Great first game! I don’t really have much to add that hasn’t already been commented on. Fiddle with numbers, try adding easing to the movement (not moving instantly), have your friends try it out and see what works and what doesn’t. Even though collecting all the coins doesn’t do anything, it’s nice you got a counter there at all, which is great, keep it up!

Great Job on getting your first game published! It's pretty solid. Adding a small plot or story line to begin the game and setting a goal for the player would be the next step towards the development of this game. Keep at it. This is a really great start.

Really cute game, If I were to give some feedback, I think the character would control way nicer if you added some coyote time (after you step of a ledge, you still have like half an second to jump), and maybe a bit more control to the jump, so that how long you press it for, determines how high you jump.

Also a bit more gradual difficulty curve would be nice, as the game starts with some really tight jumps. it's pretty easy to get stuck at the begging, stopping the players from exploring the game further.

But i'm just nitpicking here, for your first game it's really solid.

Thanks for the feedback, I made the begining little harder and didn't even realize! Definitely will work on this! Thanks for the feedback

Nice job getting your first game submitted! Only up from here, keep at it!

Anything you are missing from this game?

Submitted(+1)

That's a cute little game, with nice controls, for your first game it's great ! Well done :)

Developer

Anything that's missing you want to add?

Submitted

I have few suggestions:

-Maybe you could try to add a main menu with different levels.

-Also adding a clear finish point could be nice ( it could be a flag all the way on the top or something like that). And also say to the player that "he won" when he arrives at the top.

-And like someone else said already, maybe a timer for more challenges could be nice.

I hope those suggestions inspire you for future updates or games :)

Very great game just unclear with also no end goal

Developer

do you have some inspiritian what to add in further development?

Cute and simple game! Is this your first game?

Keep up the good work!

Developer(+1)

Yes, this is my first game. Thanks for the positive feedback

Cute little game with responsive controls, I can see it becoming a precision platformer. Nicely done!

Developer

Do you have any advices to further updates?

Submitted(+1)

More hazards (spikes, more falling chairs) and more obstacles (moving platforms). If you can add more moves like a dash/air-dash/wall slide, I think it can play a lot like Shovel Knight or Celeste.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, will add those on my to-do list

I managed to die a lot, but I really like platformers! The assets make the game pop. I do wish there were more falling chairs. Maybe if there were more, instead of needing memorize their locations. You can slow down their fall so players have a chance to react.

Developer(+1)

Once I realize how to trigger the fall if the player is on the certain point I'll add more traps, now I just timed the animations to play around the time you are there

I collected all the coins, it's a cool platform game, I wish there were more levels!

Developer(+1)

Planning on making more levels/dimensions and adding a timer and a death counter

Submitted

Nice game! I wish I could see how many coins I collected. Well done!

Developer

you can see that when you go up to the finish, will add it on screen with a timer and a death counter

Submitted

Nice usage of the assets, I felt like I know them from somewhere. I would have like there to be more save points, that's too difficult for me. And why chairs hurts me? haha

Developer

When a chair falls on you doesn't it hurt? haha

Submitted

sure, haha. but I was surprised to see that it still hurts also after it already fell

Developer(+1)

yeah....I'll figure it out sometime😅 There will be updates for sure!

Great art, not exactly sure how to win after collecting all 8 coins. God that's a funky musical vamp, very dissonant and uneven (2+3+3) and I'm kinda for it lol. I enjoyed having to platform around to collect all of the coins. I think you tinker with some other little platformer tricks to make it feel even better such as frame buffering for jumps and coyote time (named after Wile E himself)

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Should I do more on this or create a game from scratch?

Id say keep having a fiddle around in this project ^_^. Got the basis of some good movement there already, and  play to explore :3

The mac build is missing from download bundle.

Would love to play on my mac intel :)
