Hello all! I've rated a small amount of games (now over 50, very diverse set of games put in this forum thread!) but I've found that I've had a hard time finding newer ones to rate. I'd especially like to check out ones with lower ratings (basically anything below 25 ratings), as I think those ones should get more attention (also to get these kinds of games to the average rating, as to not lose marks overall!) Downloadable-only games are appreciated as well :) Also, if I don't respond in a while, I may be busy/asleep. On weekdays I probably won't be that quick on ratings, sorry! I'm busy with things so I only really have time in the evening.
I'll throw out some games that deserve more ratings as well, so all of you can check them out.
Here's Fall of the Mouse of Usher, a game where you need to steal food from the baker by launching yourself at it! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850781
Another game is Sweets Dream, a neat arcade-styled game where you need to collect cookies to stay alive in an endless runner situation! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850081
Lastly is Golden Biscuit Gacha, a game that features a gacha mechanic, but is actually mainly a neat little 3D Platformer! - https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3850463
Finally, if you are interested, our game (Music by the other person working on this game) is Messy Mouse Mayhem, an action/puzzle game where the gameplay swaps nearly every level! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3847890 If you have time time, a rating would be greatly appreciated.
I have a little backstory on my game (because it was kinda funny). At first the thought the other person was to make a videogame version of a card game called "1000", and after some thought... yeah that wasn't happening. I would have needed to make AI for a game I barely knew about, and then add some more videogame sauce to it (which wasn't happening). So, after more thought, an idea of a game where you would be swapped between top-down 2D and platformer 2D. After more adaptation I added several different mechanics, and it turned into more of a puzzle game, but I also threw in platforming and laser-shooting segments. My absolute biggest mistake was not speeding up the laser rotation speed (so you could aim the lasers to the correct spots) until a day after the game was out, I wish I thought of that sooner!
