Good job! Will come and play it more thoroughly, trying to get through a basic test run and at least give it a try! Trying to get to everyone I can!

4/5 After going through again! Best of luck!
Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. I am going through and re-saving yours given my browser kept your rating saved data on my end...but it looks like I lost all 73 reviews and ratings from my end.... :( best of luck to you in the Jam
Sorry for the inconvenience if you have a chance to rate/re-rate
very solid game with nice mechanic ,it was a bit hard to understand at first but it was managable once i got a grip of the main mechanic, though a double domino piece would happen when i draw a bit too often the gameplay is still quite fair. music and style give it an old-school vibe and atmosphere that is pleasing to play in even if ost is a bit annoying at a time. ui and interface is great though could've been explained more like player and opponent's hand or fast travel pin that still stack together sometime. overall its a great and (questionably)balanced card game
I think this is a very well designed game. It feels very complicated at first but tutorial is pretty explanatory for learning the rules of the game. I like the D&D style story telling. The game board is very well designed. This game gave me a very strong MS DOS 90's game vibe, the music the art all of it. You did a fantastic job in the art design. The magic cards, game board, opponents hands everything looks great.
I haven't played too many of these kind of games like deck builders etc. but i know that in these games, there's always this randomness. Some things are determined by pure luck. This game have the same characteristic and that's something i don't particularly like. It plays a great role in this game too. It gets especially annoying when the luck is greatly in favour of your opponent.
It's a very nice mechanic that every boss has a different skill which makes them distinctive. It is fun to play this game, it makes you think and strategize like chess or poker. It's hard to see games like these in game jams so this game is definitely worthy of praise. Also the genre and theme of the game is very unique too. If you impove and polish it further, i think this could be a very succesfull game. Great job and good luck!
Too complicated tutorial just to start playing, really nothing motivates to learn stuff when the opponent just steals your dominos and casts fireballs every time i try to do something. But at the same time, project that so much complex already have equal amount of potential in it, sadly the barrier of entry is too high in my opinion(
Very interesting concept, I was a bit lost and lost very fast, but I can still see that this is a very good game. Plays very well, I like the art style and the sounds and music feel very good with the crunchy sound. However, the sound was crackling which made it a bit annoying to play.
Good concept, but it's confusing, I don't understand why the boss keeps taking my pieces, and it's strange to always go to the middle to get more pieces, the concept is good but needs more polished design
This was super interesting. It took some time to pick up and learn how to play; I’m still unsure why there were some turns where I’d draw a new domino using the central portal, and it would immediately disappear.
The exchange mechanic was really well done. There would be some cool turns where I’d see the enemy preparing for a specific spell, but I’d be able to play a domino on a chaos well and swap their spells, preventing their turn from being useful. Really cool!
I don't know, it got an interesting concept, but I just don't think it's actually fun to play.
I like it when old fashion games like domino gets combined with modern game mechanics, well done. The chilling music during the game play fits perfect and after the first round I enjoyed the game.
He had to sit across from me, dominating the board. I tried to arrange my dominos and could tell my fireball stung, but I could not defeat the power that is the master. Nice use of the theme!
This took me a couple rounds to get the hang of but I am glad I stuck it out, there is a really cool game system here! Nice work!
This is probably the most in-depth game I've played so far! Kudos for going big with the idea! The visuals were great and I enjoyed the atmosphere, I wish there was a little more clarity on what the enemy is doing and what your deck looks like! Keep up the great work!
Thanks so much! I think clarity will definitely have to be one of our focuses for when we resume work on the game. I have watched a couple of people play it even after the jam ended and it was really common for them to completely miss the enemy’s power and the cards they played, which were things we as people who had designed them couldn’t really miss in our own testing.
This seems like a very deep game with a lot of interesting systems with very polished looking, old school graphics. But for a lot of the gameplay, I was confused why things were happening, why tiles disappeared, or cards changed. Giving the player a better sense of cause and effect around the actions taking place on the board will go a long way towards giving them a sense of fun and accomplishment. But overall great work, and I hope you continue to improve it!
I'm all for the table top gameplay. Works really nicely with the boss rush theme too. The gameplay was kinda hard to get a hang of at first. I wish there was a more hands on tutorial not just text. Once I did get the hang of it, it was quite engaging to play.
I like the variety of spells. The integration of dominos into a card game is very unique to me. The whole idea with swapping cards was very interesting, although it felt somewhat random, like I didn't have a particularly strategic way to take advantage of it.
Overall a cool entry.
Thanks a lot for your feedback! I totally agree with you about the tutorial, it also was an issue during testing, but we kinda ran out of time there. I think the swapping cards as a strategic element is a lot more present during the early game where it happens less often, but later it does become a bit chaotic.
Hope you enjoyed it!
Awesome game. i loved every single bit! i liked the variety of possibilities in this game! really good! navigation was a bit clunky but over all it was a real pleasure to dive into this little domino mazes to get thr right "crystals". Well done!
Interesting realisation of boss rush theme. I lie this like domino game. Nice wizard and magic settings
