Doublecheck the capitalization on your asset filenames, including the extensions. HTML may be universal but case matters on linux. I've had to rename a few PNG to png to get them to load. I've seen the title change to Slavemasters of Haalu a few times while events are loading. Old title? The yard screen sometimes glitches the bottom divider line over the perimeter check button, making it impossible to click.

The 0.7.6 update features hundreds of case sensitive fixes. I have a Linux guy helping me with this right now so most of them should be fixed after next release.

As of 0.7.6b you've fixed many of the battler pics but the sounds folder is still borked. Renaming Sounds and all folders beneath it to lowercase sorted all problems but one.  sounds/outside/audio2.mp3 throws an error that it cant be found, because its actually under the "audio not used" folder beneath that.

Also as of 0.7.6b, chromium is throwing an error: 23[Intervention] Blocked attempt to create a WebMediaPlayer as there are too many WebMediaPlayers already in existence. See crbug.com/1144736#c27

Since it also threw the case sensitive error for basically everything in the sounds folder, on the initial screen, my guess is you are trying to load every sound clip at once instead of loading them as needed?

Of course. I forgot about the sounds folder. Fixed. 

Fixed the audio2 error as well. It was just the catching procedure that didn't find it so that error should never have affected the actual gameplay.

I cache all sounds at the initiation of MoR. I've not gotten this error myself, however. Are you experiencing any silence or glitchy audio issues that you think might be related to this?

I havent noticed any, but then, I havent played that far in and dont really know what the game is supposed to sound like normally. I dont know twine that well yet so this is just guesswork, but since most of your players are probably playing with local file as opposed to loading from a web server, precaching doesnt seem to offer any advantage over say setting up one player for bgm, one for event sound, and changing them to new sound files as needed? That seems like it would be a bit gentler on the number of files and objects loaded at once, so conserve ram and speed things up overall. And would nicely sidestep this bug.

Seems like I can't take slaves as followers? Is this a bug? 0.76b version.

Yes, I do own 2 slaves and both of their relationship with me are great, I cannot think of a reason there's nothing here, because previous versions had interactive UI where I could take slaves as followers in this exact menu.

That's removed in the 076b version. Use their inventory to dress them and make them your followers by clicking on the small, red icon next to their interaction button.  You can add both slaves to your party this way - much faster.

It's a bit confusing - I'm redoing the merc system right now (didn't have time to add that to the 076 version) so they're left in the old system and the girls are in another.

The 0.7.7 update in a week or two will completely redo how you hire mercenaries. You can now search for them in taverns, warrior halls or on the map, and more freely choose how to build your crew. 

Cant get the images to work when using Opera browser. What do?

So I accidentally stubbled upon a bug that could give you infinite money in the latest version (0.7.9.4).

After becoming an instructor, click on the "Tutor" option. After you've finishing tutoring click on the "Manage Slave" Option. Under the "Student" Colum, select one of the 4 options available. What should appear is the summary screen for your "Tutor". If you click on "Manage Slave" you will earn money as well as standing in the academy. You can click on the "Manage Slave" button again and again, I'll continue to generate Money and Standing (Academy) infinitely. In addition, the time will not increase as well.

The variable that executes the "end class event" did not reset properly. 

All variables reset automatically when you leave an instance, but I forgot to apply the reset function manually in that specific event.

Version .8

In the Temple of Doom quest, you return the book and select "that must be worth a lot of money!"  Professor Wolfe offers "80 dollars" and you receive 800

Female mercenaries use male gender pronouns, eg. "Aiko uses HIS shotgun" (maybe I am misgendering them? :)

In the 'Taking down the Hulk' quest, I can apparently repeat the quest initiation indefinitely, getting a new poison vial each time. Re-poisoning the well has no additional effect on space marine hitpoints, though.

Mercenaries' affection goes past 100 (eg. 170/100) edit: actually a lot of interesting numerical clipping in many places. Assault rifle shots fired w/1 or 2 bullets seem to fire 3 shots and go to a negative value. Happiness can exceed 100 (but I guess when that happens it gets kicked down?)


