A really interesting concept. It was fun to mess around and see what I could make. I even tried to deliberately make something that sounded bad but couldn't!

Your submission sticks really well to the theme, the music was solid and made me feel like a musician, which I’m definitely not.
Nice vibes though!
LOVED it. It's sweet music and it made me feel like I'm making music
This game is really awesome. I love lofi type music. The art is really cool too. Great work.
The comment thing won't show my game since it wasn't submitted from my account but please also check out the game I worked on: https://itch.io/jam/black-and-white-jam-8/rate/1483089
Very chill vibes, enjoyed the experience a lot! I thought a game requires feedback and a win/lose condition though so would call this more of a nice artful experience/tool than a game
Wow. I have to say, this is amazing. I wasn't expecting that at all, but i am impressed. I don't know what to say except this is a very good work !
That as very nice to listen the combination of every tape u choice, very well done!
I. LOVE. THIS.
It's so simple yet so bewildering.
I would love to have this on my phone and just mess around with the combinations!
What I liked
- I haven't seen any game entries yet that are more tool-like, so I feel like this is pretty original.
- Each individual component, while still being different, could be randomly selected and the full loop would always sound coherent.
- I guess this also ties into my first point, but I think your interpretation of the loop theme was really cool.
Suggestions
- This would be dumb to expect during a jam, but if you were to decide to further develop this game, more functionality would be needed. You sound like someone who's experienced in music/sound production, so I think you could pull it off.
Overall, I enjoyed your entry and it's creativeness.
