I really like the trail the gets left behind. The music and story are fun. I would try to balance how much jellyfish spawn when you're swimming slowly because it's almost impossible to move around them while on the other hand there's like one or two when you're going fast. Otherwise great work! Keep it up!

Yeah, that's great. Thanks, I will keep it in mind.

The Trail and particle effects were really great. I loved the music, gave me a feel of the mysterious ocean. I think some sound would have been nice. The controls were tight and fun. I really had a great time playing this. Thanks for the game!!

I would really appreciate it if you could play and rate my game as well. Thanks!!!

Developer

Yeah thanks a lot, give me a second and I will rate your game. I already like the art.

I loved the particle effects and trails, but the lack of sound effects was a bummer. I also feel the game would've been better if it has aquatic ambiance instead of that music. I'm going to be honest, the music was painful, it didn't match the game at all, and it didn't loop properly either. Other than the sound problems, I liked your game.

Yeah, I do feel like that are some helpful tips. I have heard some different opinions so far about the music, however weird it might sound, but I will still keep it in mind. It's all these lessons that make gamejams so great I think, although what do I know? This is the first time I've done one.

Nice Game! I liked the trails from the squid and the controls felt very squidlike!!

The game feels really nice to play and i love the trail behind the squid

the hitbox does feel a bit too big but other than that great game!

Developer(+1)

Yup hitboxes are 100% getting a fix after the gamejam. So it will feel like you barely escaped.

I was curious about this game because of the discord's screnshoots.

The idea is good and the game fun.

The colliders are a bit too big, I often died while the squid wasn't touching a jellyfish. Generally speaking it's better to make the collisions in favor of the player in order to avoid frustration.

The controls are very good and felt "squid like", well done! Add a timer to prevent boost spamming and it would be perfect!

That would be cool if you rate me back!

Developer

Thanks, I think they were good tips. I will check out your game aswel.

Very fun game! It was a little hard, but I got it at the end. The visuals are really nice, like the jellyfish and the squid's trails.

Developer

Yeah, your words were quite inspiring, I might actually update the game sometime.

Really cool cutscene at the first. Gameplay and the idea was new and exciting. I also loved the music.

Developer

Thank you!