Great game.

The only bugs I have noticed so far in .8 is that in a long playthrough: 1.Coil Gun audio will decrease. 2. Assault Rifle audio will decrease, and then later become entirely inaudible.  This might take a few (dozen?) fights.  Rifles seem fine though.  This was in Firefox.

not that big of a deal.
but if you forget to shower and get dirty, promise a girl something in exchange for a BJ, then if she refuses to give youthe BJ she will get additionally mad at you for not keeping the promise.

also promising to take one out to diner and then taking both slaves to the crystal hills diner place wont count and shell get mad anyways.

In 0.8.0.2, if I go to the Economy screen and click on the icon next to the Dockyard Punks, the Business Disruption notification appears.  I can X out of that, and leave the Economy screen, and everything looks normal.  But then if I open the Character screen, the Business Disruption notification is there, about halfway down the right side, overlapping other text.  In the bottom center of the screen is a Back selection which removes the Business Disruption notification, and then everything is fine.  This is repeatable, although it didn't happen every single time I went through these steps.

Not exactly a bug but still a problem. I couldn't download the game from itch(it starts off slowly and fails after a while) and had go to your SS page to seek alternative source. Could you fix the downloads here(or at least add the MEGA link)?

Not a bug exactly, but if you go to Furry's it's possible in a single night to make over 1000 and get a good amount of reputation or even grind dexterity. I will explain the grinding process which i'm sure shouldn't be available.


Start first round of drinking get that 1 rep at start, follow with socializing for 5 rep and some gambling. So far it's normal. now leave the tavern and return, go back to drinking and you can do the exact same thing without too much time lost, rinse repeat until around 12:30 at which time you cant go back. after that do second round normally for a little extra if you want.

For grinding dex it's same process but you grind the 2nd round of drinks, get the 160 mph part and socialize, go out and socialize again...


Pretty sure it's not supposed to allow going over the same round again and again.

So....no idea if this is localized to Caitlin being your wife but for some reason her orfices dont heal no matter how much time passes. on top of that the game seems to forget what her job is. and lastly she cant get pregnant.

Yep. Even did a reset on jobs and titles just to see of that would work. It could have been bad luck or tied to the glitch with her not healing though

so, mild suggestion. maybe you could set up a thread for grammar mistakes? 
Talking with wolf after handing him the book for money says that he gives you 80 gold, when instead he gives 800. 

When scavenging in wild areas I've had problems with one of the ambushes.  The more common ambush is fine and works normally, however there is a less common one where the 4 enemies are armed with pistol/sword/sword/nothing (wouldn't it usually say fists?) and after the battle concludes you can't progress.  You'd normally have to loot or check followers or something but there's no buttons on the screen for it.  The only thing you can do is restart, it's extremely annoying.

I just encountered it again but with different weapons so it was nothing to do with that weapon grouping.

0.8.1.2 Patch notes say that a slave dismissed from the Arena will go to an 'old annex slot' if the first two 'active' slots are filled.  But I can't find any slave pulled out of the arena unless they go to the current party (the first two slots) at all, anywhere.  Is there a bug, or am I being a butthead and not looking in the right place?

They should go to the first free slot below the two main slots. Tried this extensively myself but cannot reproduce the bug. If you happen to find out how - ie combination of slots, slaves etc, please let me know.

I think I have a bug. I have acquired Caitlin recently (after downloading the latest version), and it seems I can't raise her affection beyond "Friendly" through activities (like going to the diner or stargazing) or through talking. Through talking "Amiable" does appear but as soon as I click "Stop talking" it drops to "Friendly". When I click on "Overview" in the slave menu I don't see any trait that could cause it*. She was jaded but the trait doesn't appear anymore.

I probably should say that I want to do some kind of challenge here : I want to try to raise her affection to the max without sex. I suppose sex would be a way to raise her affection but I don't want to do that.

