Is this a bug? Or not working right?

When I ask the internet about effects of marrying an npc in the game it says that you don't have to pay them after marrying them. That's a nice perk since high int npcs are hard to get to accept becoming enslaved.

But when I tried this with an npc, they agreed to marry, but then its still showing a salary payment to them. This doesn't make sense to be paying your wife...

Any thoughts on this anyone?

Thanks

Question re: education of slaves.

So when you go click on the education button you can teach your slaves new skills. But my question is, if you fail then does that build up so that the next time or the time after that that it will eventually help you get a +1 in the skill?

Thanks for any insight on this.

Is there a way to do a dairy farm option in this game? (Using the 2 legged cows instead of real cows?)

This would be super fun to have added.

So ... when I play this on hard mode, when I finish a turn the loyalty's obedience will drop like 50 points for no reason. This makes it unplayable because you can only bring up obedience a small amount each turn. And when you have 3 or 4 slaves drop 50 points obedience in 1 shot it becomes wrecked and in a tail spin.

Why is it like this? I would like the hard mode to be playable but not impossible with obedience dropping for no reason.

Does this game let you pursue a harem ending instead of only choosing 1 girl? I'm not far into the game, but early on the elf girl is telling you to pick "1" of them. I hope someone can reply to me on this 'concern'. THX

Are the uh... romance scenes in this game, doable more than once as you play the game?

Thanks for the reply. And best wishes.

Getting a lot of errors on the most recently updated version of the game. It won't run at all despite chasing around fixes and downloads to make it try to work.

I don't understand what and how to use the outlaw plants for this game? And is there a discrord group and link for this game to ask questions? And are outlaw plants to reduce Chad's affection on your heroines?? The ai suggested that but when I tried it I don't see their affection going down.

Your portrait packs look the best. I like the logical real fantasy look in those above samples. but NONE of those links works. EVERY one of them is broken.

Also interested in a download. But I want to say I like the portraits/pics to look somewhat realistic. At least to the point of not looking cartoony. Looking a bit too cartoony is a turn off. But they don't have to be perfect.

Q1; So... this question has to do with the math for the mood stat. Sometimes if you save up your dates and use them all in 1 shot with 1 character on the same day and time, then at the date you'll see mood went up by+20 right? Well if you do the 2nd and 3rd date also the math of mood isn't adding up right? It should be +20 then +20 and +20... but it;ll sometimes be lower on the 2nd or 3rd date after the 1st date. I wondered why that was?

Q2; I noticed in Strive for Power 1, handcuffs are extremely important. You need them. But in Strive for Conquest, when you look at handcuffs you don't see any use for them. It just says 'physics stat -10'. And it seems you don't need them to bring slaves back to your mansion either. Am I missing something maybe? Perhaps their effects are just hidden? Or... is there some hidden use for handcuffs? Or not?

Q3; When you look at the character screens for your people there's the traits screen under the training screen. And to the right of sex skills. In that box I might see traits such as, Clumsy, Talented, Sickly, and so on. I wondered if all traits are permanent? Or if some can be overwritten? Or is it only that learned traits are overwritable if any?

Q4; Is there a way to turn pictures off in this game to speed up the game's lag speed? Not that I want to, but just curious about this.

Q5; WHEN will you announce and work on Strive for Power 3? And I'd want to suggest Oni being added to Strive for Power 3. (And possibly imps... although imps could just be as combat fodder.) In a lot of games and stories Oni women are cool, strong, and beautiful.

Well have fun everyone!

Thanks very much. This is a great game. I hope you keep building more of them after this one.

#1  You know I wish there was a way for you to EARN making a slave proc to have them give you sex instead of you initiating it? This could make it more fun in some ways because its more npc interaction. Like right now you only get 'spousal intimacy' if you initiate it. It would be neat if there would be a way to trigger this each turn using loyalty for free without it costing you 1 of your uses, based on the slave initiating it on some kind of proc stat feature. This could be added for either the date or sex feature. or both.

(At least... the above was a suggestion based on the idea i don't think it already does this on its own... right?)

#2 I never see dwarf race pop up in game. I'm wondering if its just not triggering those right. Maybe this could be adjusted?

#3 It would be neat to have a job added that would be just sending slaves out to dispatch to 'forage' ANYTHING. Not meat. But it could be... well pick pocketing. It could be based on thief job also.

#4 Another thing that could be potentially added would be, a chance each day for a bandit attack at your mansion.

Question 1: when you pick a slave to train and then realize that slave is deformed or bad somehow how do you cancel training that particular 1 without using the finish training button? (1 way around this is selling the slave being trained but thats deterimental)

Question 2: sometimes the family first tag will be earned but the characters involved aren;'t family. Confused why its doing that and if it means its triggering that tag in other ways to my deteriment also?

Q3; is there an advanced class version of the slave trainer skill?

Q4; if you sell a slave while its equipped with gear, do you lose the gear?

You said collection is everything from dungeons... so does that mean it won't boost crafting and skill gains such as from hunting and cooking? Thank you for the reply.

So,... I was looking at the jobs for farmer, hunter, and worker. Worker and Farmer have the stat bonus; 'collection +50%'.

Where I get confused on this is, how is collection not just doing the same thing and same numbers, as hunting and fishing? Can't it basically do the same thing as hunting and fishing? And what does it include and exclude in counting stuff?

Thank you.

So after playing the game a few weeks, I noticed the number of choosable jobs to add to my main character are a LOT. Some of them are very creative. Thanks for that.

But it made me want to ask... can you unlock EVERY job on your main character? Or does it limit you to only a certain number of them? I would want to know that before I start picking stuff.

