Really interesting idea, I simply feel the controls are really hard to get the hang off, like the tutorial is fine for learning to control one but then you are instantly thrown to two and the whole thing changes because you now have the rope, I think some easier levels, or having the tutorial be with the two astronauts right off the bat could help.
I personally think it would be fun if you could give a big push to the other astronaut if they are really close to one another, I think that could provide some interesting movement into the game.
Also love that you added voice acting into the game, really impressive, and it's really good, it feels like a mission control communications.
Overall, nice idea, I hope that you are planning on working on this game further in the future, because if that's the case then I can't wait
Thanks Fezak for your kind and thoughtful words! I love the new movement mechanic you proposed! ๐
Interesting idea! I wish it had more tricky tasks requiring astronauts to use their rope. Good job!
Thank you, petch for playing our game! We initially wanted to add multiple levels with different challenges but then ran out of time. We might keep working on the game though ๐
It was very interesting and unusual, it's a very good game for the first time.

Thank you for your kind words Nefelibata! ๐
Sweet sweet concept, very cool narrator, clever idea. I think the difficulty curve could be a bit more balanced, and also this def needs some better implementation of the 2 players mechanic, right now it's kinda hard to figure out why you need 2 astronauts (and how to make them work together), but overall loved the vibes of this
Really appreciate the kind words and thoughtful feedback! ๐ We'll definitely take a look at balancing the difficulty (it wasn't eeasy in only one actual level). So glad you enjoyed the vibes and the narrator!
Nice one
Great implementation of the tether. A fun wee game that is a lot harder than it first seems. I've only managed to get one of the burgers so far, but am really wanting to get that 2nd. Watching the astronauts drift in the right direction and momentum slowly dropping is frustratingly good.
Thank you! We love hearing that you're determined to get that second burger! The challenge is part of the fun—glad you're enjoying the slow, strategic chaos!
so cute! and great to play a game that was a little different and unique
Thank you! We're so happy you enjoyed the uniqueness of the game. Glad it brought you some fun!
Very cute game! I loved the vibes, and the gameplay of steering your jetpacks while tethered to another astronaut was very creative. The voice over was a lot of fun, too. Great job!
Thank you so much! We're thrilled you enjoyed the vibes and the jetpack mechanics. Glad you had fun with the voice-over too!
Cute concept, enjoyed the vo too :) 81 secs!
I'm happy you've enjoyed playing the game. Impressive time, I think the best sofar. Can anyone beat it? :)
Nice atmosphere, and a lot of potential with this type of physics controling of the astronauts. Very fun!
i really loved the concept of this! it has a lot of potential. i like how you actually need to think and manage your resources. my suggestion is probably make it so the camera doesnt just focus on one astronaut, cuz its kinda hard to see when youre controlling the other guy
Glad you enjoyed our submission ๐จโ๐ and thanks for your feedback! We did have the camera switch to the active player but seems like that broke some time during the jam. Oh well - next time try to save more time for game testing, I guess ๐
Nice idea. Loved the game
Thanks for your feedback! Looks like you put a ton of effort into yours as well!
It was a fun, cute little game! My only real issue with it is you could kinda just ignore one of the two astronauts and entirely use one of them for transportation, although if you're minimizing time, that isn't optimal. Had a fun time, and the voiceover was clever!
Thanks for playing! Yeah, I also often only played with one guy. But it actually is easier using both :)
Nice! I like the voiceover, and the physics of floating in space, thethered together. It almost feels like a resource management game. Have you thought about making it multiplayer? You could fix the thrust to one direction from the astronaut, and allow players to rotate their astronaut to angle the thrust. Then one player could play with WASD and the other with the arrow keys.
The only thing that bothered me a little was that you fail when you run out of fuel - I was almost done, floating straight towards another fuel pickup when I was booted back to the main menu screen.
Very fun and chill little game overall, great work!
Happy you liked the game, thank you for you ideas! We were indeed thinking of your alternative thrust method but unfortunately run out of time before even trying to experiment with it ;)
Adding multiplayer for a future update sounds like a great idea!
played and rated! fun little game, the intro voice over was funny!
Thanks for playing Astrotauts. Well done on your own little puzzle game! ๐
It's a very simple, but fun concept - easy to learn, hard to master!
I also liked the voiceover a lot.
Thank you for playing our game!
I got 110, I think - if the seconds are the score ;-)
It was a little difficult, and I was a little let down that nothing happened when I grabbed the bruger ;-P
I liked the fact that the astronauts was connected, and the you could switch between them.
Great point about the feedback on the collectibles. Would have been a good addition :)
