Nice game. You deserve a bacon out of five stars.

Interesting take on the movement, it was a fun experience, even if I feel like the climbing on vertical slopes felt a bit unreliable and unpredictable.

Good game, I especially loved the page transition animation.

Thank you. The core gameplay loop is really simple; I invested most of the time into polishing everything. Adding other features at the expense of polish would have made the game a lot worse to play and enjoy

Thank you. The font is definitely not the most readable, but I chose it to give a rough math paper feeling to the game.

Thank you. Yes, the game is repetitive after a few runs. I preferred to invest as much time as possible into polishing the game; otherwise, even the core game loop would not be fun at all.

Super fun and hard game. Good job.

I don't get most of the mechanics. Without a tutorial or any visual clue its hard to understand what units do and how they move. For me, spamming random units is enough to win without understanding how the game actually behaves and plays, which is a shame.

Good art style, but the gameplay needs refinement.  It's not clear whether you can control it or not, or when the animations stop. When you get to control an animal, it is really hard to distinguish a walkable surface and identify walls.

This game reminded me of old Pokémon games that had similar puzzles where you had to move the rocks to progress. Really nice game that brought me back in the past.

Interesting idea, but rough around the edges.  It's really easy to get soft locked. A bit more polish would greatly improve the game experience.

Beautiful game. Really enjoyed the puzzles!

Got stuck at the mushroom level, I still don't know how I made it. Visuals are good, but the character controller needs a lot of work. I believe you used a rigidbody-based controller, which is hard to tune if mixed with physics simulation. For example, when you drop the item on the ground, it creates an odd behaviour where you immediately collide with the object. You should also try using a second camera to render only the hands to avoid having them always clip through everything.

Thank you. Glad that you enjoyed the game and the theme interpretation. The font, as with other parts of the  game, was a hit-or-miss choice. The handwritten font is not super readable, but that's exactly what I wanted to give a "math exercise done on paper" feeling.

Thank you!

Thank you! Glad you like the game and the kinda wild interpretation of the theme

Its a good start, for next games you should try to give players more feedbacks. For example, a little blink when you hit an enemy. You could also make this game a lot more interesting by using the shapes in the background as obstacles. For example, as a triangle, you can pass through other triangles, but squares will be solid. Same for the enemies and add other shapes. Good luck with your next game projects!

Building your own platform level was super fun. Maybe adding the option to zoom in/out to better see the obstacles and the bounds of tiles, especially for puzzle levels where you compose the images, would probably make the experience a lot smoother. With a bit of polish, you have a good game in your hands.

Thank you!

Really good style and interesting gameplay. The game is solid but needs to be rebalanced a bit. The early game is really slow because you need a ton of extenders but only have a few ores to use, I had to wait plenty of times fo resources to actually do something.  The radar also needs a bit of extra changes because I had to place 5+ towers on a single location hoping to get the right spot.

You did a great job making the game run with all that grass in WebGL. The enemies feel spongy because they probably have a big HP bar and have no visual feedback or animation when hit.

Great game, you did a great job. This game feels incredibly big and polished to be a jam game. I did not finish the game, but I enjoyed the spacecraft movement a lot. The accelerations and decelerations give you the impression of moving in the space, where no air slows you down.

Thank you for your feedback! We still have not figured out how to properly make and handle audio

Thank you for your feedback! You also have a good run time

Thank you for playing our game!

Cool style and sounds! I like the retro style and feel of the game. I won't delve into the gameplay itself because I lack the skill to not lose in a blink of an eye.

Connecting towers and disabling chains when one breaks is a good mechanic and fit well with the theme.  Unfortunately, it becomes frustrating because enemies spawn at random locations, even in between towers, and disable a large chain. I'd love to have a minimap or at least a schema that helps you see what part of your chain was disabled by enemies.

(1 edit)

Nice touch to have animation when you steer the boat/plane. Controlling the plane is a bit confusing, but when you stabilize the position, you can hold shift and aim to the moon!

Fun game, the connection mechanic is interesting! Unfortunately, there are only 4 levels, i'd love more to play. I did struggle a bit to see when the cables are near breaking point but with a few attempts its not hard to guess approximately where they will break.

Perfect theme fit! The game is nice, lacks a bit of content and extra effects, but it's a solid starting point to add more content and more connection issues.

Simple yet entertaining game. I like the art style in particular the map bounds effects that are cool!
In the first few minutes, you have to figure out the mechanics, but then it gets interesting to dig and defend your base at the same time. I'd reduce a bit the resources slide when you bring them to the base.

Oh ok, I'll try out the game again and see if I can collect the correct one (or maybe collect and bug all of them)

I like the usage of 2d assets in a 3d map with a child-like drawing style. I'm sorry to say this, but I could not figure out what I have to do in the game. I picked up a bunch of cats and the food bowl. The orange one probably decided to bug out, and I could not drop it.

It's a good start for a beginner game, especially because you did it all by yourself!  The movement feels a bit stiff and inconsistent when you glue to a wall. For future projects, you could try to focus on creating a shorter game that allows you to dedicate more time to the gameplay and improve at coding.