So  I wanted to ask... is there a way to speed up the game, in terms of button reaction speed and lag? When I go to say click on an ability like the xp boost or one of the trainer skills to activate it on a house hold member there's like 5 to 10 seconds of lag. I thought maybe other people might have had a solution for this?

Other things too in the game there's a bit of lag, though its not a lot of lag... just say 3 or 4 seconds for it to catch up after you click on something.

Can stats go above 5? What happens if you try to get them above 5? Will it break the game? It might be fun to try a game with the stats inflated...

So in Strive for Power 2 Conquest, there's tutorials that teach you how to edit and change the variables file in the core file subsection of scr in the game folder. They then tell you to modify 2 population stat codelines. Simple and easy. But they then list a 3rd variable that is the max population variable and say to change that.

Only... that line is no longer in the variables file.

Does this mean they unlocked the ceiling of the max number of servants you can have? (or allies if you like that word better). Is there a ceiling, or was it raised?

Curious what you think.

When you go to do a dungeon or whatever... you can sometimes come back with wagon loads of slaves. This means you have too many. This prompted me to ask, if some of them don't have the obedience trait and the break in trait yet, is there a way to pay an npc in town to train them instead of only give them up?

So is this correct then? (1 meat + 1grain = 4 curry)

So... when you cook dishes in the game, it costs MORE resources to make a dish than you end up with. Example; to make 1 curry it costs you 1 meat and 2 grains. For 1 bread it costs 3 grains. Meat soup costs 1 meat and 1 vegetable.

How is that worth it to lose more resources than you gain? The only logical reason would be if the end product curry or bread or meat soup would actually be 5 meals or 3 meals or feed much more than the ingredients? But I don't know if that's actually true?

And is 1 particular type of meal made got the best efficiency to make if that's the case?

will it work to do a combination of fishing and hunting together? And 1 of the problems I've run into is that upgrading/building is very slow without a forge. If you don't have the forge will that mess all that up being able to meet the deadlines in time?

I wish there was an alternative to expeling a family member. Like a 3rd option to equip them with gear and send them out into the world (On a quest? Or to grow up? Or to find their own land to be a master). Also if you could give them gear and gold to get started that'd be nice.

The reason this seems best is... that's what you'd do when you raise kids and they grow up. They would go out on their own. And it would be nice to have an option besides (1) try to steal dad's harem, or 2) expelled!

This could be used to also seed new quests!

Like, 5 to 12 weeks later you get a quest to rescue the son you sent out into the world.

OR,

Your son that you sent out into the world is asking for a loan to startup his own minotaurgirl dairy farm. (following dad's footsteps.) so he needs seed money as a quest.

There could also be a bad son black sheep route of 1 of your kids that you sent out into the world comes back X days later to steal dad's favorite waifu. And you have to fight him.

So there's a quest in the game that pops up where your 1 of your best minions you catch them reading a letter from their family pleading for help. And its options are 1) Burn the letter, or 2) send them 20 grain.

I think both options need adjustment on this quest because if you have zero grain or less than 20 grain you are forced to burn the letter. I think it would be more helpful if you can assign a 2 day window to the quest in case you don't have 20 grain. Its not realistic for you to spit on the best minion's face to spite their family after all. But if you want to make it not to easy but still have an option you could also say... well if you don't have 20 grain today then tomorrow the grain you could still supply it but will need 30 grain instead, or 20 grain and 10 goild.

Thanks for listening.

I wondered if this game maker has made other games also? I ask because I like the depth that this one has. The ability to build over time with sandbox features I feel is very lacking in other games. So naturally part of this post is, are there are other games similar to this with both building and sandbox features like this one has?

I hope they keep adding to this game. Its level of depth make it so amazing.

So I wondered.... is there a setting that controls when body pics show in the uh... "intimacy" screen? They normally don't show then. But very occasionally... they sometimes very rare chance a pic will suddenly show itself there. And I'm not sure what determines when they do and don't show?

Is there a level limit to how high you can have your main character get? (And similar for followers/slaves?)

If there is I'd like to also know how to raise it a bit. To preserve sandbox play. And is there also a way to raise that level limit by changing something in a saved game file? Thanks.

I'd noticed a lot of certain races of followers have really low magic caps. I think this could be changed in the game by adding an alchemy potion that could raise the limit of the magic cap. But make it hard to get and expensive so that the game's initial quality of working for stats is preserved.

Thanks.

So I was reading the threads on here about changing some things in a saved file. it doesn't look too hard for some things like bed space and mansion space beds. I got that worked out reading this.

But how do I change the # of interactions my main character can do with followers per day? And is it possible to set that to be based on level? or only a flat amount? Eventually I wish it would go up like +1 every x levels for both meets and intimacy both. And I want to change both of those.

Do these older mods that are from 4 years ago or so, still work given that the game has been updated so much since? Thanks.

Thanks.

Oh interesting! I get it now. Thank you.

1) If you have equipment on a slave and then sell the slave, do you lose the gear? Or does it automatically take that off?

2) Is there an alchemy item to convert futas to normal girls? (Or... something else?)

Thanks

So... when I use water spells with a water mage, I can only use the water spells water blade and the frost prison attack spell on the front line only. I wondered if that's supposed to be a bug? It would make sense that magic attack spells should be able to hit the back row also, I thought?

Curious what you think? Its not game breaking as a bug but more of technical decision though.

Thanks.

Also in regards to your query, I thought of something else that might help. For some of these types of renpy games the load times of the game were completely different if I was playing the 32 bit version or the 64 bit version. it wasn't always straight laced with 1 being better than the other though... Sometimes the 64 bit version would run smoother, and sometimes it was the opposite. You could try this and see. You also might even be able to manually move your save files over to the other one without losing them(?) to experiment with this.