* The traits that appear are : Pure, Sweet Tooth, Vanilla and Normal

She won't raise her Affection beyond Friendly if you haven't finished her quest. You could say she's a "Jaded" in a very hard way. ;)

The Gardener job does not appear to be functioning correctly.  It says that a gardening skill of 26-50 raises income from the garden +25%, 51-74 by 50% and 75-129 by 100%.  I have Juno assigned there, the skill raises (15% chance/day) are kicking in but my income has been frozen at +14 for a long time.  I wasn't tracking it at the 26-50 level but it didn't increase at the 51 or 75 threshold, she is currently at 78.  Is +14 the cap or is there some other factor I'm missing?

I have the same problem with Juno. She is undying affection and 100 happiness (108 usually, but it never stays there of course.) Maybe she doesn't like gardening. I sent her to the Academy to train to, but it would not raise her gardening, even after 30 days in classes.

Gardening is trained randomly daily from being a gardener.  Think Mai Lynn has the highest skill outside of captures with it buffed. Dakota starts at I think, 25 gardening skill. What a waste, I sent her to devious tools instead, it's much darker that way. Sadly I cannot interact with her at work. although I take constellation in knowing she's learning something. The only thing more amusing is Eliana as the household floorwalker.

Same problem here, 295 days later. Is this is a gardening problem or a Juno problem?

(Specifically, she has gardening 75. Maxed out garden with tools went from 11 to 14 production when she reached skill 26, but hasn't changed since. I did a really tedious save slum to see if she was just broken at the 51-74 range & it seems it's just broken. Same question remain though, is it Juno or Gardening skill that doesn't work well?)

Also for girls with jobs they can only do training at 8 am, even after their shift is over they aren't able to be included in training.  You have to go in and manually remove them from their job, do the training, then assign them to the job all over again.  I can't say if it's all girls and all jobs but I tried Michelle and Eliana, Eliana was assigned to perform at the Dragon where her shift says it ends at 4:30 but no matter what time it was after 8am she could not be included in training.  (I was trying to do stamina but checked ranged combat also to verify it wasn't specific to stamina)  Michelle was assigned at Nika's where her shift ends at 4pm.

Clock in the crafting menu isn't tracking properly, when you start a new project or go into an existing project the first time you click continue the display clock doesn't tick up half an hour (the ticks still happen, they're just not shown), and after that it remains half an hour behind while you're working on the project.

A minor bug, on the public version of 8.1.3:

When you try to rise Adrienne's corruption, the text says that you managed to rise it (+1), but it remains 25/100

at the end of each day(version 0.8.05)  my main girl loses 1 to her max stamina

v08.15b some clothes get lost, I often save and reload.

Latex strap bikini, Karada and Training harness get lost after I bought it and used.

No problems with the other clothes.

I got pen and paper PRG inactive in my list. Maybe I have any item missing or something? Still cannot realize what's the problem.

Make sure you have enough people joining you - it requires at least three guests/slaves to start. Also note that it's a one-time thing. If you've done the whole campaign, it's permanently greyed out.

Maybe it is a bug or not but i don't have the option to buy slaves in the watery eyes slave markets it doesn't exist nor any random slave appears at crystal hills market, i also never being able to capture a slave through combat, is any of this on purpose our is it a bug?

Ran into some dubious situations in 0.8.1.6

  • There seems to be an oversight with textiles. There’s simply nowhere to buy cloth to try and practice artisanship (and levelling up crafting is frustratingly grindy as it is). The only way to do it is to keep scrapping merch for a chance at cloth scraps to then put them together as textile.

  • During the quest The Prowler From the Depths, you can confront the professor about the Medallion you pick up from the abominaton at the abandoned house. You then get into a Manipulation check which I got curious and save-scummed for. No dice, couldn’t pass it despite having really high Manip. So I opened up the html and eeeeyyy, that test is a fake! It’s not rolling dice, it’s just telling me I failed by a small random amount! I got a bit miffed, not gonna lie =P

  • Still a handful of .PNG and .JPG lingering in the assets.

