is really solid.  I would have liked to see more of it. But I know how it is with time in game jams :D.  Anyway great job!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah i definitely hope to get a little further next time.

Very nice game! I really dig the core mechanic, it makes the gameplay so much more fun

Developer

Thank you!

yoooo we had a similar idea in the color scheme! Love the idea for a tower defense with this "rewind" mechanic. Check out our games aesthetics, we use almost the same color palette, the game boy colors.

Developer

Thanks man! Yeah I love that style so I will definitely have to give that a play. A rhythm game sounds really cool .

Nice little game! The art reminds me of gameboy games, so great job on that! Are there more levels? I seem to be reset after a certain amount of time. Would be great to indicate more what happened. Nice job overall!

Thanks for the feedback! That's the look I was going for. Yeah, that was the only level I was able to complete. I definitely had more levels, enemy types, and power ups planned but ran out of time. This was my first game I made after picking up unity fairly recently so I definitely have room for improvement.

Super cool that this is your first game, keep making them!!
