Yeah, I've found myself picking a gun that's depleted as well. My plan is to add an ammo counter to the gun menu, and keep you from equipping depleted guns.
needs some polish but I had fun! running out of ammo felt more like an annoyance than a useful mechanic--I often found myself swapping weapons randomly just to find something that could shoot. the experience is also a bit too unloseable and the guns too similar to offer me any motivation to use one weapon over another, it seems. four different types of weapons is a lot! it feels like you may have been able to sell a really clean feel for one, maybe two of them instead in the same amount of time.
teleporting felt a little tacked on, but was actually what I enjoyed most about the game. rmb to hop around space feels very satisfying, and your tune on the AV elements of doing so is great. I would love to experience more of that, particularly in a way that motivates me to do it in combat, or use it to do interesting things with the map.
also, any game about bhopping without scroll up mapped to jump should be a crime (wink).
I plan on adding an ammo counter to the gun menu, so you know if one's empty at a glance. I will also work on introducing more variety and usefulness to the guns, other than just stats.
Teleporting was planned from the beginning, but I guess I was treating it more like a dash instead of its own mechanic. I wouldn't even know how I would go about it, but it is definitely something I would like to expand upon.
I'll also be sure to include an option for scroll wheel jumping XD
Very frantic. Love how polished this is, even though it felt a bit too easy? At some point nobody was attacking me anymore, and I didn't know what to do. ;) In any case, this borders on professional product already.
Thank you! I've had issues with my games being to hard before, so I tried too make it easier XD
If no enemies are attacking, and the door hasn't opened yet, that normal means there's a bug or two wandering around looking for you. You'll just need to wait a bit for it to find you, can you can kill it to move to the next round.
It's super pretty first off, combat is nice but the movement feels a bit off. Jumping feels unresponsive sometimes while trying to bunnyhop, but those guns feel pretty nice. I hope this game gets some more updates in the future 👀 Really cool!
Wow! This game is incredibly impressive! Every aspect is super polished and the game look freakin' beautiful!
The movement fell fast and clean and it's super satisfying to dash around. It felt so good to simply move around the world. You did a really good job making the dash feel very smooth.
The visuals were absolutely stunning. The game looks like a full triple-A release. All of the special effects look AMAZING. The lights and particles and gunshots and explosions are all stylized and GORGEOUS. Everything you see is pleasing to the eye!
The combat felt nice. I like the simple weapon types and limited ammo. The 3d modeling and animation are great too. Did you create all these art assets yourself?
There is just too much good to say about this game. The polish is off the charts. I'm so impressed with this game, and if I heard right on Discord, I think you did this solo? Amazing...
Nothing radical, really. Just minor tweaks in the consistency of movement. It felt to me like I lost a bit of momentum whenever I was jumping. But if I'm not mistaken, I gained speed when I landed after a jump. Is that what you referred to as bunny hopping? Sorry if this is not a clear answer. It's hard to point out. Maybe I should spend some more time and see if I can find a better description of my experience.
I understand. Speed is reduced a little while in the air, and picks up again when on the ground. I did this cause it generally feels better to me, but I can see how it could mess with the flow.
Yeah, that's what I meant by bunny hopping. Jumping consistently increases speed, but if you stop jumping the speed resets to default. Which is what my understanding of bunny hopping is. Which of course could be completely wrong, as I've never put much research into it.
Both of these are easy enough to tweak, so I can mess around with the settings and see if I can't find something that feels more consistent.

Thank you so much!

Yo, this has a really good feel already. I love the melee finisher and teleport.
Thank you!
Very cool, found myself without ammo many times lol
Thank you!
Punching an enemy that's flashing red or just punching a bug will refill the ammo for all your guns.

I've also noticed some weirdness when constantly jumping.
I'll probably polish it (like polishing up the jump XD), and add the remainder of my planned content. But I'm still not sure how far I'll take it.

Thank you so much! This is very much appreciated!
Yeah, I was soloing on this one, and I did create all the 3D assets.
there's a discord? :surprise: where do I find it? :)

Hype, the dinochickens deserved to die.
What did the dinochickens ever do too you XD
They came out of my oven too hot. And must suuuufffeerrrrr.
Hey, that's pretty solid! The movement could use a bit of work here and there, but overall the gameplay feels pretty good. Nice job!
Thanks!
In what way could the movement be improved on?

Thank you so much!
