So I can use assets that others have made (Kenney assets, for example), but can't team up with an artist?

Hey! Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm glad you liked it! I hope you had fun in the jam, and have a great Christmas!

Wow! How did you generate the world? It looks sick and very massive! Unfortunately, my old GTX 1080 struggled quite a bit with the game, and I had about 20fps. I guess the low fps could also have been caused by instantiating many game objects? Either way, the game and procedural generation are very impressive!

Wow, is this multiplayer? Can many players play it at once and complete their quests? When I tried it, I didn't see any other lobbies unfortunately. Well done!

Why isn't the rating fair? The other participants still rated the game, and in the end, the game receives the average. Rating others' games and asking for a rating back is very common in all the jams I have joined over the years. I have never seen someone disqualified for it. It seems very harsh, especially when it was not forbidden in the rules.

Cool game! I haven't seen a platformer with such fast-moving platforms before. It makes the timing very important.

Interesting concept! I think there is a lot of potential here to create a new Minesweeper-like game.

It's giving me a lot of retro vibes. Well done!

That was lovely! I finished it and the atmosphere and graphics are very charming. Well done!

The thumbnail looked so similar to my submitted game, haha. I tried the game, and it's very interesting. It can also get intense when you're luring the enemy into a room. Well done! 😄

Hi all!

I thought I'd share my game, which is made completely with JS, no libraries used, just pure, vanilla JS. The game is inspired by classics like Digger and Mr. Do.

Here is the link if you'd like to give it a try. Enjoy!

Awesome game, interesting gameplay and it's very easy on the eyes. I had read comments beforehand and prepared myself for the worst regarding the character controller. However, once I started playing, I didn't find them that bad at all. They are just not as responsive as usual, so you need to be patience and there's no problem controlling the character.

Awesome game! I really like the idea, I haven't seen something similar before. Very well done!

Very nice looking game! I found a store on one of the island, did you have to remove this due the time limitation?

Cool game! I was very impressed that you managed to make all of this only with 48 hours.

I loved it! I collected 15 coins and finished the game! I too was searching for the last 3 keys and was really sad to read that you ran out of time. The game is really charming and I hope you make it into something awesome after the jam!

Interesting game! I finished the final boss on my first try!

Fun game! Simple but effective.

Interesting game! The retro art style is charming. Did you use wave function collapse to generate the map?

Great game! The visuals are amazing and the gameplay is fun. One of the best I've tried this jam.

Cool miner game! Very good for only 2 days of work.

Fun and engaging arcade game! The gameplay is very satisfying.

Challenging and atmospheric game! Going slow and steady is the key.

Fun little game!

Fun and unique game with a great concept!

Great job on creating procedurally generated dungeons!

Great job on creating a game with a very scary atmosphere! The voice acting was especially impressive.

Fun game with unique gameplay mechanics!

Very fun platformer! My little brother loved the game, especially the sound effects, lol. Well done!

Smooth and well-refined. Enjoyable and just the right amount of challenge. Excellent job!

Loved playing this! The story and mechanics are great, and the click-and-point adventure style suits it perfectly.

I'm impressed with its unique mechanic of managing two sides simultaneously, it keeps gameplay fun and challenging. Good job!

Very nice-looking platformer! I can definitely see its potential with some refinements. It would be fantastic if switching dimensions altered the map in some ways, like blocks you can only stand on in one dimension, etc. I did encounter an issue where the game continued even after I fell into a hole, but apart from that, I really like the direction this is taking. Excellent job!

A very interesting and uniquely looking game. It's quite polished, and I really liked the puzzles that required you to flatten your character.

It looks amazing! I liked the gem switching mechanics. Good job!

It was very intersting and it looked beautiful!

Managed to escape! Very fun and interesting game. I liked the voice acting, well done!

This brings back memories of playing Spore in the past! Great job, love the unique aesthetics!

Impressive light mechanics. It's quite scary at times. Good job
