The art style and animation is beyond adorable. Had a hard time finding the bells but collecting the acorn was so satisfying for some reason so I kept busy doing so. All in all, good job!

THE GOOD PARTS
-
The art style is great! I greatly enjoyed my time with this game, particularly around the art style. It looks REALLY good and it’s satisfying to explore the game area for the most part.
-
It’s a straightforward experience. Start the game, ring the bells, go back home. It’s that simple, and just like that you’re enjoying a neat jam entry.
-
I really enjoyed the humor of the game. Some jokes actually made the smile, which is great.
THE BAD PARTS
-
Interaction is discouraged. The game’s objectives collide when you’re playing and the timer is going down, but you want to talk to the other habitants of the world; it was a bummer to find out that the timer doesn’t stop when you’re talking to the other animals because it kinda discourages spending time with them and instead encourages scouting the area to find the bells.

It’s not exactly easy to find the bells at first. On my first playthrough I had a hard time finding the bells; it led to a faint feeling of frustration because I kept wandering around into the walls of the area. Later on I learned that the grass path serves as a guide to the bells and if you stick to it, you’ll get to them… I think commenting on this would make for a less bumpy ride when attempting to get all the bells.
CONCLUSION
This is a good jam entry. Play around with the other characters and don’t worry too much about the daily loops because you have as many tries as you need and you’ll enjoy this a lot more; go, explore, and experiment. And if you want to capture the bells, stay near the grass!
Great work!
The game kind of brought back memories of Hyrule field at night in Ocarina of Time when the stalchildren would chase you around. I also like the art on the background characters and how their personalities were a bit standoffish.
Hey everyone! Thank you all for the kind words and feedback! We have plans to work more on this game just cause we really fell in love with it while making it. We wanna do some weird things with it like incorporating different art styles, puzzles, and play around with possible different mechanics, so if you have any ideas or thoughts for what we could do with it, let us know! And again, thanks so much for even looking and playing, we truly appreciate every comment and rating!
Loved the artstyle and the writing. It was a very charming game! Maybe having the camera a bit more zoomed out would help with navigation though.
Overall I really liked it, great job!
Very very cute. I actaully found it quite stressful being chased by rocks.
Need an alternate key to shift for talking because every5 times i hit the shift key windows asks if i want to turn on sticky keys D:
I really liked the animations in the game. I found a lot of acorns, but the camera view felt quite restricted and I was unable to find all the bells.
The music and sound was really charming and pleasant to listen to. The rocks were absolutely terrifying! I think it was the sound they made.
A lovely little game.
Very charming game! Awesome casual atmosphere. You could make a whole world flushed out around Dr. Pig and I want to live in it.
The game was definitely cute and well done and I liked the RPG aspects of it. The characters were all great and moving around felt pretty good.
I wanted to read all the diallage but the text scroll was kind of slow. Also, the areas near the edges of the map were a bit sparse, they could probably be brought in a bit to get rid of some of the empty space.
The artwork and overall design are super cute! I really like the little details like the diploma and the various animal dialog
I did have some trouble navigating. It felt super easy to get lost while walking in mostly plain white areas. Also, do the acorns do anything?
Overall gameplay felt good, just could use some polish and maybe a mini map or something
Well done!
Thank you so much! It was a bunch of fun (but also a lot of writing) to add the details, so I'm always happy when someone mentions they enjoyed them :) Definitely agree about the getting lost bit, wanted to put in a mini-map but it wasn't incredibly cooperative with me.
As for the acorns, they're another "we had such lofty goals" thing that we converted into the point system. Initially we had wanted to use them for either a sidequest, or as a tradeable item to get cute hats or something, but we just didn't have the time to figure out how to make that not break.
We hope to keep working on this in the future, so thank you for the helpful input! :)
1. Art real nice
2. Music real nice
3. Rock mean :(
4. Pig thick
Gorgeous art! You guys know how to swing a pen. I also like the music and sound effects - everything fits together so well. The only thing I didn't like: The bunny was calling me "bacon" - I am taking this very personally! ;-)
Thanks for the kind words! Some tricks include using the dash (spacebar) strategically and using a day or two for reconnaissance so you know where all the bells are. Then you can focus on going bell-to-bell. My best loop time is 0:59, and I think a time around 0:55 is achievable. I have an unfair advantage though since I made the game :)
The hand painted art was alsome. Also the music fits perfectly to that pig xD... I'm not even sure why.
