How does the game fit the theme?
Nothing can go wrong… right?
In Ctrl+Alt+Escape, you sit down at your computer, excited to launch the game you made for the latest game jam. But the moment you click on it, everything goes haywire. A virus takes over your system, locking you out and throwing you into an endless loop of security verifications and cryptic puzzles.

I love this game! I got stuck on the colour puzzle so i didn't get very far but I love everything about this game, the style, audio, visuals, theme :D Amazing job!

Nice idea! I enjoyed the clue finding gameplay, I think you did a good job of hiding them in different places so you had to explore, but not making them really annoying and difficult to find. Would like to see more exploration in this, and maybe some more lore (I saw you did some, but it could be expanded akin to games like Emily is Away). Really nice job!

I really liked the audio. I'm not sure if it was intentional for all the sprites to be blurry, but it would have been nice if it was a more solid pixel-art style, without the softening of the edges.

It was a nice puzzle game, with some very chill music. The audio was one of the best parts, and the jokes were funny too.

yeah i see know how i could have done it different my game size was 1280 x 720 and the smaller size of the pop ups because the computer screen is smaller then the scene the sprites we made has to be way smaller to fit inside the computer which made it blurry we had to add anit aliasing without it the game looked worse tbh , we were to deep into the game to make the changes to 1920 x 1080 and resize everything we had to stick with the blurier style

Interesting game. I like this kind of game where you need to mess around an old PC. After the comand prompt i don't know what i should do, it stope to appear pop ups. I think i closed the prompt window before it finished scaning.

Nice game, didn't understand what was going on at first, and didn't know I was supposed to cancel all of the ads to proceed.

Words were kinda hard to read, and screen is a bit too small for me.

Other than that I enjoyed the game and puzzles, fun game

A mystery puzzle game set inside an old desktop, what a wonderful concept for a game! All the UI design is excellent, you nailed the old Windows OS aesthetic really well.

And it's impressive how many detail you've managed to put into the game in just a week!
Overall amazing stuff!

The sound ties everything together perfectly and gives me a nostalgic old-school computer vibe. The gameplay and visuals are really engaging, and it seems like the developer put a lot of effort into every detail—everything turned out amazing! I love this game and could listen to its music on repeat.
