How does your game fit the theme?
I think it fits the theme because you don't know whet's behind the door before you enter it (you don't know the next level because their styles are all different)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Most of the code I wrote myself (the 3 person movement code I wrote is based from "Dave / GameDevelopment" )

And the Art is made by "Kenney/Kenney.nl"

Neat game, really like the style. Tho the movement was a bit floaty for such a precise platformer, and the hitboxes for some of the objects were oddly shaped so the character stayed in the falling animation instead of landing. Good job tho!

Wasn't able to finish the third level, as I couldn't jump high enough to go on top of the tree branch :( I like the graphics a lot! The physics on the first level were a little janky and the objects were a little slippery, but I liked the second level a lot! Something that would help though is if the pipe sections were color coded to match the buttons to make it easier to tell which button rotates which pipe.  Overall, good work!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game :)

Yeah I agree. It might have been better to color the buttons and pipes but didn't really think about it since it was like a really small part in the puzzle. And about the third level, I don't know if you tried but jumping in places or in a short distance increases your jump.

I fell off the 1st platform and fell forever!

I like the graphic style though, it reminds me of Wii-mojis.

Developer

Thanks for playing the game.

Yeah, now that you mentioned it I forgot to add collider so that doesn't happen. But you can still reset the level when pressing R. I mentioned that in the description

hey this game looks great it has like the the wii style of a game. It's really good and I like your idea. I hope you like my game too.

Nice look, and like the door animation (even if it was a smidge long to me). I struggled with the physics 😅 They seem very slippery. I agree with some others the sounds may have been nice.

Regardless, you finished! And that's no small feat! Good job! Keep at it!

Thank you for playing the game :)

Yeah, I made the door transition in script and I didn't have the chance to test the game on others devices so I wasn't sure if all devices had the same time transition. And yeah I agree not the best physics since I had to fix already a lot of problems, and if I tried to fix every single one I probably wouldn't have enough time to finish the game lol.

Yea, I totally get that! I was cramming at the end myself 😅

Harder than Minecraft jump and runs XD Love the change of view, but the door to level 4 didn't work, so is there no ending?

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game :)

After the platformer level the next door leads to a screen with thanks message. So don't worry you didn't miss much

Nice animations and visuals :)

After multiple tries i still did not make it past level 1 :')

Developer

Thank you for playing the game :)

I knew it might be kinda hard for some people but didn't know it would turn out that hard. It seems couple of people are struggling. Maybe because I play tested it a lot of times I got used to the physics so It didn't seem that hard to me.

The idea is pretty unique, but sound would have made a world of difference. Also I was very impressed by the transitions through the doors. Those were really cool!

Developer

Thank you for playing the game :)

Yeah, I agree but doing a lot of different movements for every style took way too much more of my time then I thought and after fixing them I didn't really have the time to add those. If I had an hour or two more I would have probably add them but I guess it's just my bad time management.

Really janky physics, couldnt move past the pipe level, my guy just decided to go to sleep and died :(

Cool assets.

Developer

Rip to the guy. Did the guy die after you rotated the pipes correctly. Maybe restarting would have helped if you didn't try that.

Anyway thank you for playing the game :)

that first level was rage inducing! its a good game nonetheless. bit of sound would have been nice

Developer

Thanks for playing the game :)

Yeah lol, sound would have been nice but it was tight schedule. Also would have made the first level longer but I was worried people might rage quit before trying the other ones :P

Nice visuals and animations, but the controls are a little difficult to use.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing.

And yeah, I agree. Since I tried to mix three different styles it took a lot of time to make all the different movements and a lot of problems occurred which I couldn't really fix them all in the time given.

I liked that each level was a different style of game, which is a lot to do for a game jam! The controls could use some polish though, I couldn't get past the third level because I got stuck on the side of the platforms.

Developer

Thanks for playing :)

Yeah I totally agree. Had problem with getting stuck on side of walls/platforms but didn't have enough time to fix it. The best way is to not get to close to platforms when you want to jump on them. Jumping in space increases the jump boost so that might help.
