In what way does your game fit the theme?
The main mechanic of the game is where you "rewind" the music to reverse the level, like reversing the direction of moving platforms, or changing an air cannon from "push" to "suck".
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code entirely by myself. Some of the art was made by me, but the majority of the art, sound, and music were found online.

Thank you so much for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it.
A bit too challenging for me. But who wants easy, right? Good job. Loved the music.
Could you please play and rate my game too?

Thank you for your feedback! Yes it's supposed to be challenging, I didn't want people to complete it in 5 minutes.
Sure thing, I'll check out your game
Please do. I value your input.
Thanks!
Nice game! I like the idea of the rewind music, but it was hard (also I'm not that good hahah ), and the music start to be repetitive. Also it uses a lot of memory and get slow on my computer. But overall I enjoyed planing and the idea of rewinding is great!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanic. It is supposed to be a challenging platformer after all.
Nice design on this one! It got hard quickly for me starting in level 3. Cool music!
Thank you, it's supposed to be challenging and take some effort
your game is awesome.
at first intro i thought it was just tapes
but after seeing the platforms and stuff. i liked it very much.
theme is very deeply involved in your game
I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
I think its a great game. It really firs the theme and the levels are really good. The only two problems (for me at leats) are, that I had to tell my antivirus, that this game is not a virus(hopefully ^^) and I had to get used to using the arrow keys, because i rarely use them. But besides that, its a great game jam entry! good job! (rated)
Thank you so much for your feedback.
The virus thing is a technical difficulty I probably can't solve right now, but I did think about implementing WASD controls as well so any player is comfortable using it. That'll have to be done after the jam ends. Glad you enjoyed it!
A very cool interpretation of the rewind theme! Fits so naturally in a platformer. Great job!
Your Windows 32-bit version doesn’t work - you probably forgot to include java distribution in it (judging by the size & errors).
yess in the install instructions section, I mentioned that Mac and windows 64x, the application is bundled with Java, so you can just run it, but in the 32x you need to install Java 8 yourself.
Thanks for the feedback! Greatly appreciated
Ugh, sorry, guess I’ve missed it in the instructions section, my fault.
Nice platformer! Great mechanic of rewinding the moving platforms! Good job overall!
Thank you so much!

Thanks for your feedback!
Well done, great idea!
Thank you!

I really enjoyed this game. It was straightforward and simple but at the same time challenging. The controls are very responsive and the rewind mechanic is cool. Managed to get stuck in some areas but overall it was a great game!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for your feedback!
I like how snappy and responsive the controls are, when combined with the interpretation of the theme it makes for a fun little game. I did get stuck on level 2 though. The bit right before the door.
Thank you for trying the game. It's designed to be a bit challenging
Really well made love how tight the controls are
Thank you so much!
I really like the changes you made! But I still got stuck at level 7....
Maybe I just suck at platformers. But I do think that you need to put in some more friction, and with level 7, you did something similar to the old level 3. You introduce a new element, right after a some challenge and you put the player in a tricky situation with it. There is very little telegraphing with the air thingies and every time you die, you need to redo all of the start of the level. After 10 minutes of doing stuff that quickly became busy work and dying in the end, I just gave up.
But I don't want to sound too negative, in the end I had a lot of fun, even after a couple of minutes on level 7, and I really like the simple mechanics and how you make them really challenging!
Sad to see the classical music go though...
Thanks man, glad you enjoyed it. And if you do want to try any of the other games by any chance, find the highestlevel.txt file in the folder and change it to whatever level you want. It will allow you to play it, just if you're curious. But anyway, thanks for the feedback and good luck!
Oh, I was wondering how to do it, I definitely will, thanks!
By the way, I forgot to say that it didn't run at first... Not a blank window, it automatically quit. I ended up running it in processing.
I really like the simple gameplay and graphics is also good. I also like the UI but when I press escape hoping for an pause menu that lets me go back to the main menu to choose level, it quits the game. You can implement a pause menu to further improve the UX of you game. The sound design really fits the game. I can say that it is a pretty descent and challenging game that is good for killing some time.
Thank you so much for the feedback. This is my first game jam and I am happy with the result, and seeing others enjoy it makes it so much better!
Quite a basic but still entertaining take on the theme, you implemented the concept of "Rewind" very well!
