Yeah that's totally fine with the limited time of the Game Jam, but even the description didn't really tell the player what to do. It just explained what every icon means without telling the player where to click and when. I had to click randomly here and there at first to figure out where I should click, and once I understood how it's working I was able to play. Just letting you know what happened with me to think of how you can improve this experience.

It's very impressive that you guys did all the assets, they look great!
I think when you find the NPC you're looking for, something should happen at least a sound effect if not visual effect that shows that you did find the right one. And maybe a negative effect as well whenever you find the wrong one.
Very cute and cozy game. Well done!
I can't understand how you were able to pull this off in 3 days. It's very well made. The difficulty and upgrade balance is so good. The wave system and how it gets progressively more difficult is also very well made. I just wanted to try the game and ended up playing for 14 min before quitting it because I originally wanted to work.
Excellent submission! Well done!
Simple, clear, fun, and very satisfying.
One frustrating thing though is that you can't always get all the viruses. Sometimes it's just impossible to go from one side to the other because of the speed limit of the white cell.
Other than that, it was great! Well done, very well made! I really enjoyed it!
Cool game! I really love the concept. There's an issue where the cost and the info about each building doesn't always display and when it does, it doesn't always display correctly, so it was hard to know what to build while not knowing what it's gonna give me.
Other than that the game is pretty solid. Well done!
OH NO! 😂 I'm sorry you had to go through that! I still don't know when that happens so I'm unable to fix this bug so far. Although, I did keep the negative population and income on purpose because I thought it would be funny if someone reached that point, but I definitely didn't plan for a bug to lead to this! Thank you for your feedback.
Thanks! Can you make your game playable in the browser? Your download file also doesn't specify what OS this zip is for. I downloaded it and saw it's made in Unity and this build is for Windows so I can't run it. But since you're using Unity, you can make a build for the Web and upload it to itch.io and check the box that says playable in the browser. Let me know if you do that, so I try out your game
Yeah it is definitely far from being finished. You're right I should make the selection visuals clearer.
Regarding following the road, I actually wanted to have traffic which you control with traffic lights so that you clear the way for emergency vehicles, but it was too complicated so I kept it till the end (and ended up not having time to implement it). Thank you!
Very well made: Esthetics, sound, music, the whole feel of the game is really nice.
The game is a bit slow but I guess that's just part of the feel and you also didn't want to make it too difficult for newcomers I guess.
The tutorial, arrows, and everything you added made it very clear and obvious how it should be played and where to go and what to do, I think on this aspect you did an excellent job.
Just a small suggestion: a lot of the time it's not obvious what's in the foreground something the player can collide with and what's in the background just for esthetics. You can play a bit with the lighting or focus to make this a bit clearer.
Best game I've seen so far in this Game Jam. Well done!
It a nice game in general, but here are some things that I found frustrating:
- The ball falls off the edge too often.
- The map is huge!
- I don't know how to go. Even if that's part of the game, the map is huge so it gets very repetitive very quickly. And if I set the power to the maximum just to try to get somewhere faster, I immediately fall of the edge and it resets.
Other than that, the atmosphere and idea are nice.
Really nice and fun game.
I agree with the others, it would be a lot easier to play if every control had a different button instead of switching between them.
Bug: I'm pressing D, and I'm moving to the right. I then press W and D at the same time, I move diagonally. I then keep pressing W only, at this point, the ant is still facing right. So if I'm shooting, it continues to shoot to the right even though I'm now going only upward.
Other than that, the game is very fun.
I think it's nice in general, but some things are frustrating:
- Not knowing where people and rockets are, so I have no idea where to go.
- People wait in turn to get out of the vehicle when dropping them off at the rocket. 1 person gets out of the car and other wait for them to arrive to the rocket, then another person gets down. So as the player you just sit there waiting for them while the clock is ticking and you're doing nothing.
In terms of Gameplay, mechanics, sound, graphics, all of these are really good.
If the house was selected, you can't do anything before deselecting the house. I think that's what caused the issue. I fixed it and now you can't select a house, you can only select Hospitals or Police stations and then click on a house to send the vehicle. I uploaded an update with the fix. Thank you!
