Ranked from 77 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game emphasizes rewinding of objects: whether it be the spool of a kite or an electric coil. Also, the concept of restoring wind to an area ("re-winding") is theme-inspired.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes, all of the code and assets were made from scratch

I appreciate how you thought outside the box to link the theme of the jam to the game. The base idea is good, but i think some more improvements, like some other textures for the houses and a smother platforming would go a long way

Liked the idea of a kite that you have to rewind and I liked the music.

the controls felt a bit stiff but overall a great game!

Game was fun.

Love it! The theme was not quite the same, but the game was fun and entertaining.

Fun little puzzle game you have made here. The platforming could be a little smoother, but I still enjoyed it. Nice game!

ReWIND. What a great pun.

Game was actually surprisingly fun and relaxing to play. The kite's string/rope seemed a tad bit wonky, but that didn't really impact my gameplay experience at all.

Music is very nice, but loops a bit shortly.

Overall, great entry!

Controls kept me from playing further, wish you could move with the kite out

Loved the Idea and take on the theme, the little tune was nice and the whole game was unique. The only thing was the kite was a bit hard to control but that makes sense because the wind controls a kite :)

Super fun but I got stuck between a smoke pipe and the ground but still super fun

It's actually very original, I've never seen this before but I think it would be better if you control the kite with mouse or only holding WASD instead of having to tap it(maybe it would lose a little bit of the core gameplay idk) but it is a pretty solid game tho, try to polish it more and work on those collisions(kinda of buggy) after the jam ends. Nice job there!

Excellent project very engrossing .I had loads of fun until I ran until a bug (stuck behind a chimney :/ )

Interesting concept and nice mechanics.

Nice concept, I think this is a really clever take on the theme. However I couldn't progress past one point, where I could not jump high enough? The controls are also a little frustrating sometimes. Other than that, cool game.

Cool concept but the controls are a bit hard to grasp. Also I would have liked to be able to control the character and the kite at the same time. It breaks the flow alot that I can't

Great game but the kite can do some reworking.

A great game, with a cool concept !
Art and audio are made from scratch, which is a big 'YES' from me ! Controlling the kite could prove a bit hard, but nothing too hard. I had a blast !

Nice job! Interesting kite mechanic but could use more work. I love the cute ghost-like character!

Submitted(+1)

Interesting and very uniqe idea, although the game needs more polish.

nice job! this is cool but the bad kite controls really were the worst part of it
