Wow, amazing game! I love the level design and the graphics!
I like the speedrun aspect of the game where you are also encouraged to go fast by the "gut" mechanic.
The only small issue that I had was with the difficulty, you can just run to the toilet without worrying too much about the zombies. Would love maybe more ways to deal with zombies like maybe some red barrels. It can also be nice to make the player have to go back to their car or starting area so that way players who just run from zombies will have to face them again later.
Cool game! Many good ideas. The different enemies with a nice HP bar and the level design is interesting.
Some people already complained about the zoom so to add something new I guess it would be the first "powerup. It feels like a punishment ast if you shoot at an enemy in front of you the bullets won't him them. I think that the spread of the bullets should be less.
I also found very satisfying shooting the crates and watch them get pushed by the bullets and how they get moved when hitting a wall to avoid softlocks.
Cool game! I like the different enemy types and the mechanic of having HP and an Infection meter being different, giving you a chance to keep playing for more if you find a medkit but also not allowing you to constantly get hit.
What I had some trouble with is the shooting. I think it's confusing because of the different angles the elements of the game are. You can see the player's body but you can only see the zombies from the top. I also think it would be nice to be able to move and shoot in different directions.
It would also be nice to make the hitboxes of some zombies bigger and reduce a little the player hitbox.
Last, I feel that all the zombies are a little too speedy, it's nice that you included zombies that are faster but every zombie is faster than the player.
I can definetly see this game becoming even greater with some adjustments, like more maps, more enemy types and much more! Great job!
Oooh I see. That makes sense about pressing the shift. I'm not sure what game engine you are using but you could look at trying to show the UI while the right click is pressed and place it when is released or could give you atime to click on the UI element to place it and if not clicked it just disappears.
But yeah, really cool game!
I really liked it! Some things that took away from my enjoyment were the "hitboxes" of the candles as it seems that some of them are a little missplaced. You could add a specific icon for the mouse just as you do with the doors. Another thing is the cat fight, I felt it was a little too long and not giving any challenge, so I would rather make the cat attacks faster or just make the fight shorter. On the other hand I really liked the aesthetics and would definetly love to see what you are able to do with some more time. The game reminded me of Undertale for some reason.

Nice game! I only had a couple of issues with the controls. It feels a little unatural (at least for me) to move with A/D (you also wrote that we muve with W/D) but jump with Space. I think it would be nice to give the option to jump with W since it's not used for anything else. Also, it would have been nice to be able to place platforms onyl using a clik instead of pressing shift, again, since we don't use the other click for anything.
I remember I started with a 4/4 but did something with the chords were only the first one was a full note and the rest were like thirds. I am not really sure why. I think in the beginnign I wanted to make a different rythm and it didn't really fit in the 4/4. In the end it did sound kinda unique like something was going on but it was completely accidental.

I had fun playing through the game. Very nice mechanic and way to implement the theme. I loved the difficulty progression throughout the level and how the levels let you find different approaches to problems. Sometimes some solutions make me feel that they were unintended, making me feel smart, Like how to stop the pistons on their levels.
Nice game, same as other comments. I would also add that the game seems pretty unforgivable, it feels like if you get hit by an enemy or make a wrong jump you won't be able to beat the game. Also, it took me a while to realize that I could shoot enemies.
I really liked the graphics and the effect when parts of the levelsget lit up as they enter the characters vision range. I also really liked the intor cutscene. Great job!

Great to hear you can recognize them as goblins. I was worried that my sprites wouldn't be understood. My gf thought that the character was a chicken and that the goblins were frogs.
Hmm, I see. I haven't encountered that issue. Is it always the second goblin? What about it's position? Is he on the right, left, ...?
