Movement awesome! However with some extra stuff game would be way more better!

For instance: Some particles when enemy dies. And add some action music background to keep your game interesting.

Overall: Lovely, Enjoying.

Developer

Hi! Thanks for playing the game. We are working on a few things that you mentioned and I'm glad you liked it. Hope you stick with us if we finish the game.

Definitely a lot of potential. The controls felt nice, although movement was a bit fast. I don't really see how this fits the theme at all other than the fact that you called the powers "dimensional holes", but still it was fun to play, good job! I'd appreciate it if you would check out my game too :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! We tried a different approach on the theme, but we ran out of time to explain why we these holes act the way they do(and not simply teleport you somewhere else for example). I hope you stick with us if we finish the game! Thank you very much!

This is a pretty kool game! I see a lot of potential for it, I hope it becomes something bigger in the future!

Developer

Thanks! We will continue to work on the game and hopefully launch it someday. Thank you for your time!

I think this was a neat project! The platforming felt very tight, the shooting felt satisfying (although the enemies could have more of a satisfying effect upon death), and the level wasn't too hard. Well, let me rephrase that. The individual level segments and challenges aren't too hard, but when you combine them without checkpoints it gets tough! I kept getting stuck on the way back after activating the blowers, where I needed to do my first horizontal jump. That kinda felt bad and after a lot of tries I unfortunately gave up. So checkpoints would be super appreciated! Also, I think the boss enemy could be a little more difficult to kill. I was really surprised when he only took a few hits, hehe. Other than those two things I think you did a really great job. Nice animations and sprites! Fun story and unique mechanics in my opinion. With a little tweaking this could be an even better game!

Thank you very much for your feedback Turtle!

We are working on elements you just mentioned. In the future we will post the complete version of first level... Hope we can have your feedback again :)

Developer

Thanks! We're already working to improve the game now that the one-week jam mayhem is over. Thanks for your time and opinion!

Nice graphic and character design, but:
1) Checkpoints needed definitely!
2) Bullets should be destroyed after passing the canvas, I killed the enemies from 10 meters away :D

Good advice, Amin. Thanks for playing it!

has nice sprites animations, the music is good and the mechanics is very interesting.

Still needs a bit of polish, and i found out that i can just elude the enemy without any contact... Great Work

Cool game :) Definitely could use a bit of work on the platofrmer aspect, but I definitely think it's got pizzazz :)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you liked it!

I really liked this premise, but I also think your game is frustrating.  Mostly because you're clearly going for an exploratory experience very much akin to games like Metroid or Cave Story, but the enemy damage and death system doesn't fit this direction.  I also thought the platforming was a bit slippery, and could have some baffling design decisions to them like falling down only to go into an acid pit.  Overall liked this, it has potential, but the holes theme isn't very prevelant and the game needs different approaches to damage and death,

Developer

Thank you for your feedback. I get what you mean. It has been a crazy week trying to find the right direction for the game, since the early concept was too big to be implemented in one week, so we kinda ran out of time and had to finish the game with much less than what we wanted and still make it challenging (leading us to make more difficult enemies and platform challenges along the way than what we initially expected). Still, I'm glad you liked it and thank you for your time!

I really liked the art and music, platforming was a bit difficult but seemed possible. Maybe some checkpoints could've helped but it's hard to say.

Developer

Thanks for your time and your feedback. Shame we ran out of time, otherwise we would have definitely added some checkpoints.

Good 2D art.

I see you used the Unity's 2D Grid feature to create your game. That's come in handy, don't it.

What can I say, except good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you!

Yes! It did come in handy! This feature helped a lot on creating the level as fast as possible.

Thanks for playing, friend!
