I really enjoyed playing this
and currently top the leaderboard as Gwen. Just linked it to other people I know who might like it. Timeless mode would be a nice option, as mentioned elsewhere. Another thing that might be nice is having to press Enter to submit the current word, rather than it happening automatically as you move letters; this would remove the frustration at being sooo close to putting in "LOTUS" when you now have to figure out what to do with "STOSS" or whatever. Some way to view previously-used words, or to get instant feedback when that is the case before locking it in, would be nice as well: or (which would make the game easier, so might not be desirable) it could just be the five current vertical words which are forbidden to repeat the use of. I'm also not sure how but it would also help to have some mechanic for getting (purchasing??) new letters over time (so you're not locked into a more and more restrictive letter pool as you go). Anyway, fantastic game, and I'm giving you almost full stars! (4/5 for music)Great concept, I always love a good word game
Nice little crossword puzzle game - I really like the concept. Sometimes it gets a bit frustrating when getting stuck, but that could be my bad skills with words ;)
Very good minimalist puzzle game, the ost is good and its very pleasing to play.
This is a really great little time waster :) scratches the same itch as crosswords or wordle. I think it's awesome that you had time to implement a leaderboard and I'm curious how it works.
Thanks! I used LootLocker for the leaderboard. Was actually pretty easy to set up - there's a good YT tutorial on it here:
Awesome thank you. I'm going to read up on this.
I want this on my phone please and thank you! The only thing I would suggest changing is keeping the music a bit more constant - it almost felt like a glitch when it didn't start really playing for like ten seconds or so, and it's so dang pleasant and goes with the game so well. I could play and listen for hours. And yes I would share it with my mother.
Thank you! I want to develop this into a phone app eventually. Nice to know you picked up on that.
It has a pleasant gameplay and a unique structure, it is very compatible with the music. The scoreboard at the end is definitely very good ide
Really clever game! I love word games and puzzles so this was really addictive!
Hi,
this is a pretty unique idea, especially keeping the words you've already encountered. The controls were also perfect for smooth and fast word-searching. The sound effect were also pulled of very well! The music that randomly fades in and out is a bit weird, but the soundtrack itself is pretty nice. Keep up the good work!

Really interesting use of the theme!
Fun way to use the theme, Could've done without the time pressure but nicely done!
Thanks for the feedback! I love the idea of removing the time element. Can't believe I never thought of that.
I really like this. Sometimes it felt like I was just randomly stumbling into words, or I would accidentally make a word I didn't want to use. But the mechanic of having to swap old words with the ones you make is very clever.