  • Dakota’s quest mentions that the next step is going to her Birthday but that seemingly never happens? No prompts, no options, no updates… Wanted to edit my save to try and fiddle with flags but it’s unfortunately not serialised and I’m not in the mood to find and reverse engineer that in the middle of that 14 megs html =P UPDATE - Well, I DID dive into the html, fiddled with my save and figured it out. If you miss Dakota’s party, the quest just stalls forever. This could be intended but it’s frustrating and confusing. One easy way to remedy this even without having a backup route would be to have a start of day announcement to remind the player to go to the party. Also, as a suggestion, consider dropping the encoding and just storing the save file as plain text when exporting/importing to aid in situations such as these

  • I seemed to run into a sound effect issue. I’ve lowered my volume to 50% and I think some conditions are causing the reduction to get applied to some sounds multiple times. I’ve noticed this as some gun sounds (Rifles the most definite offenders) eventually vanish after a while during long play sessions. I thought the sounds were just not playing but at one point I noticed them playing veeeery faintly.

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but for some reason i'm locked into only 6/6 insane difficulty bounties. Even weirder, no matter the description, its always the same exact set up. (which works for me because the loot ends up being the same too and its one of the higher ended ones) 
I've been playing a long time (509) in game days. not sure if that helps

Hey, great game! I like the hole concept of it so looking forward to next updates.

I found a slave after a fight in Stokke Hills (i think it was the guy in the park) and after adding her from "Inspect captured slaves" tab there are no pics/art for her.

Her name is Padme.

If i try to open the pic in another tab it point to the path below:

It makes sense to me in this type of game to be able to collect slaves after fights/random events if someone is playing a "slave trader" kinda style.

Golden Papers. Quest bugged. I extorted,  and it didn't complete. I thought I sold the journal prior to extortion, but perhaps I didn't? It hasn't completed. I cancel extortion dunno what occurs apart from no further options, no point in cancelling the extortion  to get rid of the quest in my journal, telling me to sell the quest journal.

Where are virgin slaves? Lovisa, yes, and where? Dockgrave XI

Zoom in option is bugged this latest version unlike the previous version.

I may just be missing it, but in 0.8.2c I can't find any indicator of how many days the character has instructed at the Academy and how many days in the current instruction period were left.  It used to list that in the Office at the house, but it isn't there now.

The only issue I have noticed with 0.8.2.1 is that sledgehammer icons are broken (missing or mis-linked?).  The other new graphics are visible and the expanded soundscape is nice.  There was also an NPC armed with a sledgehammer whose sprite had swords instead, but I think that is part of a different issue.

I acquired a follower named Zenobia from a quest location at a hotel in Watery Eyes, by subduing her in combat.  When I ask about her past, the first page she gives belongs to Ariana Winton instead. The second page is normal for the new NPCs.  I haven't seen the third page yet.

Not sure if this is a bug or just me doing stuff out of intended order and breaking things, but on the "Golden Papers" Mission I can't progress, it tells me to check the Census, but when I do it doesn't upate the Journal and shows no new PoI anywhere.

In 0.8.2.2 (public), I don't see the Grenade Launcher at the Transit Department.  The Plasma Rifle is in the slot where the Grenade Launcher appears in the screenshot.  If the Grenade Launcher is a tier item or influence locked or something, I missed that information.

Bug in Jaded and Frigid


The Wiki says:

This NPC Happiness at a much slower pace and events that would make a normal person happy might not affect a Jaded one at all. He or she isn't as receptive to negative Happiness effects either, however.

  • Effects: Slower Happiness gain. Doesn't lose as much Happiness or Affection when MC treats her badly.
  • How to increase: Ending the day with an NPC that has Happiness 10 or less, and Affection Abhorred or worse, has a 20% risk of raising this Trait with one point.
  • How to decrease: Having an Affection that is Loving+ or Happiness above 79 when hitting End Day has a 15% chance of lowering this Trait with one point.
  • Sex: Both.

There is no other section where jaded AND frigid can be lowered. This says it is not possible to go under 49 either a bug in the code or documentation.

