The rewind mechanic is fantastic. The addition of the metal boxes and the platforms really adds heaps to the lvl design while still feeling really intuitive. I just wish that there was a way to playback what you recorded.

I love how intuitive this game is! The levels feel really thoughtful in a way I haven't seen from too many puzzle platformers on here. Also, I adore the swinging lights, I made that own game to hit them lol. The only thing I wish is that the rewind just keeps looping, it would help me think through puzzles more but also a pretty subjective ask.
The selective rewinding is a fun take on the theme, though there seemed to be a couple of physics problems regarding collisions between objects during the rewinding. Pretty cool game overall!
Game is fun.I found a bug when if you hold cassette while transition between levels,it puts rewind mode that it's not usable anymore.Still,I had fun playing the game.Good job!
If you want, you can try my game:
Great game! Only rewinding a selected box is a great twist on the theme!
this is easily the best game that i've played in this game jam, you've set the bar high here for sure. i'll try to add some criticism, so i'll be really picky and say perhaps give the movable objects a little more mass. that's literally all i can think of from a personal point of view, great game!
I really like the sound and the graphics, looks a bit like celeste. The puzzles are pretty tricky and designed nicely, and the idea is interesting and explored a lot though it is a bit unoriginal.
Only suggestion I have is maybe make the movement of the player a bit slower or make him a bit bigger because right now his movements can be a bit dizzying.
But yeah, great game!
Amazing game! Cool puzzles, nice graphics and audio, and fantastic incorporation of the theme! Though in the last level I pushed a brown box through a wall be accident...
Also, how did you make the lanterns? I was thinking about doing something like that in my game, but couldn't figure out how.
Really really sweet game. Everything was really nice: visual presentation, audio, gameplay. Congratulations!
Absolutely loved it! I spent longer than I care to admit on the Thanks for playing screen running into the lanterns lol. Also I'm pretty sure I didn't solve the last puzzle correctly, I'm too small brain but I accidentally got the blue box stuck in the level geometry which allowed me to cheese past it. Overally solid 5s in all categories from me.
Very good game, I like the graphics sound and the cassette concept for rewind.
Good job.. I will add on my collection to play it later.
My game is a casual game if you wanna rate is https://misterm.itch.io/mixtape-match ,thanks
