Ezra needs to thank me! :-)

You need Science over 100 and the laptop from the mastersphere, as well as the companion techie (make sure they are top-notch fighter also)-- at least, that's what it took for me. Sorry, I didn't write down the passcode. This is an example where Grimdark needs to make multiple routes to victory because this is one of the encounters that forces the player to develop in a specific way or lose the game.

(1 edit)

Arizona loses all points in SCIENCE over 50. I've trained her multiple times over 50, and she loses whatever points she gains that day at the conclusion of the day. Did I miss or forget something about her. or is this a bug?

EDIT: Oops! I missed something. it is not a bug. My bad.

You can assign guards and workers through the ACTIONS page of the NPC. Darkmere Mill/Farm produces wood, which you can use or sell. You can also assign guards from the Darkmere Mill page -- up at the top, hover over the little icons and you'll get their info popups.

EDIT: Oops, the little icons on the Mill page won't be there unless you also have Fort Sera. The icons send the guards from Fort Sera if you have guards there (or from the other properties if you own them).

Acknowledgement of fulfillment of Hopes and Dreams. It would be really immersive to have a slave's fulfillment of their Hopes and Dreams be announced and celebrated through the slave's dialogue --for example,  the slave initiates dialogue with acknowledgement and gratefulness, the MC responds with choices of celebratory, encouragement, noncommittal or oppressive responses with possible tag-along events.

Oh, and over in EmCity you can find the Mindmancer drug for sale at the Transit Department. It will detract 70 willpower a dose, but also has other effects -- lowering Intelligence and Education.

The easy way is using the Lesano potions from the Yellow Queen (Secret Garden Bookstore) to raise Corruption, which makes everything else easier. Ne mess, no fuss . . . OK, a little mess but you can deal with the Taint using an Embryl necklace. Otherwise, check the wiki, which says, in order to lower Willpower:

  • Explain chores and sexual duties, preferably in a dominant manner (Talk > Explain something).
  • Ask about sexual preferences in a dominant way (Talk > Ask something).
  • By requesting sex in a dominant or sadistic way.
  • Through degrading acts during sex and shower/bath events.
  • Through bondage sessions.
  • Through Frightening or Terrorizing actions (Talk section).
  • Through the use of Butt Plugs
  • An Educatorwith Corruption 60+, Dominant trait, or Malevolent trait 30+ can be given the option to Dominate their trainees, which has a daily chance of decreasing the Willpower of Trainees assigned to them by 1 (cap: 0) as long as the Educator's Willpower is higher than his/her trainee.
  • Lecture (= preach) "Anti Willpower" in your Shrine, and all Followers will have a reasonable chance of having their Willpower decreased by 1 point.

We have Head Maid, Butler, etc., that train slaves at something as well as do a job, so perhaps there is a place for a Head Nurse/Doctor, a Pimp/Madame, and/or Custodian/Housekeeper (Head Janitor)?

Oops! Sorry.

No, the code got mixed up and described something that is not happening.

Code called a completely irrelevant text as I've not had any female imprisoned, nor is any female currently in the Training Room. This is the second person I've imprisoned (he called me an asshole twice - no, no, no), the first was a Prowler some time ago.

That is not an issue here, and seems to be a browser issue. I'm using Firefox Portable v144.0 64-bit. Might be privacy settings.

Oh man! I just found out you can recruit the Cultist Monk and get the Cyber Cannon -- I think I never decrypted the message before recruiting him before. Nice!

Thanks, yeah, those weapons are absolutely necessary! In this game I couldn't get one of the cybercannons because I recruited the Cultist Monk of Stokke Hills instead of killing him . . . I've recruited him twice, now it'll always seem a shame to kill him after he served so well.

I started a new game going in the other direction in this quest -- and it is a much richer experience. I'm only a little way into it but it's very well done and has intrigued me. Oh, and thanks for :

Just a code glitch for the particpant's name during a one-on-one dinner with the Dunham girl (Alice).

What's the Taint values onthe other inhabitants of your house? Having the Prowlers around increases Taint, the Embryl stones decrease Taint. If Taint gets too high something bad happens (I think they turn into Prowlers, but I haven't seen it yet).

If you're gonna do all that, I'd prefer just saving some money and buying the computer in the general store, and the one in Modules in the house, and read a skill book or two.

I've come to 75 Liberty, 92 Control, 88 Prosperity, 47 Corruption in the 3rd Republic, after being 21 Liberty, 0 Control, 73 Prosperity, 100 Corruption in the 2nd Republic. I've seen a wide range of events and interactions, and am wondering if there are events further along as I bring Liberty to 100 and Corruption to 0 (or try, anyway)?

I like the idea of expanding the interaction between Traits, and was thinking that there could be a synergy between the Jester, Starlet and Extroverted Traits that could boost the Educator, Performer, Professor and/or Barkeep jobs.

On the negative side, perhaps Submissive, Jaded, and Malcontent could lead to a Depression state, while  Dominant, Jaded & Malcontent could lead to a Sadistic state.  There are lots of other combinations that could be interesting, especially if there's a further interaction between the new states and the rest of the House.

Just a code snippet leaking into the text, "random(4,16):

OK, finally won all the battles. If a minigun didn't fall as loot before that last battle I wouldn't have won.The end result was a letdown -- affection boosts are meaningless at this point (and have been for a long time), and the other benefits come with problems. At least make the MC High Nobility for real -- give the MC the trait, and also his wife (or wives) and his children. Up to now he's been some bum who killed his way to the top of the heap trying to find legitimacy as a Great House. Now that he's won . . . he's still a bum.

