Nice work. Since, as far as I can tell, there is no “win” state, but I did manage to trigger the right collapse and jump back to safety.
Great job for a first every game jam entry! Now you have the basics down to expand on for your next one :)
wait..., I thought nothing could go wrong, not everything??? 😅
Adding sound effects could really up this & not be too much work, this could really fit a kid making exaggerated breaking sounds with their mouth when the player breaks the bridge
The scope of the game is obviously small, but I am a fan of the concept! I think it could be expanded with other situations and new inventive ways to fail. It's already very funny the moment you see the whole bridge collapsing. Find other stupid ways for it to fail, and I'm in!
I hope you enjoyed your game jam, welcome—this is a great first entry. Congratulations! 🎉
One simple element I would have added is some randomness in the bridge collapses to create the illusion of a possible chance to escape.
:D
Well done on submitting this game to the jam. I did enjoy failing! Perfect implementation of the theme and the game works just fine. Bonus points for using Godot ;)
An easy improvement would be to add some sounds and background music. Great job all in all!
Thank you!
Congratz on your first game jam entry!
This was actually very enjoyable for a 1 min game experience, and the hopelessness of it was pretty funny to me :)
I tried a few times, then I realized, it was futile XD
:D Thank you!
Classic first jam game :D
Kinda cute as that.
:D
The artstyle is great especially the forest looks really good. The message of the game is a bit depressing haha (If I played the game correctly). For a first ever game jam I think you did a good job
Thank you!
