Amazing Graphics!

wow your game has best looking asteroids than mine xD i really like the space setting, it seems we had similar taste

Controls felt weird and jagged at first since i'm used to "no man's sky's" snappy WASD controls but once i got into it (controlling mostly with mouse like in "Freelancer"), it became easy. Collected 125 orange points. Didn't understood what to do with green spheres or for what purpose i had shooting though. Difference between modes was trivial, didn't felt any noticeable difficulty in chaos mode. 5 stars on visuals, 4 on audio (music could use better mastering), this quality of 3D in jam games always makes me go "wow, cool". Had mild fun with gameplay, would be more entertaining if it was more difficult. Music was okay.

Great gameplay and visuals! The ship controls smoothly and I loved the look of the black hole. Good choices on music, too. Entering the chaos mode for the first time after practicing in precision mode felt awesome. Aiming was very challenging, but it was so satisfying to hit your target from far away!

Criticisms/Suggestions:

I wished chaos mode had more feeling of danger. It's still very easy to dodge the black hole and the asteroids. You could have the ship or the asteroids move faster, or add some other threat. Should be careful balancing this one though because there's a chance to ruin the core fun.

Instructions only appear when you launch the game. It'd be better to have them available in-game, maybe in the pause menu.

I don't think the game mentions that the black hole affects your speed unless you get eaten by it. Another bit of info that could be more accessible.

Controls felt smooth responsive.

The Graphics quality is awesome.

Because of the control and graphics + camera movement, the gameplay is so enjoyable (dodging and shooting).

Loved the sounds too.

Only problem I had is to search the missed items.. Overall A awesome game and very good job on doing in 7 days.

First of all I love that Mirroring effect on the Black Hole it looks amazing and the flying mechanics are really amazing as well. Second of all damn that soundtrack slaps, really well done. Third of all I really liked that you can see more and more light rail on the right and left side of the screen of you get faster really cool detail. Fourth of all it's amazing how you move so fast and the camera still perfectly shows everything and makes it completely clear where you are and what you are doing. For improvements the only thing I found if you start from the Menu Screen you get the Blue Orb, but if you restart after you died you don't get it. Besides that amazing game over all incredible really well done :D

Awesome game!!! I felt like the Millenium Falcon when rolling the spaceship to dodge asteroids! =D

The graphics are excellent, and I had no difficulties seing and identifying the objects in stage. The menus are also very nice.

The controls are very good, I could control nicely the spaceship to dodge obstacles and to fire at the targets.

The musics are very nice. The one in Precise Mode was more relaxed, and in Chaos Mode had more adrenaline, suiting well to each type of play.

I found the game very innovative, and it matches well with the theme.

I only missed a menu showing my score after losing, just like when you win the game. I would like to see my performance even after loosing.
And since the area is big and it has a lot of holes, I missed some indicators to where they are. When you have only some missing, it's hard to find them. Perhaps the indicator could be an arrow or a radar in the HUD of the ship.

But I had a lot of fun with it! It felt like a sport game, and I think it would match very well with multiplayer.

Congratulations for the game!!!

The quality of the graphics and audio are amazing! This is really well polished, great job!

That's a well polished game. Great graphics and gameplay. The one little tweak i would recommend is that the camera is not parented to the ship. Well done

Developer

That’s right, the camera isn’t parented to the ship, good eye. Ran into some problems and that was the best fix I could find. Did you notice that during rolling the ship?

Great job on your game. Great visuals and audio.

great game, everything feels so polished, and also the visual looks so cool.

Wow, bud, that was super polished!! I would have liked a bit more inertia when I was turning, but it felt good! I never really found myself strafing left and right, I would have rather had those for the rolling tbqh.

It looks phenomenal and well in scope for a week long jam, seriously great work!

This game hits the balance of being challenging without being frustrating, which is hard to pull off! Graphics are cool, and the music really adds to the atmosphere

I spent alot of time on this one. Incredibly amazing game, i can only recommend. The graphics and audio are very very good. One of the gems of this gamejam  i can say. Hats off.

Amazing work with the graphics and overall polish with the game! I somehow did have trouble with the Left Click shooting, but that might just on my end. I had a green ball for the first time, but could never get it or shoot it again once I shot it, even after respawning. Still, I really appreciate the different sound tracks for the modes. Great work all around!

Thank you for playing! Yes, I keep hearing about that! It’s a very ethereal bug that I haven’t been able to recreate on my computer yet, but thank you for pointing it out. I’m going to have to do a deep dig for what’s going on there. Great job on Guesstalt, by the way.

Once I figured out what I was doing, that was a fun game. Nicely done!