OK! Cyber Cannon. I don't have any, and that's a problem I have to rectify before hitting the Mastersphere again. Also, after the last fail I went and got all the regenerative surgical implants, and am now saving up for a set of the WEGA armor that has regenerative properties. I also mastered the occult regenerative power. As soon as I get the new armor I'll try again. :-)

Nope. They are so far behind the grind they are worthless at this point, and only Ayden's special weapon might have value . . . if I could take it away from him. I think breaking Aria after building her up into a superhuman will be less aggravating than taking the Mastersphere.

Well, after getting everybody H.U.L.C. armor and almost maxing out stats . . . we can't even get to the final battle anymore. The combat system leaves a whole lot to be desired. I'll go hire those damn Paragons and see if they are designed to be absolute necessities as Clea seems to be consistently magically better than she should be. She is on the same level stat-wise as the others, but her performance makes the others seem like untrained rookies -- yet they have same stats.

NPCs who fall sick and unconscious cannot be removed from their outside-the-house job, and are still going to work.

Just a wrong assignment for names, see screenshot. The party consisted of, in order, Amelia, Juno, Layana, Nicole. No Loren.

But they all died in the final battle -- completely outmatched.

I give newly captured slaves a day off their first day in-house, two  days sometimes, and when I've start harvesting the flowers over at Mai Lynn's place I'll give newly captured slaves one as a gift. Immediately after capture take them to the diner and feed them but don't talk to them, and give then a $5 allowance if you can afford it. The next morning (1st day) give flowers and  the day off. There will still be some work to do, but that makes a good start -- and if they have traits compatible with your House then you'll be almost there already.

So, I'm attacking the Mastersphere and the image displayed has Tori with a pistol -- I chuckled out loud at that! Tori? Well, my party consists of Maja (the Aesir Warrioress from Watery Eyes, she's my Captain), Talika, & Clea, along with the MC & Aria. Tori is back at the Cock & Bull Tavern singing and dancing. :-)

Thanks for a great game!

Dead links, mis-typed links, when you finally get a good link it is full of security, scam and virus warnings.

Nika's Clothes in the lower right of Westside. That is where Nikolai is.

The Drainage Pipe is where you poison the water. The water pump is inside.

(1 edit)

The water pump is in Stokke Hills (run your mouse over the ASTERISKS), and Nikolai's shop is in Westside.

Just a thought and a desire:

When sending Aria to the rebels the Influence penalty seems to not even be a slap on the wrist considering what happens to other people associated with her. Having an Influence penalty of at least 35,000 (same as her price) seems more than fair -- and a penalty to Palace and Kymanto standing also seems more than reasonable. An all-around loss of Influence and Standing for messing up such an important job so badly seems fair to me -- especially since the rewards later, if successful in rebellion, should make up for it.

As for the desire, I know it is a lot more work, and the demographic (they say) doesn't warrant it, but now that we know where all the White women at, can we have a few more of darker shades? :-)

(1 edit)

I have a few ideas to expand the Senate for the MC.

Mingle: political discussions on the floor of the Senate, likely a very small Influence &/or Palace increase or decrease, very small possibility of an increase/decrease in Standing with one of the Houses, small (10s) expenditure of funds for amenities (social relaxations - coffee, drinks, mineral baths, etc)

Lobby: backing up your political discussions with lunches, drinks, bribes, etc, increases positive chances and rewards of Mingle, adds a minor (100s) expenditure of funds, while the MC selects topic (Liberty, Corruption, Control, etc) to Lobby, and if a Law gets passed on that topic the MC gets small Influence &/or Palace increase and an increase in Standing with the bill's owning House -- with a small chance of a decrease in Standing with a competing House.

Debate: engaging in official debate on the floor of the Senate in support of another House's bill, increases all the positive and negative chances, rewards and penalties to Influence, Palace & House Standing of Lobby, as well as double the expenditure of funds, also, if a law is passed on the MC's topic there is a small chance that the MC had a full amendment passed on the Law gaining the MC another very small Influence &/or Palace increase as well as Standing increase with the Bill's owning House, and, of course, a chance of a decrease in Standing with one of the competing Houses. This also includes a chance to be invited (MC & Wife/Consort) to dinner at the House that authored the bill. Additionally, who the MC brings to the dinner, and how she is attired, can result in another Influence increase or, if someone other than the Wife (or First Wife) is brought it would be a minor social scandal -- and an Influence penalty. Other social events and social connections could follow from these dinners.

Thanks for a great game!

In an effort to keep Leia happy (strictly role-play because she's always quite happy living with the MC) I made her the PhysEd teacher with the OK to train using sex. I had to train Leia for a while in Dex & Acrobatics to stay ahead of the likes of Julie & Luckie. I noticed immediately that some of Leia's students got angry, though their skills, including sexual skills, increased. Switching students out that were angry and finding others that were OK with Leia's teaching style I finally came upon Loren -- as Leia had advanced in DEX & Acrobatics enough to take on Loren. And take her on she did -- turning Loren into a Nymphomaniac!

(Edit: oops, Maybe Loren was Nympho all the time (she's 100/100). Well, anyway, she and Leia enjoy the training sessions -- no problems there! :-)  )

I know this is an old post, but I add my voice to rescuing Ellie as well as Freya.

I'm a bit behind you but I'm curious also.

Fantastic!

Having a ton of fun currently role-playing an MC (Johnny Romano) that's a cross between Dave the Dude (Pocketful of Miracles) and 'Bugs' Ahearn (Little Giant). It has been realistically difficult to maintain Influence while running criminal enterprises -- and I have not yet been able to get accepted by House Carozza so perhaps there's something down the road but -- the criminal element could use some additional enterprise opportunities like a denaar tree plantation out in the wilds, or with a wine vineyard or tobacco farm as a front. Or perhaps run a protection racket more in-depth with Rebecca (edit: and  Sofia).