I recommend notation in the wiki that it is not possible to have more than two children.  I tried for a long time and then gave up and looked at the code only to realize the code is not designed to have more than 2 children in so many places thought.  It would have been nice to know that before putting in so much effort to have a third child.

I'm not "sure" this is a bug but it seems likely.. I completed Price of Power, Derwin says check in few days but it's been a year & nothing new. Aria as Soulmate, her Hopes & Dreams she tells me all about them but "You can only unlock Legacy Features with Aria once her main quest line is completed!", but Slavemasters of Raana quest is long done, so there's no direction from anywhere on where to go for the main storyline. 

I did wait quite awhile before I pursued the Kymanto stuff, but just generally even a guide as to what's supposed to happen would help me out alot, wiki isn't doing much other than saying stuff happens by talking to Mr. Derwin...

hello dev, i'm testing the new update 8.3p. The first thing i do is 5 clicks in the button of "patching required", after that, i notice that i lost all my progress in my house, i had all maxed up, for example, my bathroom was luxury.  second thing, there is no longer the icon for prostitution, like the activity that my slaves are doing, like working or their religion for example, the first screenshot show it.  third thing, i go for my servants, i had alredy read in the change log that i must go for them, it would be nice if i did not havee to pay again for them :c, some things appear a bit odd; the jobs that i used to give to my servants, be a accountman o a whore, are no longer or i can't see them, they now have religions too, even my daughter and son, but, why is their religion diferent to mine?? does this make sense?... and now i can even have sex whit my daughter... disgusting.

Yeah some progress had to be reset as the old system wasn't compatible with the old.

I downloaded the game for windows, via the Itch.io launcher, but starting the game just opens an explorer window.  The game itself doesn't launch at all.

So found a super weird bug. I've got two captured slave slots that are just filled by nobody. Not sure when or how it started

GOTO the debug menu and press "Clear captured" to fix that bug.

Hello, I started playing in version 0.8.23c and then I continued playing in version 0.8.3c from a home save as recommended.

After the patches were made I realized that you can't work at Nikka's store.

I'm now on version 0.8.3e and I wonder if that bug will be fixed in future update.

The Nika's bug was a patcher glitch but setting worknika to 0 in the console/saveeditor will fix it! It's also remedied in 083e.

I check most posts on itch but have, unfortunately, very little time to reply to everyone. My work situation will change in a month or so but I put 99% of my community related time into our Discord server at the moment. I will respond to and/or read 100% of everything posted there. :)

I found a very simple bug to duplicate slaves. It is not that obvious, so most players probably didn´t encounter it.

1.  Move a slave to the 8th slot of an NPC Menu page

2. Open her "Move" Menu

3. Interact with her

4. Close the interaction menu by returning to the npc menu

5. Now the slave in the 7th slot of the menu should be selected

6. Move this slave to another slot

7. Now the moved slave became an exact replica of the first one with all stats, traits and everything. If you modify the original slave (for example changing its traits, willpower or job) the ones of the new slave will change as well. 

It should then look like this:

If I explained it well enough, it is really easy to perform. Works in the newest public release version.

new download doesnt work screen all dark

Discipline gain through sources, at least other than “Explain:Chores” seems to be bugged in 0.8.3h

Could be I’m just immensely unlucky, but I’ve got a couple of important slaves I’m improving as mistresses and they’ve been locked onto 38 and 60 discipline for ages now despite, fully upgraded horse riding, high affection and happiness…

Also a minor bug is that the “inventory” button on the followers menu is not working, so the player needs to go through the full-blown NPC screen

Charm surgery in the Doctor's Hall states that you can go up to a maximum of 85, I started at 77 had 2 surgeries expecting to cap out at 85 but it gave me 87.  Definitely a pleasant surprise but not working as intended, just fyi.

Also having a problem with Quartermistress job, I have Kelly McTierney assigned there with an 81 science but my armor is not regenerating soak.  If memory serves "anvil" was the predecessor of the smithery module which I do have installed.  Is there some other anvil I need to acquire or is this not working properly?  Armor is the combat armor upgraded with the second set of plates, I don't recall the name off the top of my head.

