How does the game fit the theme?
You are a hungry student trying to make a bowl of ramen. In theory, nothing can go wrong with such a simple and easy meal to prepare. But this mundane task can end in some very interesting ways.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We made all of the assets from scratch except the font, some parts of the code were partially written by AI.

I couldn't get anything to combine, not sure if I was missing the obvious or if there was a bug of some kind. Love the art and the concept though, started getting hungry while trying to figure it out haha

I either ran into a bug or the UX needs some work. I enjoyed putting the rat on my head, but other than that I couldn't do anything past getting the water boiled. The combine button never combined anything for me, or gave me any feedback as to why. I tried ramen sandwiches, regular bowls of ramen, all the primary ingredients, just boiled water and ramen. I would have really enjoyed if you could put a book or a map in the bowl on the title screen to get a tutorial.

It's very fun to play and keep finding new recipes. The sound effects are very good. I think all the endings involving the rat are my favourite :3

I got jumpscared by the explosion 😭😭 I was trying to figure out the gameplay and how to open the ramen packaging. The music was pretty chill and quiet when I somehow decided to put my boiling water kettle into the microwave 😭 I exploded the kitchen 2 times and cause fire before finally...I made a sandwich. Truly a memorable experience!! The art is so cute too, I like it!

Would be great to know what I can interact with. I spent like half an hour trying to do anything. It was worth it though!

The colours and illustrations are really nice :D
Gameplay was a little difficult to grasp at first but then I had fun trying to cause as much mayhem as possible. Ended up making very few ramens lol, so that went wrong I guess.. Great job :)

The art in this game is super cute and the sound effect are nice.

I had a hard time trying to figure out the mechanics of the game. Had to read about gameplay in the description of the game in its page which made me leave the game for a bit. Loved the little rat detail.

That's a fun game that require you to be creative.

Sometimes I have trouble figuring out why I can or can't combine elements together, so maybe a list of hidden unlockable recipies with hints to guide the players that want to find them all could be a great addition (outside of the scope of the jam).

All in all, I had a fun time, well done!

Once you decide which items you want to use you click combine in the ramen bowl on the bottom of your screen, and then you right click to eat the item, or you can interact with different items in the room to get hidden endings that dont require you to eat a ramen bowl

This looks so nice, I'm really impressed with the visuals. It was a little hard to see what had an interaction on the screen - maybe outline it on hover so that you know it's clickable? - but I got there in the end, and really enjoyed all the little easter eggs and interactions. I ate the dry ramen packet, lol 🍜🍜

Thanks! As for the feedback that was the plan but time crunch had other ideas :D We did really put thought into all the endings so we are glad you enjoyed it!
