I recommend notation in the wiki that it is not possible to have more than two children.  I tried for a long time and then gave up and looked at the code only to realize the code is not designed to have more than 2 children in so many places thought.  It would have been nice to know that before putting in so much effort to have a third child.

I'm not "sure" this is a bug but it seems likely.. I completed Price of Power, Derwin says check in few days but it's been a year & nothing new. Aria as Soulmate, her Hopes & Dreams she tells me all about them but "You can only unlock Legacy Features with Aria once her main quest line is completed!", but Slavemasters of Raana quest is long done, so there's no direction from anywhere on where to go for the main storyline. 

I did wait quite awhile before I pursued the Kymanto stuff, but just generally even a guide as to what's supposed to happen would help me out alot, wiki isn't doing much other than saying stuff happens by talking to Mr. Derwin...

hello dev, i'm testing the new update 8.3p. The first thing i do is 5 clicks in the button of "patching required", after that, i notice that i lost all my progress in my house, i had all maxed up, for example, my bathroom was luxury.  second thing, there is no longer the icon for prostitution, like the activity that my slaves are doing, like working or their religion for example, the first screenshot show it.  third thing, i go for my servants, i had alredy read in the change log that i must go for them, it would be nice if i did not havee to pay again for them :c, some things appear a bit odd; the jobs that i used to give to my servants, be a accountman o a whore, are no longer or i can't see them, they now have religions too, even my daughter and son, but, why is their religion diferent to mine?? does this make sense?... and now i can even have sex whit my daughter... disgusting.

Yeah some progress had to be reset as the old system wasn't compatible with the old.

Sounds like a couple of bugs, especially the last part! I need to look at your save. Can you send it to me on Discord?

I downloaded the game for windows, via the Itch.io launcher, but starting the game just opens an explorer window.  The game itself doesn't launch at all.

So found a super weird bug. I've got two captured slave slots that are just filled by nobody. Not sure when or how it started

GOTO the debug menu and press "Clear captured" to fix that bug.

Hello, I started playing in version 0.8.23c and then I continued playing in version 0.8.3c from a home save as recommended.

After the patches were made I realized that you can't work at Nikka's store.

I'm now on version 0.8.3e and I wonder if that bug will be fixed in future update.

By the way,How often do you check the questions/suggestions topic?, to know

The Nika's bug was a patcher glitch but setting worknika to 0 in the console/saveeditor will fix it! It's also remedied in 083e.

I check most posts on itch but have, unfortunately, very little time to reply to everyone. My work situation will change in a month or so but I put 99% of my community related time into our Discord server at the moment. I will respond to and/or read 100% of everything posted there. :)

I found a very simple bug to duplicate slaves. It is not that obvious, so most players probably didn´t encounter it.

1.  Move a slave to the 8th slot of an NPC Menu page

2. Open her "Move" Menu

3. Interact with her

4. Close the interaction menu by returning to the npc menu

5. Now the slave in the 7th slot of the menu should be selected

6. Move this slave to another slot

7. Now the moved slave became an exact replica of the first one with all stats, traits and everything. If you modify the original slave (for example changing its traits, willpower or job) the ones of the new slave will change as well. 

It should then look like this:

If I explained it well enough, it is really easy to perform. Works in the newest public release version.

new download doesnt work screen all dark

Discipline gain through sources, at least other than “Explain:Chores” seems to be bugged in 0.8.3h

Could be I’m just immensely unlucky, but I’ve got a couple of important slaves I’m improving as mistresses and they’ve been locked onto 38 and 60 discipline for ages now despite, fully upgraded horse riding, high affection and happiness…

Also a minor bug is that the “inventory” button on the followers menu is not working, so the player needs to go through the full-blown NPC screen

Charm surgery in the Doctor's Hall states that you can go up to a maximum of 85, I started at 77 had 2 surgeries expecting to cap out at 85 but it gave me 87.  Definitely a pleasant surprise but not working as intended, just fyi.

This one is known. It’s more accurately: “raises your Cha by 5 if it is less than 85”

So the actual maximum is 89 if you start from a 4 or 9

Also having a problem with Quartermistress job, I have Kelly McTierney assigned there with an 81 science but my armor is not regenerating soak.  If memory serves "anvil" was the predecessor of the smithery module which I do have installed.  Is there some other anvil I need to acquire or is this not working properly?  Armor is the combat armor upgraded with the second set of plates, I don't recall the name off the top of my head.

Try unassigning and reassigning her from the quartermaster title. Maybe it's a simple skill update glitch.

