Ranked from 26 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

How does the game fit the theme?
In the mini-games/tasks you cannot make mistakes or you get penalized very heavily, so nothing can go wrong in those. Also, in the lore/files and in the end of game sequence especially, there is talk of how nothing can go wrong or things will go poorly for people.

Besides the direct references to the theme, "Murph's" comes from Murphy's law and the atmosphere of the game is intense and haunting especially as things go wrong.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The cursor, font, and audio assets I didn't create. The CRT shader as well if that counts as an asset. All of these are credited in the in game credits (type "extras" into the console).

How many people worked on the game?

I really love the concept, i didnt manage to really dig the lore but i will come back to it to try getting deeper.
I'm not really familiar with all the cmd command but you made it accessible enouth so i could manage to navigate through the game without problems !
Good job, the game work very well look so good and is really polished.
Really impressive that this is your first jam game and from only one person too !

Also i'm not sure if its a bug but sometime minigames that where suppose to have only + (like 3 + and one 0) still made me lose progression on one of the 4 bar.

Really cool concept, and I liked the blend of different mechanics, though I found it hard to balance the minigames and exploring the lore (especially since I got tricky minesweeper puzzles a few times which had harsh penalties). This could be a really cool full game I think, consider continuing with it after the jam. Great job!

This can be too technical for non devs to play the game. As a dev myself i find it a bit too wordy to read everything. But i quickly get how to play all the mini games u have here. It's amazing how u managed to come up with this in just 1 week. It's fun but a pain to start if i were to summarized it. Great work nvrtheless!

Hello fellow Godot enjoyer ;) Really visually stunning console game you created here. I enjoyed the gameplay and the theme. Nice job! I'd appreciate if you checked out my submission as well. :)

That terminal emulator feels so complete I was legitimately falling into muscle memory - tab completion, cat, more, tail, etc. Really cool experience.

So stylish! Really amazing atmosphere and so cool you made traversing the directories really feel like an exploration!

This is so good! very polished and excellent presentation, really feels like you're at a terminal in Severance. Loved the minesweeper mini-game!

Amazing visual style and atmosphere (especially with the ambient sounds)! Very polished and quite a lot of fun, really well done!

I’m also a huge fan of the series, and I always wondered when we'd get a well-made game inspired by it. And here it is! Love the minimal, sterile vibe. It almost feels like I’m part of my own ‘innie’ experience. The game is really well polished. Great job!

They told me my innie loved it, but I cannot be sure...

Really enjoy the visuals, same style as i went with mine but with a different theme. feels clean and is easy to use once you understand the premise

the minigames feel perfectly suited to Severance! it's also really nice to start with the basics of keeping your stats up before you feel any pressure to dig deeper into the files (but also, the real charm other than the style seems to be the lore). coming back from the first time you fail a minigame is intense, so I feel like this was a really good balance. crazy to think this was developed in such a short time!

This is an awesomely polished game for a jam entry! Fantastic work, I really liked the sense of dread as my stats went down. Really slick and tied together well! The lore is buried quite deep, but what I saw was cool.

Wow what a stylish game! I love the ambient audio and how the energetic minigame music juxtaposes it. I love the way the game changes how it looks as your meters drop and I love the magnifying effect in the refine minigames. Gameplay-wise Murph's is pretty unremarkable and I don't have much to say about it. I will mention however that I didn't encounter a single bug in my time playing. I tried for a while to uncover some of the secret story stuff but I didn't get very far at all and walked away from the game knowing next to nothing about the lore which is a shame because if the lore is half as good as the game's style and theming, I'm sure I would've loved it. All that being said, I would highly recommend trying this game out.
