Feels like I accidentally switched the channel to some kind of gameshow where the host is getting pranked out of his mind. The premise is funny, the voice acting is great, the gameplay is fun, and the theme is well used! My only gripe is that you have to use the mouse to click and go to the next level, I would get it if the door section also used the mouse but I just go straight back to keyboard for that section anyway, it's really a small nitpick. Great entry!

How does your game fit the theme?
A Dracula Dinosaur asks you to open three doors. What's behind the doors? It's a surprise!
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code, created the visuals and audio from scratch. However, all of the music from the game is from a licensed asset pack.

Haha, I like your description of the host getting pranked out of his mind. Haha, I totally hear you about the mouse/next level issue. I needed a little bit more time to make that work. I originally wanted it to be a key press, but the way I had things set up, everytime you pressed the key to fire the bee smoker, you skipped to the next level. It was chaos. I just turned that off. In future updates, I'll figure out the keypress thing on the next level. Thanks for checking out my game, so happy you liked it!
I'm glad you liked my game! If you are interested in check out how I made it, I just spent a couple weeks putting together this dev log video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnW-dioKWLUThis game is so awesome. Seriously, I've never seen something like this. That was so cool. My roommate and I were laughing so hard. I will say the levels got a bit repetitive in the second half. The most interesting part was the claymation aesthetic and the dialogue, and this was more than enough to keep me playing. Please make more stuff like this!!
Mission accomplished. If I can make someone laugh that makes me happy. Glad you enjoyed the game. I'm usually an animator and a visual effects person, so the game design stuff is all new to me, I would have liked to have lots of different looks to the maze levels, and maybe things like speed boost shoes, I just didn't have the time/experience. But I still had lots of fun making this, and I'm glad people are enjoying it. Thanks for checking my game out. Give me a follow, maybe my next game jam game will be just as goofy!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnW-dioKWLUI love the claymation! There needs to be more claymation, games or otherwise, in the world. I took a brief look at the other game you have listed, and I gotta say I really hope you continue to make games with this IRL prop style.
Using the bee smoke thing to optimally dodge bees was pretty satisfying. Otherwise, the gameplay is rather simple, but it's totalyl carried on the back of the great and unique presentation!
Very fun! I really like that you went with the "Pick a door gameshow" vibes and whatever you get from picking a door leads into the level. I do wish it was a bit more random and there were different enemies or level elements that were behind the doors, but that's for something larger than the scope of a week-long game jam.
The clay assets were amazing and great job on the voice acting, it had me giggling and sounded natural for your character.
Very creative and a fun idea, great job!
Thank you for your kind words! I totally hear you. I want to do lots of different stuff in the maze levels. I want different power ups and hazards in the maze levels. I think maybe I would hint to the player that maybe there would be other kinds of enemies, but then I would surprise the player with just more bees. It's always bees! Anyway, thank you for checking out my game!
One of the more fun games I've played this jam! Nailed the theme. The gameshow/host vibe worked out great. I especially loved the bee keeper clothes the dino gets as addons. I liked how the bees couldn't fly over the blocks but they could fly over the gaps. That made for some really interesting chase moments. The steam attack was brilliant, rewarded you for timing and positioning the steam just right. The length and scope of the game seems like a sweet spot. I don't have much constructive to say, maybe the pool/water art could have used a lil something, it kinda stuck out, but the rest of the art looked great. Nice work, very impressive!
In terms of creativity, personality and innovation you've really killed it!! The clay work (I don't really know what to call it) is well achieved. The dinosaur looks great, really classy, an so do the levels! I liked finding beekeeping stuff behind doors and then using them to escape bees more easily. It made for good progression. The voiceover, music, and SFX all sound great.
It was an incredibly fun experience!
I absolutely loved the art and the sound effects! The entire game was super cute, and I loved the voiceovers! What a nice, lovely game :-)!
I LOVED the Claymation art would love to know how you did that! And the game WAS hilarious! I got to level 4 and was like let me guess i open a door and there will be bees :D
It's healthpoints, It's boots, it's BEES. This simple game was really funny to play with the animations and the narration!
An actual claymation in a video game with a funny dinosaur narrative, this is why I do gamejams
Great game tho, had a lot of fun!
Really didn't expect such a quality claymation to exist in video games, you sir/ma'am, have proved me wrong.
The game itself is simple with the presenter being the icing on the cake for being there <3
Well done!
Really lovely game, I chuckled all the way to the end of the game. The gameplay is simple, but enough to keep you playing, but the reason to play is to here the presenter and see what else you get from behind the door.
Congrats.
Everything about this game was a new experience for me. I never ever in my life thought I would play a claymation style game set in a haunted theater ran by a vampire dinosaur while running away from bees. while the gameplay itself is simple, I enjoyed myself way more than I thought I would
Ahhh this is so cute!!! I love that you went with a clay artstyle, makes me feel like a little kid browsing through Flash game websites all over again. Great job!
