Wow! How did you generate the world? It looks sick and very massive! Unfortunately, my old GTX 1080 struggled quite a bit with the game, and I had about 20fps. I guess the low fps could also have been caused by instantiating many game objects? Either way, the game and procedural generation are very impressive!
Thank you very much, I think I have to tune the render distance a bit but the performance issue lies in rendering the Map, it's really unoptimized.
Hey, nice game, I really like the feeling of the delayed movement with the rudder ! It's a bit tricky to maneuver but it's a fun mecanic ! Cheers
Thank you very much :D
cool game, fun to play once you get hang of the controls. Just need some water shader and some indicator on minimap that you picked up treasure. : )
Thank you for the comment. Those are good suggestions. I didn't have time in the end to fix the issue with the Treasures on the Map but maybe I'll fix it when the Jam is done. :)
I feel it needs some game mechanics like maybe need to sail taking into account the wind and / or the currents
Yes thank you for your comment, I had something like this in mind, thats a good Idea.
The sailling is really satisfying once you get the hang of it. Really fun and enjoyable
Thanks a lot :)
Awesome game, had fun playing but my pc gets somehow low fps when there's an island full of trees (my pc potato i guess). I also like the steering.
Thank you for commenting :D the performance issue is because the minimap is highly unoptimized because I didn't have time in the end.
great game! controls feel very smooth
Thanks a lot for the feedback :D
Well done! I wish I knew how to do that...
Thank You :D
Sick way to implement steering for the ship, unique, I love it!
After some exploring, I found out that the earth is flat after all!!
Thanks a lot for your feedback! I think making the earth flat was a good way to limit the map.
