Loved it, very relaxing and the visuals are beautiful. I would love to play it on a mobile device.

Haha, nice interpretation of the theme. Really nice to play with some kind of pattern you know from those platform puzzlers but with a nice, fresh touch.

nice work!

Very cute game!

I think the overall aesthetic fit well with the overall difficulty of the puzzles, which made for a relaxing casual puzzle game. It would be great to see this expanded upon with more levels and maybe some other simple mechanics in addition to the gates and switches to add some variety.

Also, the ability to toggle between a top-down and isometric view was a really smart addition.

Well done!

Just a really well executed puzzler would love to play this in down time on my phone.

Hey, everybody!

Apologies for not returning the review to everyone so far; I’ve been having a catastrophic weekend and I haven’t been able to play your games and review them all.

I promise that I’ll review them before the voting period ends.

Thank you all for taking the time to play and review my game! I’m deeply grateful!

Excellent puzzler game. Levels are well laid out, good instructions  and interesting puzzles. I also like the different views.

I really like this game! simple but fun! the top-down and isometric view switch is very helpful. Maybe it would be nice to be able to move back by press the related key but overall a great game! I really like the shacking of the body when he moves

Yeah, I think the biggest complaint I have is that I want more but there isn't more? It might be fun to see what other ways you can up the difficulty, like playing with more three dimensional space potentially? Maybe not, but I'm exciting to see what you do with it!

Really fun and hilarious to play! I immediately thought of this long dog from Tom and Jerry.

However I thought originality was a bit lacking as there are many games and minigames with this kind of "step on a square only once" mechanic (like the 8th gym in Pokemon Emerald). Perhaps a new twist could be added to it if you're updating this for the future.

Agreed with MidnightBaker an endless mode and some UI polish would make this a super fun mobile game to mess around on

Really cute game with a clever mechanic. Adding some more levels (or maybe even procedurally generated levels for endless mode) and this would be a great casual mobile game

Super love this one! Pretty much everything is great, sound effects are nice, movement looks and feels great, the puzzles are fun and cool, and the perspective switching really helps a lot, super nice touch. Feel like the game could've used some music or subtle ambiance, but a very very great time.

Yeah, I had the intention of adding some particle effects around to make the levels feel more dynamic. Some audio ambiance too! But sadly, I ran out of time and ended up wrapping up the game without it.

I really enjoyed this game!! Super fun and each level put a smile on my face. I recommend expanding it and increasing the challenge of some of these existing levels! One thing I had trouble with was realizing one or two puzzles almost required the top-down view to navigate, but I don't recall those buttons being explained so I didn't actually realize they were clickable for a little bit! I wonder what kind of music would fit this game - let me know if you need a musician! Great stuff!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for taking the time to try out my game! I left a review on yours too!

The buttons were only clickable to support mobile devices; in the web game, the T button toggles the camera angle. I’m glad you were able to complete it, though!

And yeah, I hadn’t thought a lot about the music for the game but I’ll definitely reach out if I need some tunes! Thank you!

Very Cool, movement was a bit confusing at first but then its just so neat experience, great job Zcyon :D

Great little game! The moving directions were a bit confusing at first but after some experimentation and finally tilting my keyboard a bit my little monke brain was able to handle the cute lil dog without much trouble.

For a Jam game this is really well executed, from functionality and graphics to sound, the little "wof woff"! at the end of every level filled my heart with joy <3, i know the lack of music is something really noticeable but the game feel great as it is right now so adding music would only make a great experience even better.

The controls albeit a little bit hard to grasp at frist, are really simple and thats great, the change of perspective key is a bit confusing , i thought it was two keys, T and I, but it was only the first the one that worked to change back and forth, i feel like having this mechanic assigned to the arrow keys (a la fez) would have been great.

Level design was great, the puzzle dificulty keept increasing, never reaching a really high point but i had fun completing every level, i feel some mechanics could have been used more, the pressure plates and door were a nice addition but they present a new design element and maybe implementing it in more levels would have taken too much time for a jam of this lenght so that's understandable, i could see portals being present too, maybe some verticality, to tackle the level size limitation.

Art was top notch! and for that i can forgive the use of a third color, the yellow really pops and is really well used.

Already said enough about sound so id say all in all a great game! liked it a lot! Would love to see a mobile release in the future , with a custom level creator, 1 v 1 online mode, dog skins 🐶 and loot boxes 🤑

P.S. Would have loved a fullscreen mode, but that's maybe just me 🤠

Thank you for taking the time to play and rate my game, Eber!

This game was designed for mobile devices so a mobile release might come up someday. Although right now I don’t have plans on expanding on the LoopDog-verse so it’ll very likely be a mobile release of any other jam game I come up with.