Try unassigning and reassigning her from the quartermaster title. Maybe it's a simple skill update glitch.

Tried it, reassigned her to head maid then put her back as quartermistress hoping to reset it.  Did not regenerate soak but it didn't deduct the $80 either.

Also will not allow me to repair the armor at the armor store, it gives me the message "You have no armors in need of repairs right now."  It's the combat armor from the armor store upgraded with Tokyo plates so the max soak should be 30, current value is 26/21 which may be the problem?

It allowed me to repurchase the Tokyo plates which brought the armor up to 30/21 but I'm assuming the fact that the current value is greater than the max value is the problem, when purchasing the plates it's only adding to current value.

I have a serious bug that makes me unable to craft HULC for servants (the same armor for MC I am still able to craft)

When I try to do it, the resources are resources are spent, but the scale is not filled and the button becomes inactive after I click begin

Running into a problem with fighting certain mobs.  Brawlers (listed as fighting with fists/no armor) have a soak of 20?  That's pretty good for bare skin, better than the bandits with armor.

After a couple of in-game years, I noticed that my NPCs continue to age, despite the fact that I set in-game aging to freeze

After fighting the urban titans at Crow's end, I can't exit my page and click "check followers," MC was incapacitated. Only Felix (I think, or any of Ayden Einar Samuel who I assigned as follower) was left fighting, so there's this extra text saying stuff about MC being physically injured and permanent penalty that typically blocks up the button, please check.

I tried to post a picture of how it is, but I can't upload it. Maybe consider adding a debug menu to combat scenes? I went on an inspection in Google, and the text blocked the button. Anyway, I managed to exit after I deleted that MC injury text element in the code in Google, but I didn't want to cliche anything, so just in case I loaded it to pre-combatting. 

I still have a screenshot showing the issue within the google inspect page, ill try work out a way to upload.

I just downloaded the game, but all of the icons are not populating. The placement of the icons show up, but the graphics do not. I am using Windows Edge and the same issue on Firefox.

Are there any fixes to this?

Sounds like you haven't properly extracted the Masters of Raana folder. Try dragging it (the entire folder) out from the archive onto your desktop and start the game from that location.

Im not receiving any beside that i cant also progress with the mission In the name of God and house upgrade got reverted even though  I already maxed it before i patched lastly i cant have my companion to switch there weaponry even though i set 2 weapons

Just downloaded on Mac. Many buttons, especially the bottom rows, are not clickable due to not fitting into windows. Running in Firefox or Safari, changing window size, zoom, or browser font size, makes no difference. Trying to click the visible edges of buttons also does not work.

May not be entirely a bug,  but I found it possible to spam taking a girl to bathroom and scrubbing her to replenish her stamina. 

Messed around for fun and realized there's a bug here.. Please note that the selected NPC is a male, and has no vaginal skill, if you check the screenshot it says vaginal skill 56, which is his copulation skill

I get an error when I try to install the new upgrade:

When I click up the updater buttons, it goes from 7 iterations left staight to 1 and then stays add 1 no matter how manny times I click.

I was hunting just outside the city and camped. When I broke camp I went to a screen that says "Somewhere in Raana" but there is nothing in the top 2 or bottom left windows. no map or navigation to click on. I can open the character sheet but nothing else is clickable. can't open save menu or anything else. I have refreshed, closed the window and re-opened. no joy. Completely stuck.

Found 2 The first is easy to replicate (Just finish the day between 12:01AM and 7:59AM) the second I actually don't know what causes it

1. If you Conclude day after 12:00AM The Log and Scavenger report is empty.

2. Sometimes when Concluding the day after 12:00AM still before 08:00AM it doesn't jump to 7/8:00AM the same day instead you sleep for between 23 and 32 hours skipping a whole day (If I recall correctly I first encountered this when I crafted weapons then jumped to the shrine to meditate 5 times before hitting Conclude day)