Tried it, reassigned her to head maid then put her back as quartermistress hoping to reset it.  Did not regenerate soak but it didn't deduct the $80 either.

Also will not allow me to repair the armor at the armor store, it gives me the message "You have no armors in need of repairs right now."  It's the combat armor from the armor store upgraded with Tokyo plates so the max soak should be 30, current value is 26/21 which may be the problem?

It allowed me to repurchase the Tokyo plates which brought the armor up to 30/21 but I'm assuming the fact that the current value is greater than the max value is the problem, when purchasing the plates it's only adding to current value.

I have a serious bug that makes me unable to craft HULC for servants (the same armor for MC I am still able to craft)

When I try to do it, the resources are resources are spent, but the scale is not filled and the button becomes inactive after I click begin

Running into a problem with fighting certain mobs.  Brawlers (listed as fighting with fists/no armor) have a soak of 20?  That's pretty good for bare skin, better than the bandits with armor.

After a couple of in-game years, I noticed that my NPCs continue to age, despite the fact that I set in-game aging to freeze

After fighting the urban titans at Crow's end, I can't exit my page and click "check followers," MC was incapacitated. Only Felix (I think, or any of Ayden Einar Samuel who I assigned as follower) was left fighting, so there's this extra text saying stuff about MC being physically injured and permanent penalty that typically blocks up the button, please check.

I tried to post a picture of how it is, but I can't upload it. Maybe consider adding a debug menu to combat scenes? I went on an inspection in Google, and the text blocked the button. Anyway, I managed to exit after I deleted that MC injury text element in the code in Google, but I didn't want to cliche anything, so just in case I loaded it to pre-combatting. 

I still have a screenshot showing the issue within the google inspect page, ill try work out a way to upload.

I just downloaded the game, but all of the icons are not populating. The placement of the icons show up, but the graphics do not. I am using Windows Edge and the same issue on Firefox.

Are there any fixes to this?

Sounds like you haven't properly extracted the Masters of Raana folder. Try dragging it (the entire folder) out from the archive onto your desktop and start the game from that location.

Im not receiving any beside that i cant also progress with the mission In the name of God and house upgrade got reverted even though  I already maxed it before i patched lastly i cant have my companion to switch there weaponry even though i set 2 weapons

this managed to occur when I tried to catch an escaping slave:

May not be entirely a bug,  but I found it possible to spam taking a girl to bathroom and scrubbing her to replenish her stamina. 

Messed around for fun and realized there's a bug here.. Please note that the selected NPC is a male, and has no vaginal skill, if you check the screenshot it says vaginal skill 56, which is his copulation skill

I get an error when I try to install the new upgrade:

When I click up the updater buttons, it goes from 7 iterations left staight to 1 and then stays add 1 no matter how manny times I click.

I was hunting just outside the city and camped. When I broke camp I went to a screen that says "Somewhere in Raana" but there is nothing in the top 2 or bottom left windows. no map or navigation to click on. I can open the character sheet but nothing else is clickable. can't open save menu or anything else. I have refreshed, closed the window and re-opened. no joy. Completely stuck.

Found 2 The first is easy to replicate (Just finish the day between 12:01AM and 7:59AM) the second I actually don't know what causes it

1. If you Conclude day after 12:00AM The Log and Scavenger report is empty.

2. Sometimes when Concluding the day after 12:00AM still before 08:00AM it doesn't jump to 7/8:00AM the same day instead you sleep for between 23 and 32 hours skipping a whole day (If I recall correctly I first encountered this when I crafted weapons then jumped to the shrine to meditate 5 times before hitting Conclude day)

Since the new house system went in, I have noticed that the first kitchen upgrade visually makes the kitchen look clean, if simple.  But when interacting with servants, there is still text about cockroaches crawling around and messages about 'negative aura' due to foulness after that upgrade.  It looks like a bug, but I am not sure.  It happens current to .8.3.2

"Morning Blowjob" pictures do not display until you have had sex at least once (can be with any girl, not necessarily the one who is assigned). I was very confused when I started a new game recently and assigned someone to the morning blowjob only for it to show a blank screen. Took me a couple of hours to track down the actual trigger for the bug.

Very minor, and maybe it just hasn't been written yet but one of the slaves has a blank background for the third page.

Two minor bugs:

1) - At the End of Day report, half of the time the report is present but completely blank (doesn't even mention birthdays), and there is no scavenging report to click on at all. Everything seems to update properly with income and girls gaining/losing stats and affection, it seems to just be a display issue. No idea what causes it, but it feels like it happens about half of the time.

