You beat me by 1!  #163 overall, my best category was #46 for innovation.

https://yosemitemark.itch.io/escape-horizon

I've already updated it with fixes for some of the more embarrassing bugs

Thanks for checking it out!

Thanks for your comments!  I'll be releasing an update after the judging period that allow you to control the SFX volume.  I did intend to allow players to place the holes mid-flight, but it's definitely a feature I went back and forth on.

Thanks!

Glad you liked it!

Lots of fun action, great graphics.  Very difficult!

Thanks for checking it out!

The art style and graphical effects are top-notch here. Sound would add a lot to the game.  You have a solid foundation for a game here, keep polishing it!

Nice implementation.  A card game seems (at least to me) quite challenging to pull off in the time frame of a game jam!

Your art work is great!  I love the cartoony style.  I like the music, I use the same artist in my games.

Nice graphics, fun game play.  Only thing I would add is an end condition!  It's kind of cool to get into the "zone" whacking the moles.

Thanks for checking it out!  I do have a fix for that embarrassing menu bug, which I will be uploading as soon as I'm allowed to at the end of the judging  period.

This game has the holy grail of game design - very simple mechanics that lead to fun and complex problems to solve.  The simple art style just adds to that feeling of the game.  Level design is top notch!

Thanks for the detailed feedback - it's always very valuable!  The game does have a feature where hitting the space bar immediately resets the ship, but it's not something  that's exposed via the UI.  Making features like this more intuitive is definitely a goal of mine .

Thank you!

This game has one of the most original concepts I've seen of all the games in the jam, and implements it very well!  Trying to master the controls is tough (in a good way!), and really mimics the challenge of learning those real-life puzzle games everyone played as a kid.

This game also has the best pun I've seen so far in the Jam.  There should be a category for it!

I really like the graphical style here.  The gameplay idea is really fun.

Thanks for checking my game out!

Thanks for the suggestions.  I do have a fix for the UI that will be released as soon as the judging period is over

Really nice graphics here, the footsteps sound very authentic

Thanks for checking it out. I did include a tutorial, but I think my UI issues made it hard to find.

Nice little platformer.  I liked the mechanic where you could ride your drill, I don't think I've seen that before.  Good job!

I never thought I would have fun cleaning the shower, until I played this game.  Good job!

Excellent innovation on this, a different take on Tetris!  I don't know if it is Unity being sluggish running WebGL, but I did find the movement to  be fiddly + unresponsive frequently.  Even still, this is one of the more fun games I've played this jam, good job!

Interesting idea, I've never seen a flute game before!  The tutorial was hard to follow, and like others I found having to repeatedly re-drill holes to be tedious.  The core concept of having the player play music is good though, and your background music was fun to listen to!

TY!

Lots of frenetic action, cute graphics, fun music.  Nice starting menu + cutscreens as well.  I did encounter a bug where my hammer stopped working at one point, though. Overall, a really nice game!

Thanks - I appreciate the comments!

Yep, I'm embarrassed by this :(.  What resolution do you run your screen at?  I want to make sure I cover everyone's setup when I fix this.

Thank you!

Thanks for checking it out!

Fun concept, I think you can take it far with some improvements (many times the hole isn't onscreen so I can't tell where I should be shooting, the angle of bounce off a wall should match the angle into the wall so you can pull off trick shots).  I actually liked the music!

Nice implementation of the concept!  I liked the feel of the controls, they seemed good to me.  Nice sound effects on the rolling ball, great music!

Lots of great things in this game - graphics, voice acting, sound, the concept.  Unfortunately, I also ran into the bug with dying on the third level, hopefully you guys will be able to fix that after the rating period is over.

Great visuals, nice sound (especially the way the tempo of the music increases with your speed). Relaxing + challenging at the same time.  I'd like to see a high score tracker!

Thanks for checking it out!

Very well-put together game, kept me involved the whole time I was playing it.  Sure hope I got it right!

Well done, the graphics are nice, and the ambient sounds really add to the environment.   I found the puzzles interesting, they force you to think outside the box.  I hope you plan on adding more levels!

Nice artwork here, I like the palette + the simple, clean design.  Puzzles are good, and the music sets a nice, relaxing mood.
