Great idea, very cool loking game, with an intersting story, but the lines should disapear after some time because it's blocking the view of the game, and it's kinda hard to see what are you aiming at.

The lines are showing you the area of influence of the rule. Some rules are still in effect even when you break the chain. Some rules (like the do not pass blue spheres) disappear completely when broken. Others just stop following what they were attached to and some get smaller once they're broken (but are still active).
That was definitely fun! Some feedback:
- The art is cute
- The camera should be quicker, its movement was too smooth
- It would be far more engaging if it had some upbeat music
All in all, a solid submission with an amusing plot.
I loved the cat and mouse feel to it :) The two main characters were really fast and the movement particles gave it a really nice old cartoon look to it (Kinda like tom and jerry and willie coyote, etc)
It was a little buggy but the reset button works well for that!
It's a shame the text can be too much when you're busy shooting/following the kobold.
Very cool idea, I was having trouble keeping up with the text popping up, but controls were smooth and easy to get a handle on, which is great.
Cool game! Initially i didnt realise that I was supposed to shoot the “NO FOLLOW”
This was cool! The knight controls responded perfectly. Sometimes I missed the text that was popping up in the corner, but that little text narrator was a neat feature. I thought I maybe made it to the end, but just saw in another comment that it was supposed to fade to black. Still kicked some hat butt thought, ha.
There are some checks in place so you don't go through walls quite so often, but it doesn't fix it 100% of the time. The game is a little buggier than I usually make my games. You kinda have to close your eyes and pretend things are working. (Like you can go through walls, but please don't. And the blue force field thing you can probably push through it if you try hard enough and sometimes you can just walk around it).
Press G to reset is there if you get stuck or fall out of the world. It just spawns you back in the last room you cleared.
That was a cute game, maybe some more sound effects and reloading indicators would be nice, more enemies would also be appreciated!
I enjoyed the experienced, the design on every part was well made, great job and nice game :D
The pacing of this game was on point! Room for improvement on the art and UI side. Instructions could be nicer, but to be honest the info was there and the game was fun to play. Not gonna spoiler, but props for the originality, had fun, had a laugh so I think it fits the Gamejam formula for me. Don't know if I reached the ending but I liked it.
I wasn't sure on the pacing. It should be a bit longer to explore the different mechanics and how they interact with one another (like the no shoot rules combined with the rangers that may or may not work correctly), but I would need a bit more variation in the level to make it not drag on. And then it just kind of ends pretty abruptly. Oh well, I'm just hoping I cut it off before it gets boring.
As for the art, I'm just happy I gave everything a hat so it's not just cubes.
At the end, it fades to black. If it didn't or the AI got stuck and you couldn't make it there, sorry.
Heey, this game slaps. I love top down shooters.
One feedback on the camera though. The slight panning you have on it shouldn't be based on the character movement. It should follow the mouse cursor so that even if the player is moving to the edge of the screen, he can still see far enough to plan and shoot.
Great job nonetheless!
That was super cute, I enjoyed the story and art. I did sneak up and shoot the wizard a few times, I would feel bad, but we always had a little fire after, so he was probably fine...
I really liked the bonfire moment xD -really fun, snappy game play!! Really liked the style of the characters too -awesome work!! :D