2) - Had an issue where I had a Pantry Girl assigned, but she stopped having any effect on the daily food. Revoking the title and reassigning it seemed to resolve it and I haven't been able to reproduce the bug again, so  unlike the first bug I mentioned this one seems to be a pretty rare occurrence.

Issue with  the Pool Party action not applying the Affection bonus once a girl's Affection reaches Loving. Did some tests with a save file, and the Pool Party seems to stop benefitting them at a "masterlove" of around 75. 

Not sure whether this is a bug or intended behaviour, but if it's the latter it might be a good idea to make a note of it somewhere in the info for the Pool Party, so people don't get confused about why they're not able to use the Pool Party to keep their household's affection stable at higher levels. 

Apologies to GrimDark if you get an email every time something goes up on this page, as I've done a TON of troubleshooting to try to figure out why my household's Affection kept backsliding from Undying when it didn't look like it should, and wound up writing and deleting a bunch of bug reports as I got more information and narrowed down where the problem was coming from (at first, I thought it was an issue with Affection loss not being reported correctly in the End of Day summary).

Found another minor bug. In the Workshop menu, the 'Average Discipline' which determines the efficiency of your workers (and the income that they generate) doesn't update unless you manually completely clear the workshop of workers and then reassign them. Even this only works if done *at the workshop menu*, but NOT when clearing  their  work  assignments  through  the  NPC Menu.

This is not just a display bug, but also negatively affects the income of the workshop. I noticed this when popping into the workshop and seeing that my average discipline was '41', which was correct when I had first assigned my workers, but who all have since had their discipline trained up by slavemistresses into the high 70's.

Not sure if this is relevant to the bug as I have not tested it further with other locations, but my workshop is built on the external lot in Speaker's Square.

having issues with academy jobs for family and or slaves. I have 2 kids studying and me and 1 slave work at academy I cannot get anyone else enrolled or working there. i used to be able to get 8 or 10 going but now seems like 4 is the most. also why is that i can sell some of my kids and get them to be prostitutes, just a bit odd

Interesting. Your Stamina is one point from killing the MC. That's why you're tired all the time. Probably inflicted by combat damage.

Go home, sleep and then train Stamina. You'll be very tired for a couple of weeks but eventually those points will start reaching manageable levels.

All the images are missing when i launch the game, so I have no idea what the hell i'm looking at.

You've probably not extracted the game properly. Pull the Masters of Raana folder out from the zip archive and start the game from the extracted folder.

Is this not supposed to have an .exe? There's only an .html file when I unpack this, which is kind of sus.

Version 0.8.4. when inspecting the effect of standings in code because it wasn't very clear to me in the wiki i came upon this piece of code:

As "$faction.standing" is undefined i assume you meant to use "$faction.christian.standing" again. As it stands this bug should cause the "Seal of Virtue" monastery effect to be inactive regardless of standing.

Im not sure if this is a bug or feature, but if its a bug I guess ima accept it, but if its a feature, someone might die... But Lovisa's character seems to have a permanent full semen count even if I don't touch her at all... she isn't assigned as floor crawler or anything, but it seems to be increasing every day...

Captured slaves that get certain girlids can spontaneously age when added to your household.

In essence the following code in the "NewSkills" section

gets run AFTER adding captured slaves to the house. This code is certainly intended to run as their portraits look fairly old, but it should happen when they are captured or at least show up during inspection before deciding whether to sell or add them. Having old grandpa "surprise" you with the fact he is not actually 23 years old just seems a bit silly.

not sure if a bug or a bad save, I can no longer go on relic hunt with stacey, and the invasion stops and disappears from the 3rd page... i saved game to disk just after invasion was announced. Same with prior save...I get it

I think this is a bug, sorry if I am wrong. 

At game start you can choose a trait 'crafter' +10 tp two skills, it does that, should start with crafting materials but I do not see any or have them show up when I hit craft.

When "Hide NSFW" pics is on, the picture of the girl in the "available slaves" section of Kymando Hall still shows up.

EDIT: Also, when selling slaves you get the "auction" picture.

Found an "exploit".

If you need stamina or health, just go take a bath (bathtube), leave, go back and keep doing this. Very little time spent and it will refill you levels.

Laika uses slaves for sexual purposes at the age of 14-15 if she is appointed as a teacher.

Not quite a bug but...

The game has melee and ranged weapons.

