Very cool concept, I liked the dialog pop ups with the character portraits. I got a little confused at first that E would continuously start the dialog and space advanced it (i thought skip meant to back out entirely).

Thanks for trying out our game!

Thanks for the feedback. There is definitely some optimisations required with the dialogue manager :)

Interesting Game with an interesting concept. You should work a bit on Aesthetics and UI.

Nice game, cool design on the characters!

  • Pretty cool concept that between past & current time have different layout of each dungeon room
  • Character art was ok, but others definitely has a lot of room for improvement, especially the UI, tiles & walls
  • Thought that I was gonna fight the boss, but it was a straightforward cutscene sequence without gameplay there

Overall, good job on this fun interesting game, thanks for letting me play!

The quest-system and inventory was something I didnt see yet. Cool way to change the time!

Thanks Yambo Games for testing our game!
The inventory is on the right of the screen where the items are shown, that you have. You can toggle it with I. The quest system is in the backend and works as you talk to npcs, that items are activated for your quest or uses the items to trigger next events.

I really enjoyed plaing through this, I recognized that the mechanics need some fine tuning and the graphics need a bit of work, but for all selfmade stuff with walking animations and so it's pretty solid. It had a Zelda-esque chame to it. For critique: try working a little bit more on the visual effect during the timewarp transition, it's the main mechanic of your game, there is so much more potential in it. And the dialogue-system is a little weird, wenn you press E during chats it's starts all over again.

Thanks for trying our minigame^^ I think especially the difference between past and present isn't that great, that's mostly due to a lack of references. First time making something like this (designing). Thanks again for playing and I wanna try to make it better next time

Have a good day :D

Sure, as maybe a idea for an updated version of the two timelines. Try focusing on 1 tileset for oen fo the world to look at good as possible and then start by exchanging the colors in the palette from yellow to red or something like that. Should make a huge difference and from there you can then start implementing more subtle differences.
