Got a high score of 8900, just a tiny bit before beating yours. Oh well. The game is very pretty, and I like that old cartoon + war theme a lot. It reminds me of Fallout Nukaworld in a way, and I think you did a very good job on that. The gameplay is simple and easy to understand, and it really makes a good high-score game too!
For a bit of comments, I'd say the game would be more enjoyable (as a high-score game) if the score were shown on the screen at all times. Currently, I need to guess what the score is, and it becomes discouraging when the final score is less than what the players expected it would be. I'd also say there is a strange bug where it's quite easy to "drag" a bullet back onto the screen. It mainly happens for the bullets from the rightmost cannon, and I suspect it has something to do with the mouse being outside the game window. Also, I get that the main point of the game is not letting any bullet touch the ground, but why does it also count as a gameover when a bullet touches another bullet? It caught me off guard the first time I encountered that.
Anyway, this is still a nice game! Keep up the good work!
Ovr game is very nice and idk if thats just me but if ure going for that old cartoony style then everything could be black and white! i had a glitch where the canon ball would teleport to the character idk why, also the game loop gets kinda boring fast without any modifiers or something! leaderboard would add a lot too. Great game tho!
Really great art style, it looks incredible! Gameplay is pretty fun, it gets nice and hectic as time goes on which I always like in these style of games. One issue I ran into a few times was my cursor would go out of the window while I had the left mouse clicked and I'd release it out there but then the game still thought I had it clicked down and the bomb kept following my mouse, not sure what to do about that but it happens kinda often since I was trying to drag them off the sides a lot of the time. Great work on this, it's fun!
the visual, music and design of the game was really nice, it had a loony tunes vibe. great job!
Visuals are outstanding, on point. Love the little sunny dude bouncing around and i did NOT expect to lose when the cannons collided lmao
Great job! Visuals and music is outstanding! This is deffinetly prittiest game I played so far! Incredibly charming. Gameplay is simple, little difficult, but after I realized I can move more bombs at once, I was able to play for a little longer. But style, charm and overall feeling are not matched!

This game was fun! I really like the old cartoon artstyle, it reminds me a little of Cuphead. It was a little tough, but I still really enjoyed it! The game fits the theme pretty well, too!
👉Just finished the game and honestly, I love the cartoon/old film style. It fits perfectly with the theme, especially with the contrast between the bright yellow sun, just casually walking and reading, and the three dark cannons shooting at it. The sound effects and music are spot on, and of course, the art is great. The mechanics are simple but innovative, and we love to see that. To top it off, the animation man, you really nailed it ! Simple, but it works so well for me.
👉One thing though, the end screen isn’t exactly centered. Also, why add the mechanic where the game ends if the two balls touch ? Was that a personal choice ? Oh, and I beat your score, haha. 👍

Nice score! Thank you for all of the feedback, I really appreciate the time you spent on reviewing. The bombs touching was in fact a personal choice (in fact it was kind of a pain to add). I thought it would add another level of strategy but it seems to have only made the game more confusing especially due to the game's simplicity. I'm going to be honest, my UI system was a bit of a mess and I didn't have the patience to clean it up, (I may update it after the jam however). Thank you again for playing. I will have to return the favor to you!
The graphics are fantastic and the mechanic is original
I love the style, but I am a sucker for these old cartoony looks like cuphead or old disney stuff. I first needed some time until I understood that you could DRAG THEM BIG CANONBALLS away, after that I had alot of fun playing it. Maybe I will return and beat your high score!
Also the music is pretty fun and Catchy :) Well done!
This is fantastic, I love the art direction and the music is excellent. This is a great entry, nice work!
Really simple and fun, when the chaos gets ramped up you feel thankful for the simplicity so you can focus on one task. My greediness to get every safe made me miss out on my biggest score but it kept my wanting to try again.
