Hey, I think I worked out the workshop issue with steam (still working on the local files issue). If you get a chance, can you let me know if you can grab things from the workshop now? Thanks!

Hmm, that is a very strange error indeed, especially since I'm not using the Facepunch.Steamworks library. I've confirmed ISteamUGC is enabled and the cloud quota is set to max, so I'm not sure what's happening here. I might need to contact Steam to get the bottom of this, but I'll keep poking around!
Also, the game should automatically inject the tags corresponding to your mod if the files are just in the mods folder in the game's directory. It looks like the error it's throwing is caused by the path to the card image being incorrect, so maybe doing it that way instead of the (admittedly cool) console hack?
Sorry this is a pain, you should definitely be able to mod. I'll let you know when I work this out!
Hmm, I'll look into this. The Steam Workshop should be set up, but as far as I know I'm the only one who's ever used it :p
In the mean time, can I see your mod code? It will crash if there are errors or references to undefined images/audio. I should probably work on something to properly display errors.
Thanks for checking the game out!
Heh, sure! I tend to go for 4 strategies based on what I pull:
Pact Aggro: Basically your strat. Play lots of pact soldiers to buff your pact assassin, control the board in the mean time with blast/earthquake (or shatter if you're running brood artillery). Renegotiate to pump out soldiers faster, and salve to mitigate the damage you take from them. Probably the strongest if you can survive the early game.
Palewing aggro: Similar to pact, but with Palewing fortresses and soldiers/guerillas. The guerillas are pretty good ally control on their own, but you might want blast. This involves playing a lot of white, so you'll want renegotiate and spare parts with maybe a brood artillery to feed it and give you some extra board control.
Fish Food: Thalassari guards with for the greater good for tons of life and inside information as the win con. Run lots of control and get that life total sky high. Slow, but since you can bump life as high as you want, you can get super safe for the end game.
Spore Control: Flood their board with spores using fungal tower and cloud of spores to lock them out of the game, then burst them down with moldstorm. Blast for problem allies, and maybe shatter, though a lot of structures are useless without allies and help you fill their board. Probably the weakest of the decks, since the brood allies are anti-synergies. I think I might add a clause like 'doesn't attack spores' to them if we update this. In the mean time, if you want allies in this deck, run pact assassin.