In fact, both are useless. 99.99% of battles are carried out only by Cane. That's not OK.

Ranged weapons are only sometimes used to pre-fire a thick target. And in several battles, like Dengi and the formation of Aria as chancellor. Melee weapons are not used at all. It is not needed and loses to Cane. I would like to see the chance of capturing a prisoner for sale or to a fort the higher the more powerful the weapon used. Cane should be the starting option. But not an ultimatum weapon for the whole game without options.

Second. It is necessary to add the ability to send prisoners to the fort from any location. Better yet, check the box in the settings for auto-sending. The same goes for sales. Jumping around locations and manually sending soldiers to the fort does not carry any gaming value. As well as the possibility of buying soldiers in the fort. For example, for those who do not want to fight. Mechanics are like in a town hall. Pay and get people.Moreover, they worsened the map and began to go 1 location further to Stoke Hill.

The new MBJ image files are not loading under Linux as file paths are case sensitive, it needs to be "Av" rather than "av", while under windows case sensitivity isn't an issue.

Another issue I have found is that "Wrix Kinblock" is preventing all training for both characters. Essentially the code currently excludes 18 and 19 training from anyone not just each other.

Found a combat exploit with using hotkeys. If I use the power strike and strike enemy hot keys in quick succession I get infinite attacks on every target.

Game freezes once a day, when hitting the "conclude day" button, "return" button after several actions. This freeze can be for several minutes at a time. 

When loading a game from file, game completely freezes.

mb it was a browser performance issue

how did you fix it?

Ammo Pack trait not working for cyber cannon. Is this intended?

Yes, the WEGA cannon is a legendary weapon so ammo trait won't affect it.

Just a wrong assignment for names, see screenshot. The party consisted of, in order, Amelia, Juno, Layana, Nicole. No Loren.

I got this bug twice where I would lose all my money at the start of a day...

Instead of showing me the correct amount, it would show: $NaN

Reloading to the automatic save done each morning would clear this erronous amount but I would only have the amount I get as income for the day.

NPCs who fall sick and unconscious cannot be removed from their outside-the-house job, and are still going to work.

I've noticed some of the game features don't fully show up with some internet browsers. For that reason it would probably be best to put up a guide that shows a list of the most compatible browsers. For example, if I load the game in Google Chrome, the house parts will be cut off so that I can only see the basement but can't go to the middle and top floors. Some parts of the maps also will  be cut off with some browsers also. 

So far, the game works best for me with less bugs in firefox, but that's not necessarily the best one. (I don't know which browser has best performance to be honest.) 

These are bugs that show up differently depending on which web browser someone uses. 

Just a code glitch for the particpant's name during a one-on-one dinner with the Dunham girl (Alice).

Revital does not work. Tried using it on a npc I'd rather keep young for a while longer, still says her birthday is in 33 days.

birthdays and apparent age are tracked differently now iirc.

  • As long as an NPC has an active Revital dose (Revital Active Days:) in her body, the engine keeps track of her "Real age" through separate variables. Hover over her age at Examination to display the NPC's "real age".
  • Revitalized NPCs can now celebrate birthdays as their non-Revitalized counterparts.
  • One dose of Revital will now pause aging for 365 days (was 360).

There should be a clear indication (status effect?) of which npc's currently have an active Revital dose from both the npc menu and the examination page, as it stands unless you read all the patch notes the player has no feedback that Revital is doing anything at all.

Bug with full house quest, if i accept it i dont get a journal entry and i cant interact with Craig's "need slaves?" interaction once i have a slave that fulfills the quest

1. Some traits, such as Crafter, Wealthy, and Pharmacist, do not appear on my traits list when I open the character sheet from the main screen and click the button at the bottom left to show "TRAITS & DISADVANTAGES." I do have their effect, though. I have crafting supplies from the Crafter trait, an additional $5,000 and $15 per day from the Wealthy trait, and various pharmaceutical items from the Pharmacist trait. They just don't appear in the list.

2. When a sexual encounter ends after 00:00 and results in pregnancy (examining the character says "1 day pregnant" immediately), I do not get any notification about it when I conclude the day. Additionally, when I conclude a day after 00:00, the log doesn't show any stat changes related to npcs.

3. Fully upgrading my office or allowing an npc with 63 int to work as an Accountant does not increase her Administration skill.

4. I don't know whether this is intentional or an oversight, but even though Av107 (Astrid) no longer shows up for sale at the slave markets, which I assume is because she is now a scripted random npc, Av100 (Julia) still appears for sale at the slave markets.
